For those that understand that growth and wisdom comes with seeking a greater purpose should love this album. Growing up on Reggae and understanding the culture and also growing up on Snoop Dogg will understand the journey “Uncle Snoop” has gone through to get to this amazing point in his life. This album is brilliantly put together and personifies the artistic growth Snoop has gone through his entire career. I don’t understand why this album has received more publicity…..Check Check, then again i do understand. Its because Snoops not talking about gang banging and pimping so that makes it a horrible album to the commercial world. This is life changing music and a great investment

For everyone who doesn't like this, take the time and watch the documentary about his trip to Jamaica and the reason why he's choosing this path. His reasoning is completely legit and I think it's a job well done

First off, if you are hoping for a comeback of 90's snoop this isn't it. This is Reggae, his new lifestyle and love. He went through a spiritual journey in Jamaica to be able to make this. It is about him spreading peace, love and struggle, and the songs do that beautifully. Not only is the music powerful and great, but it stays true to the legends.

It is a great album he nailed it I would buy it I hope he makes more albums as snoop lion though snoop dogg was good he does great on this album BUY

I do like the reggae with a hip hop sound to it. People call it garbage because it's not what he was in the 90s but that was the point. He wanted to get away from that image and find something he truly believe in.

This album is the best. I fell in love with it after I watched the documentary so I decided to buy it. It is very amazing. Very worth the money. Snoop has changed for the better and is an amazing artist.

Wow!!! I'm 53 and know the Snoop of the early days. I just watched the documentary for this album and I am so happy and pround of his transformation into manhood. Love this cd and can't wait to listen to it all day while I'm working tomorrow. Love the old music and I can appreciate what this album means spiritually. What a gift.

I'm halfway through this album and I like it. You gotta understand that snoops getting older and he can't stay "hood" his whole life. As a human and as an artist he's got to evolve. Plus you got to see the documentary to understand this album.

The beats are tight the vocals are different and on point. The sound is unique and the message is right on time. Snoop has always had the courage to be himself; watching his spiritual awakening is inspiring. Respect.

The only reason some people rate the album badly is because they expect real reggae. It doesn’t matter that it’s pop/reggae or whatever. What matters is how good it is.

After watching the "documentary" titled reincarnation, I had to buy this entire album, keep it real Snoop LION!!!!

Right. Here it is. There are people who are like Snoop then there are people who are NOT like Snoop. What does that mean? It means #1 having lived in the garbage that people and social systems can deal out, it means #2 not being okay with that, and it means #3 pulling any piece out of the mixed-up cosmic puzzle that you have spread out in front of you to fill in a picture that makes more sense. Find the pieces. Go through the doors. Sometimes that change happens a little at a time. Sometimes it's as hair splitting as dropping a Lamborghini engine into a Volkswagen Beetle. Usually, we change a little at a time, which is what Snoop has been doing for decades--changing the sucky givens that he was born into for the sweet gains that any normal person would want. Really like the mixer of different types of reggae such as ska, dance hall, dub etc. It seems like smoking weed is being praised more than Jah. This album could offend those in the Rastafarian faith.

I'll be the first to admit that when I heard Snoop changed his name to Snoop Lion and was going to do a Reggae album, that I thought the music industry could sink no lower. I must admit, I was absolutely wrong. This album has a great vibe and feel, is catchy and absolutely not what I was expecting. Keep an open mind and you will love this album. A true Gem!

Come on guys, no one can say anyone is not being themselves except the individual. Everyone knows Snoop is one of the most versatile artists out there, he's worked with EVERYONE (even Willie Nelson, and he's been on the Martha Stuart show, just to name a couple) ... he's just doing what he's always done: evolving. I have always admired him for that, he's so adaptable, it's impressive, and he's capable of it because he's so talented. I don't love every song, but the album overall is really enjoyable and I think Snoop's awesome! All his transformations have been pioneering. He even was on the L-Word where he essentially played himself but under the alias "Slim Daddy" - he's the bomb, let him do whatever he wants! (and any other artist, for that matter)

This album is awful. In all ways, awful. Gin & juice has no part in reggae. Anyone who is actually "into" reggae will agree. No spirit here. It's a "stoner" with money deciding to go Rasta, to make more $. Go buy: Michael Rose, barrington levy, Vybz Kartel, Natural black!! Snoop lion is a sham.

I really dug the rhymes Snoop Lion preached, if you get over some of the rap inclined songs, the album is pretty good. I love my reggae and that's why I can relate and understand the lyrics, but the beats behind it doesn't necessarily complement Lion's words. Busta Rhymes; great rapper, just stay away from reggae please and don't try be something you're not (i.e the fake jamaican accent on track 14, "Remedy?").

If you always loved Snoop and you love Reggae music .. You need this haha I was hatin too at first but my friend gave me this cd and honestly its good! Snoop all the way! :-)

Snoop's album has some good songs with strong messages. But, there are some songs that, in my opinion, aren't form of a reggae song. That's the thing that I didn't like about his album. In addition, there's too much featurig and this ruins some songs. In overall, this is a good album if you like to support snoop, but for real fans of his 90's stuff, you'll didn't like very much his album !

After listening to the stream, I was hooked. If you're looking for some gangsta hip-hop, look elsewhere. Reincarnated is a beautiful album, showing Snoop Lion's peaceful, mellow side. The tracks are deep and heartfelt, and best enjoyed with a pound of weed and a beanbag chair.

Most songs have more of a reggae vibe than his usual hip hop albums, but I have every one of his albums and I can see this becoming my favourite. Great to hear Collie Buddz feature in it, also one of my favourite artists. Fresh new style, great work Snoop Lion.

at first i was a bit unsure about what to think about 'snoop lion' but this album is great with its reggae with appearances from various rap artists its set to please

Most people will say this is bad without listening to it. But it's good reggae. If you're a fan of Snoop but haven't listened to reggae before though I wouldn't recommend it.
