I can't put into words how much I love this movie, and the love story between Augustus and Hazel. My heart melts whenever I watch the movie and the music is no different. Every song brings back the memories, and the feelings captured in the scene. It makes the tears fall down all over again!! Perfect music for this movie.

This soundtrack is one of the best from any movie I’ve watched before. Every single song has its own uniqueness and it was a pleasure to listen to each one. I especially liked Jake Bugg’s “Simple As This” and Birdy’s two songs. Just ethereal and comforting.

I am the biggest fan of the fault in our stars. This soundtrack is a perfect companion to a perfect novel. Ed Sheeran along with other artists like Birdy allow people like me the privilege of enjoying the book even more after listening to songs associated with a collection of my favorite portions of the novel. This cd is one to have on shuffle all day long.

THEY FINALLY HAVE GOOD MUSIC IN A MODERN MOVIE! While I'm Alive is a very amazing song. It's the whole reason I bought the album. But seriously the rest of the songs aren't too bad either. Not a waste of $ at all

Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous. I only want 2 songs from this album and guess what? ALBUM ONLY. You should fix that. You would make so much more money if they were able to be bought individually.

I was captured by the film, and I knew that I would be searching for the album once it was done. I've spent a few weeks listening to the music on spotify, but I'm one who likes to own the music I really love and to support the artists/projects I want to endorse. I will enjoy this purchase!

This fits the movie perfectly! 1/4 of the reason why they cried at the movie was the music. It’s so fitting!! I love The Fault in our Stars!!!!!

I almost never rate something five stars, I just don't because it's the absolute best but this soundtrack totally required it. I know people are upset about the whole album only thing but I just want people to realize how utterly fantastic the entire album is! Something else everyone should realize that it's not Apple that decides whether something is going to be album only it's the record company. They're the one everyone should be venting their anger at!

The only song that I so incredibly want is Ray LaMontagne’s Without Words. I believe they should let people purchase more of the album’s songs individually, especially Ray’s song.

I only wanted the version of "Not About Angels" that they actually played in the movie with the violin. Why would they sell a version that wasn't in the movie. Pretty disappointed.

It's a fantastic sound track but why not add in a song that's ACTUALLY named after the movie and perfectly fits the emotion and feel of both the movie and the book. Of course the song I am referring to is The Fault in Our Stars by Troye Sivian. The song focuses on how someone is desperately trying to hold on to a relationship and is telling himself not to give up on both the relationship and the inner war he is facing. "Don't give it up just yet, stay grand for one more minute."

I loved the book. I cried so much. These 2 girls on my dance team are dancing to Not About Angels by Birdie and I fell in love with the soundtrack. Still hoping to see the movie

A beautiful soundtrack

it's been almost 2 years since this album came out and i still love it and listen to it daily❤️

I personally LOVED IT. I think pretty much every song in the soundtrack ties in with the movie in some way or another. Brilliantly written both lyrically and musically, beautiful. Whoever put this together was genius. Most likely John Green himself, how cool would that be!? I think it’s definitely worth your while even if you have to buy the entire album. Good mix of slower and more upbeat songs so that the whole album isn’t one big crying fest. Fantastic.

First, I want to say what an amazing job everyone did at putting this album and the book/movie together. I cry every time and I DON'T cry. Well done. Second, I'm absolutely in love with Ed Sheeran, but has anyone thought for a second that maybe it's not all about the money!? This music was compiled to invoke a very specific feeling and if you don't want to buy the whole album, maybe you should rethink why you like the book/movie at all. It's sad that people can't appreciate an emoting with every fiber of their being and learning to appreciate the songs as they were intended. I'm glad you don't have the 12 dollars- because you don't deserve this album.

I don't mean to complain about the whole "album only" thing, but I feel very strongly about that as well as all of the other people who have mentioned this inconvenience. One does not simply label a Ray Lamontagne under the "album only" category. This really miffs me because he is so talented. And who wants to buy a Swedish Rap song for goodness sakes??
