Love the way he changed from rap to reggae
I think it is a Good Album good job snoop
I love snoop... I respect his life journey and really want to love this album. Watching the documentary on this album made all the music make sense. (It's on Netflix and worth a watch) but I can't honestly say I would play any of these songs all the way through.
I feel like this i like Eminem tryin to sing rock music..although no guns aloud does sound cool
Listen to Chronixx. That's the real Rastafari and only 20 years old making his mark.
Garbage, old snoop dogg is great, this, not so much😑
THis album is incredible. I found out about it through a friend, and i only hope to past it along to others.
"Mr. 187 on an undercover" became "no guns allowed" this proves people can change Anybody can see the light great album can't wait for more!!
In my top 3 of albums in 2013 I love the new Snoop Lion and I can't stop listening to this album!
Much respect to you snoop
These songs are garbage you wanna be Jamaican
I think to fully enjoy and understand this album you have to watch reincarnated the movie, Not only because it is a good movie but it also does give you the backdrop for the setting of this album and how much snoop really did want this album to be a REGGAE album, he got "bunny wailer" to do a track and got his Rasta blessings for the whole album. Snoop will always be great man, 90's gangsta rap or 2010's reggae music, the man loves what he does, so just sit back, pack a fat bowl and enjoy the ride
I watched the documentary and and was so in love I had to purchase the album. I'm so happy that snoop went through the changes he did this album is too legit. Smoke some herb and turn it up!
Just awesome
Believe in peace believe in evolution believe in reincarnation ! 5stars we all evolved into something different you can be born again too.
So, Ashtrays & Heartbreaks is my favourite. Call it what it is, an artist going out, way, way out into the realm. Ugh, me love it
Just stop
I know the reason he did this changed his style I respect that 100% (number 1 fan)
Never cared for Snoop Dogg, couldnt even tolerate his music, or his persona, but I'm liking the Snoop Lion. Kickin back and loving life. I'm smilin with you!
Respect rastafari for life
Album of the year
I was very surprised Snoop changed his name from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion. I'm not a big fan of the name yet, but I like this new music he's making. It's a change in a good direction I must say.
Everytime you touch the mic its gold bro! Much love snoop!!!!
His music has changed so much and in love it I can't stop listening!
There are some really good songs on here! (Not all, but many) give it an honest listen and ill bet you dig several
I've like reggae for like a couple of moths but with this album and you movie, you've opened my eye and answered one of the most important question for my future "LOVE" and "PEACE". Good job on both and god bless you. 😃👍
No Guns Allowed is easily one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard! I and so many people in the world are grateful to have your music Snoop Lion!
thought this would be way worse than it is. its actually somewhat ok
This album is not suppose to sound like old snoop. I highly recommend watching the documentary (its on Netflix)…he explains why he went through this transformation as well as reflecting on his past. It's truly amazing that a rapper like snoop found his spirituality and is embracing it! I am so tired of hearing these mainstream rap songs about getting girls and making money. He is definitely an inspiration to young people and I truly appreciate what he's doing!
Never liked the gangster snoop, but LOVE the new more grown up & real Snoop Lion!!! It's a great story :) it's a great album! The good good wins me every time!!!
I wasn't really to excited when I heard about this album, but once I listened to it I actually liked it. Taking the different turn for Snoop on peace and love, he really succeeded, and in the songs in this album you can feel those lyrics come to life and the experience and story behind them.
This album is the best thing to happen to my life since the introduction of rang dipkin.
I just watched the documentary Reincarnated and had to listen to the music he wrote while in this spiritual journey I see a lot of people hating on him but I see a better person. This album has a deeper level, love struggle and peace... I honestly think music today has taken a turn for the worse there are songs literally about nothing and this album doesn't do that. Every song is a journey, every song has a deeper meaning this album is a glimpse into the spiritual journey of snoop dogg becoming snoop lion not the "reincarnated bob marley" as some think he is trying to be...
I guess all of you so called "fans" of Snoop Dogg don't actually listen to the lyrics, which expresses a powerful message.
It's not as bad as I expected it to be... I give Snoop Dog (Lion???) credit for making a pretty good Reggae album
Peace Love and Unity
One of my fav albums
I grew up listening to Snoop Dogg, Dre, Tupac, NWA in the 90's in Guatemala Central America. when I came to California when I was 16 years old it was like if I was a Muslim and went to Mecca, To be in L.A. after seen all that on TV I was like Dang! It was like a Christian going to Jerusalem. get the point. since I was 20 back in 2000 I became transforming myself spiritually based on personal experiences and re search I was doing at the time. looking at what happend to Snoop Dogg reminds me of how deep Personal Inner trasformation Can be and when it hits you it hits you for good. I am glad Snoop Lion reached that point in His life and I can totally relate to the music he is making now. I used to be caugh up in the hate mentality before but is been years now that I am in the Peace and Love vibe. I started practicing Martial arts and that helped me transform myself too. is funny how I look back 10 years and I feel like that was not the person I could have been. Now I feel I am in the right track and I found my mission in life! I can relate 100% with Snoop Lion. you have to feel it to understand it other that that you are just going to critizice it. Watch Snoop Dogg Documentay by the same name of the album "Reincarnated" you will get the message more clearly. Peace!
This is an amazing album! I love the new new snoop, he needs to come out with more!!!
Every song is my jam!! 👌
You're a studio man and I'm a Studio Man!! Great Movie to! :D
I absolutely love it. Watched interviews and everything and i support it 100%. I get why he did it and its inspiring. Snoop Lion! (I also love Snoop Dogg to, but im loving this Sound)
What a great album
Laughing out loud, some people are mad that they paid for reggae instead of rap
Best album i love every song in it and have been listening to it for a long time.
If you actually watch his documentary on his decision to change his life, it all makes perfect sense. Snoop is a genius!! Jah!
I like old snoop better not into this
Great album!! 👍👌✌.. and for those of you rating this album 1 star you guys should watch the full Documentary while they were recording this album You guys would understand everything about this album and where he got "Snoop Lion"
Snoop documented his journey to Jamaica and did it right, he immersed himself In the history culture and struggle of Jamaica. You can see how he feels a close connection to the streets and struggle of Kinston and Trench-town Jamaica coming from the streets of Long Beach. In the end he is baptized by the Jamaican elders... And he emerges as Snoop Lion. Check it out on Netflix. P.S. "Smoke the weed" is the shhhht
Amazing! Sympathy for the people that still want violence, hoes, Bugatti's and ignorance. A real OG recognizes their ignorance of the past and evolves to a better person.
