I think this song is a great one to come back with! Besides Pom Poms. They are growing up and experiencing new things!! You can't expect them to stay teenagers forever when there are 20+! I used to be obsessed with the Jonas brothers when they came out and everything. I still find myself going through my iPhone and putting the songs on shuffle. This song just isn't up to par compared to what they used to sing. I get they are older but it doesn't mean the music has to essentially go down the drain. This song is okay though.

I keep seeing these reviews saying that the guys aren't being themselves. How do you know? Are you them? They've grown a lot over the last three years. It's ridiculous to expect music like Fly With Me or When You Look Me in The Eyes or Burning Up from them after three years of maturing. They can't sing about crushes, Peter Pan, and whales in their pool forever, people. They're writing songs about their present, and in the present they aren't teenagers anymore. I love this song. I think it's a song that applies to our generation and age group. It makes me want to call up my friends and go find some crazy adventure or go on a road trip or something. It's catchy and actually pretty beautiful in it's own way. I think they're doing everything right and some of their fans are just stuck in the past. They're moving "forward together" and so am I. Their new songs are fun and smart and fit into the music industry as it exhists today. Deal with it.

Its so sad (and such a surprise!) that "First Time" ended up being the JoBros swan song. It seemed like this album was going toward a more refined adult pop sound, perhaps even garnering new fans. Hope everything works out for them in the future. I look forward to a possible reunion tour in 2020. :-P

I have loved the Jonas Brothers for about 6 years! I'm only an 11 year old and i love the Jonas Brothers!!! :) The only thing is, a lot of fans have left the JoBros and now like stupid 1D and Justin Bieber!!!! Being a fan since the beginning, I love this song. The difference shows the growth of maturity in their songs. I've been a fan of the Jonas Brothers for over seven years now and I was ecstatic to hear their new songs after their three year break. In First Time, and also Pom Pom's, you can hear how much they've grown as musicians and people and it's truly amazing how far they have come. Although their new sound is a bit different then what I fell in love with when I was younger, this new sound has made me fall in love all over again. I think some people need to realize that their music has grown with them so it won't sound like what they used to produce, but the quality will be just the same or even better. I can't wait for the new album, I can already tell it'll be great.

Having been a Jonas fan for eight years now, I was honestly upset when Pom Poms was released. I just sat there thinking, this is not the boys I know and love. But I gave it a few more chances, still, nothing. However, First Time was refreshing for me. I understand that its not like their old music- but they didn't want it to be. They've grown as musicians, and you can call it generic, but its kind of fun for me to see them writing about something other than pining after a girl or getting their heart broken. Having heard a good majority of the songs off the new album when seeing them in concert, I can definitely say I'm looking forward to the new album.

it's worth the money spending and l like the sound it's nice to hear them and all the brothers can sing together and it's good hope they have fun and just go for it… and it's amazing job you guys

I grew up listening to the Jonas brothers and I absolutely loved them! I had every cd, several posters, a lamp,sleeping bag and a blanket! I mean i really LOVED THEM! I really love this song because its different from all the others. Pom poms was good but this song is just breath taking to me. It just makes you wanna just sing with all your heart at the top of your lungs! And guys you've got to remember their not teenagers any more so their music style WILL CHANGE! But this has to be the best Jonas brothers song yet! Love you guys! Keep up the great work!
