Great mix of songs overall. I've always disliked the choice of Gavin DeGraw for the theme song for this series, and the opener (a live version) can't change that for me. But a great Jimmy Eat World track, Kill, brings a harder rock sound on the third track that mixes melodic high points with great riffs. The Rock'N'Roll Soldiers have a great anthem with Funny Little Feeling, and Tyler Hilton's Glad gives a nice acoustic touch. Sidewalks from Story of the Year is the best track, and its great to hear this version, which shows off their capabilities as instrumentalists and keeps the vocals in tune nicely. The inclusion of When the Stars Go Blue from Tyler Hilton and Bethany Joy Lenzbrings us back to the show well, and it is a fairly decent number. Keane does their this with Everybody's Changing, and Mixtape spells out teen angst well, again reminiscent of what we love most about OTH. The album is a good one, for those needing an introduction to the show, or for viewers who want to hear songs from poignant moments from the show, but in the end it really is just a good mixtape.

wow. i've had the album for about 3 years now. its one of the best albums i own. normally i would say its a bummer that you have to buy the whole album but its worth it with this one. every song on this CD is amazing. definately worth buying.

This is one of the main reasons why I love this show. The music has never failed to amaze me, neither has the actual show. I simply love One Tree Hill. Oh and by the by, Lucas = HOTT!

This CD is just as good as the show- which I love FYI. But it is really the music that makes the show. The producers (or something) love music so they really get amazing music on the show that adds to the atmosphere. The artists are people you really would never listen to otherwise which stinks for the people who don't watch the show. XOXO

My favorite song off of this album is by far When the Stars Go Blue because my favorite character is Haley James. She is such a wonderful singer with so much talent. I love one tree hill...it basically completes my life and so does this album. The cast has so much talent and they have chosen all the right song for the show. I think that they should get HALO on here though (by Haley James Scott/Bethany Joy Galeotti) Great work to everyone who worked on this album! BRAVO!

OTH is my favorite show i know all the words to all six seasons by heart....im obsessed! The music moments for most of these songs were great. Travis, Butch Walker, Story of the Year, Jimmy Eat World, and Ty Hilton rocked the 1st and 2nd seasons. Keep up the good work! For all OTH luvers you cant go another minute without buying this album. There are a few songs that were a bit depressing, but that just made me like the album more. The songs on it, are sort of not any type of music. It has its own genre. I loved this album. I will never stop listening to it.

This is a great album! I love all the songs. I highly reccomend "Kill", "Sidewalks", and "Everybody's Changing". If you are looking for a song that gets you pumped up "Funny Little Feeling" will do that for ya!

the song that they forgot was from episode 3:16 "With tired eyes tired minds tired souls we slept" its the school shooting episode. they forgot the end song "Lost Along The Way" by MoZella. It plays while lucas does his voice over and while keith is shot by dan.

i am a complete oth fan!! i watch evry single episode over and over again and i have all their pics on my computer. they have lots of good songs here. if only they had haley's song "halo" i luv that sog but i have 2 buy the whole friends with benfit cd just 2 get the song. well i hope everybody luves the new season. i do, except the fight between naley. i know that they r meant 2 be 2gether and i hate it when they fight. also, peyton and lucas should totally get 2gether. i hope brooke does well with the baby.

Generally speaking, this album is really very good. Tracks like Mixtape, Lie in the Sound, Glad, The Good Kind, When the stars go blue and the title song from the first 4 Series' I dont want to be. However, i do think some tracks are nothing special. I completed my album after buying 3/4 songs - the whole thing is definatley worth it.

Please please please itunes, can u please get some tv series of one tree hill, its unfair how America itunes can have it but we can't. Please get some episodes of one tree hill.

It just shows you how many great artists have been used on OTH. This is without dount the best soundtrack to a show in the world. Its a bit of a shame that Gavin Degraws track is live and not the actual one they use in the show but it is still fabulous

Its on the album Friends with Benefit which you can get freely!! i brought it and its awesome!!!! great investment if your into a range of diff music types! includes Fall Out Boy, Jack's Mannequin and other fab bands!
