he was very heralded and rightfully so but like everyone they get stuck as to what they believe what’s up to date and current...MJ is no different...the music here could’ve been on Off The Wall, Thriller & Bad. Not impressed sorry👎🏼
👌
Loving you (original version) is amazinggggg!!
A PLACE WITH NO NAME this please he may be died but we still remember him never forget him please
To be honest I was born a year after he passed but when I was 10 I always listened to his songs and I have been listening and I wished that I have always seen him in person Long live Michael Jackson ❤️❤️❤️
This album's audio quality needs improvement to rightfully earn a Mastered for iTunes status! iTunes people should take a look on this. Thanks.
People who don't like this album are people who can't admit songs that mj didn't release himself are any good. My 3 favorite songs on this album are 1. Place with no name 2.love never felt so good 3.Xscape Pease
If you have it anything but 5 stars KYS!!!
Sony is putting things out just to profit from it. The family hasn't approved any of it (regardless of their personal motivations). Michael was a perfectionist, if we had wanted us to hear this he would have. This material is NOTHING like the songs he finished and put out and was proud of. This stuff sounds like Sony just had a few producers put some electro beats and sounds here and there just to somewhat finish them.
I love this album and couldn't have spent my money on anything more Perfect!
I wish you were here, with us
Great Album
Great production honoring him!! Michael would of loved it :)
Smh, y'all better get up on it, 'nuff said!
Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is a great album!!
I’m basically obsessed with Michael I have like 5 posters I kiss them all the time and this album is number one! I have to say love never felt so good is one of my favs I love you Michael!
It isn’t that great but its MJ so Ill take what I can get of the greatest entertainer EVER
King of Pop is back he is amazing so to y’all haters that think that he is a bad guy so when you grown up and learn what actually good music is and what he went through in his life then you can judge him. Love you MJ ❤️💜😘😍
Words cannot describe the feeling that rushed into me when listening to this album. I will always miss the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. This album shows his powerful voice. Who knows what Michael would have done if he was still here with us. Rest in Peace.
I LOVE MICHAEL DONT EVER TAKE HIM DOEN FROM HERE 😭❣️
Whoever gave a 1 star on A Place With No Name outta be ashamed! That’s a 🔥 song!
wonderful album, this shows how range he was in different style and was testing out each one. Tell you the truth i only listen to the original tracks. For some reason his music can’t be touched and re worked on. Its to different and will lose the sound and motion. Great producers but doing that is like taking a red paint bucket and splashing it on mona lisa
❤️he still lives on!
This is a good album tbh 🔥👌
An exceptional album, which indeed took great time to but together for the true King of Pop rock and soul Michael Jackson, let the King continue to reign supreme even after death.
I love "A Place With No Name" and "Love Never Felt So Good"!!! Sooo good and catchy. Same with all MJ's songs. For a new MJ fan, buy the Thriller album first. But this album is awesome too!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
I hope Michael Jackson’s Estate drops more Albums like this

I love this album so much🤩! It’s got so many great songs. I REALLY LOVE, love never felt so good and Chicago and a place with no name!👍🏻😍🤩❤️(I really like the originals for some reason🤔)
❤️
Believe it or not, this was the album that got me into the fandom. I saw Love Never Felt So Good's music video on MTV one day, and I've been a Moonwalker ever since... And a very proud one.
I'm at work
Love Never Felt So Good is a great song - one of MJ's best. He had a good voice and the song is real music. It just makes me happy listening to this song.

It’s MJ and its new material its what you would expect from a genius of his genre a one in a generation musician, performer and entertainer. Unlike most artists MJ always gets you rocking in your chair or on your feet with original contemporary beats, brilliant vocals and energy.
Great song 🎶 love it so much Jackson is a great singer he is so amazing and awesome
Who else misses Michael? We all will remember him with his music that he left behind 😞😭💙
I love Michael Jackson. The king of pop
The thing about my feelings towards mj is love, care, happiness, and such fame and glory to him . The albums are incredible,I remembered when I was a child I used to cry to my mom and ask her if she would take me to one of MJ’s concerts when I was young and when I heard that the dangerous album had came I was shocked I told my mom I had to go to one of his dangle tour concerts ,she said no. It was my 16th birthday and I heard from my brother that mj would have a concert that night I was just about to ask my mom when I heard but my dad said I’ll take u it you bday Michael was in my country the country I lived in st.louise
I love the original tracks on this album I feel like the remixes are over produced Michael had it perfect the first time, don’t mess with perfection
This gets straight away my 5 star for releasing Michael Jackson unreleased material since his dismissal. Album has loads of Unreleased song and the best part is they even included the originals along with their own versions. In the re-mix version, I loved Chicago & Loving You which was done very well with lots of care compared to the originals which music sound dated. In original version, can't beat the original Xscape track which I think Michael nailed it, the remixed version of Xscape track is BS. Highly recommend this album
Love Michael Jackson. Greatest talent to ever hit the entertainment world in history, but this album is not that great. This is not his fault since he didn't technically make this album and never would've put it out this way. All of the 5 star reviews on this album were made by die hard fans posting about their excitement that there was going to be a Michael Jackson album. They didn't legitimately actually hear the album before they posted their 5 stars. You technically shouldn't be allowed to post a review unless it shows that you purchased the album. You certainly shouldn't be able to post a review on a product before it's been released. There is only ONE super fantastic song on this album. The first track. That sounded more like something Michael Jackson would put together. The rest was just junk. Once again, not a reflection on Michael Jackson as he didn't actually make this album or even approve its release. Blame it on the producers cashing in on Jackson like everyone else tried to do.
I like this song
Love “ Place with no name “ and “ Blue Gangsta”. Michael’s vocals are strong and plainly addictive to listen to. The new tracks are intriguing and live up to MJ’s legacy.
Amazing remastered song and they fit well

“Love Never Felt So Good” - I like both versions but the newer versions sounds more finished. Reminds me of “Off the Wall”. Timberlake’s vocals are distracting. TIE “Chicago” -Again, I’m swaying toward the new version as MJ’s vocals sound a bit more cleaned up. NEW "Loving You” - I like both equally. Sounds like something lifted off “Thriller. TIE “Place With No Name” - Again, both versions have their merits. TIE “Slave to The Rhythm” - I like both but the original sounds less busy. ORIGINAL “Do You Know Where Your Children Are” - My least favourite track on the album but I vote for the original. ORIGINAL “Blue Gangsta” - My 2nd least favourite track on the album but the updated arrangement edges out the original by miles. NEW. “Xscape”. The original version 'runs rings around the new versions. Could have easily been lifted off “Dangerous” or “HIStory”. ORIGINAL
Best ever
I also grew up with Michael Jackson and I am now 50 years old let Michael Jackson rest in peace and I also like to know how is going to reek the benefits any way?
OMFG!!!! ...I love Michael Jackson. I love his music and his legacy will live forever!
I love this album, has great songs in it.
Old style pop made contemporary. Love it!! True MJ music..
I shed a tear for some reason it just brought back so many good memories this album is excellent it brings Michael back into pop I love Chicago and blue gangsta and a place without no name these tracks are amazing and it's worth the price R.I.P Michael Jackson We will never forget you and your wonderful talent! 👑🎤
I have heard way better songs of MJ and i was really disappointed that they released a album when he's dead but the songs are ok a bit cheesey to me but i still like it 😆😆 MJ RULES!!
He was a perfectionest!!!!! my fab song in thos album is::: Love never felt so good!!!!!! Forever in our hearts!!!!Michael
Is Michael Jackson to become the new Elvis Presley? Elvis was hounded mercilessly for years after his death. Is Michael Jackson going to be treated with the same disrespect? RIP, Michael.
Love Michael's vocals in all the songs, if only he was still here with us today :(
Michael Jackson is dead, right? At least I thought he was. Just a question for the people who released this album, how did you record these songs with someone that is DEAD?! People in the music industry are getting way to obsessed with money these days.
I love this album, I praise L.A Reid and his team of producers for creating this magnificent piece of art. I would encourage any music fan to check this album out! Music like this should be widely appreciated and honoured. XSCAPE brings a true 21st century vibe to Michael! 5 Stars from me!!!
Love you MJ
Been waiting way too long for new songs! So exciting
I don't like the ones that are so obviously not MJ... His originals and the one exception of Justin timberlake who is the only one to come close to MJ's finesse...
I was never Michael's biggest fan. In fact, I didn't really like him. But I respected his talent as an artist. What I don't understand is why they are releasing songs of his after his death. To me, it's making money off him...because he's not getting it, is he?
Brilliant album! So refreshing to hear the King of Pops voice and style again. buy it.
Love this and the King of pop. Beats half the music that's out there
I love this album, every song is awesome, love all the remakes and LOVE all the originals! LEGEND!
One word: KING.. Just enjoy it for what it is.. Don't whinge.. Iam a big fan! Enjoyed it :)
If you truly love MJ you will appreciate any music he creates! The contemporized beats compliment his vocals whilst harnessing the MJ style ♥️♥️♥️♥️❤️
Ignore the haters. I am thankful for this reminder of his musical greatness. The world is colder without him and I am grateful that this collection is able to be heard. This album rocks.
I absolutely love this album, but especially the song a place with no name, it's just completely beautiful and the tune and everything, miss you king of pop 😔
If Michael wanted to release these songs, he would have done it whilst he was alive. Dogs.
I AM CRYING IN EXCITEMENT! THANK YOU FOR THIS SPECIAL GIFT TO US FANS!
Rip
This album seems more like a money grab, than a polished cohesive work. Michael strived for perfection, it's my opinion that he wouldn't have been happy they quality of this album. Saying that, it's just so good to hear him singing again. Honestly, I'd buy anything he sings, so I guess my original comments seem hypocritical.
Love this album
Love MJ!!! His music is amazing
What an album! Wow! MJs voice is sublime.
Not worth the buy, songs are unfinished and bad quality in structure, sound and lack soul... There's no heart in this album. 3 songs have been previously available on the internet for many years as leaks... So for 5 mediocre songs and lots of remixes you don't get a whole lot. Chicago is the only listenable song on the whole thing, but it sounds unfinished. Blue gangsta is awful, the original song with temperamental was already the best version, this version and the so called original are so bad I don't know why they even featured the tracks on here. As a long time Michael Jackson fan with all of his albums on CD and vinyl this is a real let down... Last album Michael was better than this and that was in many ways a poor release. This is another cash grab from sony
Finally an album that is worthy of MJ's talent. If you once used to be a fan, then this is the comeback call. A wonderful reconnection with the magic we all knew during Michael's best years of music! The high light track is A Place With No Name - Both the original version and the remix are impecible, Dancable and just down right catchy!
Love the sounds
I mean ... Yeah some of the 'contemporized' tracks; Love never felt so good, Chicago, loving you, saved the remixes but the originals are the best. Michael Jackson made them best not Timbaland. Thank you sony for giving the original included or otherwise I would only download certain songs . Thank you :)
There is no doubting the genius that was Michael Jackson, and the world lost an icon when Jackson passed away several years ago. Like many artists do, Michael Jackson often recorded in excess of 50 songs for each of his album projects, a list that would eventually be trimmed down to just 10 or so tracks that eventually made the cut on the finished product. That of course leaves alot of unfinished business lurking in Jacksons vault, and its only now after his death, that we are hearing some of the songs that never saw the light of day. Unfortunately, all this album really does is re-affirm why Jackson chose not to release these songs. Many of them just arent up to the usual Jackson standard. The standout track is "Love Never Felt So Good" and I am particularly a fan of the remix featuring Justin Timberlake, which I feel really captures that disco soul vibe of the "Off The Wall" period of Jacksons career. For the hardcore fans of Jackson, this album will be pleasant and will allow fans to discover some of the tunes that Michael had worked on during his career throughout the 80s and 90s, but for the more casual fans, there is probably nothing much to see here. Just prior to this untimely death, Jackson was working with Will.I.Am on creating the next album, and Will.I.Am has stated that the completed tracks they worked on, will never be released now that Michael isnt here to give the songs his blessing. While that wont make the fans happy, it does uphold Jacksons dignity and Will.I.Am is to be commended on his stance. One suspects these songs probably ideally, should have suffered a similar fate.
I only discovered MJ’s music after he passed away and I have since then called him my favourite musician. I do like this new music, however I feel bad in a way that he might not have liked this music being released, regardless I find this music very good.
This is the biggest cut a paste album I have ever heard. It's poorly put together. It's an album full of the normal MJ "Hee Hee's". Every song sounds the same. Auto-tune microphone work at it's best. You would be better of buying a Milli Vanilli album.
I can't believe that he has come back to life 😱😍he has the best voice and he can dance 😋😜😝 Love him😘
yes i love
I still can't believe he's gone! True king of pop forever! His music is just excellent even still while he's gone! Love you Michael xo
This is just the Record label(s) cashing in on Michael Jacksons death obviously people need money ,and record labels belive "GREED FOR A LACK OF A BETTER WORD IS GOOD,GREED IS RIGHT,no it isn,t PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS OR BUY IT IN STORES BECAUSE YOU ARE ENCOURAGING those at record labels that it is right. I did not even listen to any of the tracks!!!!
When u think of a name like Michael Jackson u think of Thriller, Dangerous, Bad. The sound, the magic, the over produced genius of Bruce Swedien and Quincy Jones and the elite level of musicians back then rivalled the best forms of artwork ever created in history. The amount of time and detail that went into those albums. With that said, its great to see new/old music from MJ's collection through “his” ideas of what was in his head and heart. Thats where the magic is in this album is. His creativity and ideas. What is not so good is the inappropriate use of music managers/producers etc which clearly have shown their idiocy and level of musicality throughout the new songs. The very average level of music produced and accompanied on this album is a very good study that is documented on this album (new versions vs old versions) for the world to see to why MJ only worked with the best the best of his choice and the reason why all his hits had the MJ Sound and sounded larger than life even to this day. This is why you use the best of the best. Not the average of the average as can be clearly heard and understood on the newer versions of these songs. You have to remember its MJ not Bobby Brown. This album deserved more than that. At the arrogance of financial gain and premeditated release to attract die hard fans alike, at least give the album the respect that it needs. I’m very glad they have released the originals where you can clearly hear the body of these conceptualised songs at a clearer more well translated level by the original producers who obviously had the right idea of what MJ wanted out of these songs as a finished product and who have clearly spent a great amount of years getting to know and study his genius to reproduce at very high level his ideas. This is why you "work" with an artist while they are alive instead of “guessing” what he would have liked. To be able to make music for an artist at the level of Michael Jackson without his approval or creative input is saying that you know what he wants it to sound like meaning you are at his level. Well its loud and clear where the level is when u listen to the old vs the new. Business and creativity will never mix nor will boasting and forceful politics to earn a name next to or on the album credits of a name like Michael Jackson. It would have been much better to just release the original instead of cheapening this album with very mediocre poorly mixed and arranged tracks. To have big name producers means nothing these days as they’re music is just based around making money from their name only since they have to rely on other people’s merits as displayed here to make “new” music since in this day and age of so much new talent they are not able to hold their own hence the use of these gentlemen we see in the credits. Executive decisions remain decisions made by the creator. This is why they are executive choices. The creator in this case is Michael Jackson. Who is the executive producer? One question why not get the original crew: Quincy, Bruce, Greg Phillinganes etc to make the new versions? They’re all there why not? I bet they did ask them and they said to just use the originals since that's where the magic was. Its obvious since most people reviewing this prefer the old vs the new so the proof is right there. Its all well and good to have a “modern” sounding album but modern music has a shelf life these days. Michael Jackson is history! Great album from a great artist. You are greatly missed in this world.
Love the album, but really?! Cashing in on Michael Jacksons' death is just absolutely atrocious!! SUCK MY LEFT NUT U RECORD PRODUCERS!! R.I.P MJ
WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
My favourite track was definitely Love Never Felt So Good. We miss you Michael!
i thought about buying this until i saw "slave to the rythem" on utube, and "Kaaatching" there goes my bank balance!
Everyone who grew up listening to MJ knew he was a perfectionist. He worked tirelessly on each and every sound of every song ever released. Some of the originals and demos in this Deluxe version of XSCAPE are musically more complete than some of the songs getting airplay today. That's how crazy and gifted MJ was/is. He created sounds decades ago that sound like they're from the future - when you listen to them today. Hats off to Timbalake, Dark Child and the crew. Their versions sound like deconstructed early MJ, with more pronounced vocals, mixed with a touch of their own signature sound. Wow. Just, wow. I'm impressed. The spirit of MJ lives on through XSCAPE. You can't please everyone in today's world, but this album has something for everyone. Love both versions of Blue Gangsta. Love Never Felt So Good is, pardon the pun, just so good. Great remix with JT. It's amazing to hear the music in Michael's voice alone. Overall, this is a more cohesive and well produced album compared to the last release, which lacked direction and soul. A previous reviewer here mentioned that there was a reason why these songs were unreleased, and it probably shouldn't have been. Well, it's here. People love it. I love it. It's now a part of the legacy that MJ has left for present and future listeners. If you're a fan, you're definitely gonna enjoy this. Worth the wait.
