Jason never fails to leave me wanting more and every note and chord fills my heart with love and heals my soul. No matter what style he's done, it's always Mr. A-Z shining through. Such an inspiration and worth the wait!!!! SEE YOU AT JONES BEACH, NY!!!!!! :) :) :)
Most people will say that this album isn't "Jason" material. But to those who say that, listen to the stuff of his off of his live albums. This is the defination of why I love his music. It's not "I'm Yours" or "The Remedy" but this album is probably one of his most poetic and beautiful albums. Can't be in a bad mood listening to this! Way to go, Jason!
That song the world as I see it I bought it then listen to it then deleted it! Don't buy his songs!
Awesome - looking forward to cranking it up!!!!- I am noticing others having similar difficulties with the purchase tho - I too have 5 previously purchased singles - 2 stayed just as singles & not showing up on album - 2 stayed as singles but do appear on album also and 1.just appears on album the single is gone
Verrry disappointed. What happened to mr a-z?
I'm a huge Mraz fan. But this? This is not the Mraz I know and love. I've waited so long for a new album and this is such a letdown. 90% of the songs are generic easy-listening. I was really hoping "What Would Love Do Now" would be on this album, but even that didn't happen. If this is what he's feeling and makes him happy, good for him. But I want my $$$ back. ... I was gonna go see him on tour this summer, but since the music will mostly be from this album, I will sadly have to pass.
I can get behind that!
I've been listening to Mraz since 2002. Nothing beats the fantastic melodies and feeling of Live at Java Joe's. I'm just not a fan of the polished whispy tunes he's cranking out now.
Normaly I listen to a short piece of each track,I was compelled to listen to everything! Great Album ! I will look for more of his music!!!
Every Artist needs to change things up just a little every now and then. But not all of them pull it off after they do. But Jason pull it off! this album is legit!
Can't believe I'm first...could not wait for this album to come out. Great Job, Jason!
But Im so happy its finally here & cant wait to see him perform it live in my bday!!!! 😍😁☺😃😄😊
This album is so good! No autotunes or synths but pure talent and great songwriting!! Thanks mraz I will listen to this for a long time!!
Amazing!! Anytime I need a pick me up Jason Mraz is there! He really has an amazing voice, can't wait to see him in concert at the Red Rocks.
Something doesn't feel completely honest about his album, I ended up buying two songs that I have an average response to. This is not my usual response to his music
As a JMRaz fan, I have already purchased The World As I See It, I Won't Give Up, 93 Million Miles, and Everything is Sound when they were released. Now, it only is showing that I purchased 2 of those! Also own "Freedom Song" but I understand it is a live version, that's why it won't work in complete my album. iTunes, please fix!
This album makes me so excited to go see him in the Gorge later this summer!!! I've been a fan since the beginning and think this is by far his best album. Love it!
This is what it's all about!
Jason can never disappoint! With his soulful voice, it's perfect for the summer season coming up.
I LOVE IT!!!! Everything he does just shows tremendous talent.
My favorite album that Jason Mraz put out was his very first one. However, this album is actually pretty neat. The tunes are new and different. He is still consistent with his amazing vocals and it seems like the songs are written quite well. I didn't even realize that this album was in the works so it was very exciting to hear! Thanks Jason, for producing more of your beautiful music & sharing it with the world.
I've been a Mraz fan from the beginning and I, personally, think that he's only gotten better and this is exactly I wanted from him. I just love everything about this record. I can't wait to see him in August.
seems kinda anti-climactic after 4 years of waiting. Not a lot of emotion or cleverness in this album like in his others : ( On a side note, where's christina perry? she was supposed to be on this album!
I can't believe that after all he's gone through, he still hangs onto his fans! Usually by now I would have started listening to someone else, but this album brings us back home to where Jason began. It's a new sound, it's an old sound. It's amazing!
A must have, amazing artist that always has a positive feeling.
I love Jason Mraz!
Very much enjoying the new accoustic/folk music flavor from Jason's new album. Not that I don't love his other work but, this is such a nice refreshing change from typical pop music in my opinion and(no offense to anyone but) I'm not so sure some young people are cultured enough to understand that pop is derived from other genre of music and the artistry and hard work that goes into writing and bringing to life songs like these, songs from the heart. This album is very moving, nice work!!! :)
This is album is definitely his best, the lyrics and production are brilliant. He had a different approach for each song and expressed honesty within every song. Buy the whole album you won't be disappointed. He has a Grammy coming his way.
I regret to say that Jason did not choose his best songs for LOVE. After almost 4 years since "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.", Jason has written some AMAZING songs (Rescue, Gentleman, Up, When We Die) to name a few. But where are those? This album is a poor reflection of how great of a songwriter he is. It's a sad day to be a Mraz fan.
There is not one song on here that is unique and intriguing. They are all slow and boring... very unoriginal and not even comparable to what made me fall in love with Mraz with Waiting for My Rocket to Come and Mr. A-Z. He is slowing down, turning more and more pop and less and less interesting... this album is a huge disappointment :(
this is a good album. but it's very shallow in musical depth. One of those albums to have on while you drive around town, or when you have friends over. Definitely not one to dive into and appreciate for it's musicality. In other words, the style is and overall feel is reminiscent of country music.
His Grammy's will for sure have company in the upcoming year. The album is truly incredible.
You should get engaged, have it thrown all away in a second, and then try writing a feel good up beat album. This is an absolutely amazing piece of art. So much feeling in each lyric. For those who are rating this album with less than 5 stars should really go and listen to the pop music that is complete garbage, sung by people who can't write music, or sound good live. Jason Mraz is the most talented singer/songwriter around. I applaud this album with a standing ovation. Those who don't like this album know nothing about that four letter word…"LOVE".
“Like Diving into a Pool... and Praying for Rain…” Leave it to Mraz to pull it off. A softer album but still filled with all his unique poetry set to beautiful music.
Oh my goodness--- please, do yourself a favor and.....just l i s t e n to his lyrics. The chord progressions are just gorgeous- all I can say is...wow. What a fantastic album Jason. Thank you so very much for this, man.
Love Jason Mraz! But "Who's Thinking About You Now?" is the only track off the album that would not download when I purchased the entire album. Says the file is corrupt? Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this? I've never had this issue before when downloading an album. Thank you!
People act like artists are always supposed to stay the same JUST to make the listener happy. This isn't about you. Just because he isn't the Mraz you "used to know" you've shut down your mind and heart to the message he is trying to send. Why is the whole world obsessed with upbeat stuff. Slow down. Feel the love in the world. Really listen to the lyrics. The album is beautiful and he still has his own sound. I haven't heard any sound like his and it's not even mainstream. Anything less than five stars is an insult.
a beautiful song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love it - but was going to buy it regardless of what it sounded like. thanks to Jason for being such an advocate for equal rights for ALL Americans! You're a great ally!
As a fan of Jason's from his first days in the spotlight nearly 10 years ago, I have been a true fan of this imaginative and talented man's work. So I needed to hear this album a couple - 3 times before I realized how amazing it is. I think this is true for anyone you've been following for a long time. "Love" needs to be judged on its own merits, not compared to his other efforts. He always shows remarkable growth with each new project. This is certainly no exception. A+
Different album style than his others, but definitely still Mraz at his best! Absolutely Amrazing! Buy it now! DO IT!
Keeping with the four theme I give this record 4/5 stars. As an avid Mraz fan, I find this to be a decent follow up to a "life changing" record he last put out. Due to the massive success of his last record people are going to expect the same thing again, and if you do, you must not be an artist yourself. You can't produce the same thing twice and call it a done deal. I like the slower side of Mraz, and you get this with him. I can only imagine the amount of pressure he had in writing this record based on "I'm yours" success. Job well done. On a side note, even of you are only a "somewhat" fan of Mraz, go see him live. Great experience.
I thought there would be I Never Knew You studio version, but there isn't. But still, you are a-w-e-s-o-m-e! <3
This is definitely a different path for Jason Mraz, and It is not my favorite. First, he moved from his poppy, hip-hoppy early vibe to a perfect, calming sound in We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things, but this has gone too far from pop. It is almost country! I am disappointed.
Between Mraz, Train, Gotye, and Fun., I think this is going to be a great summer for music!
