Lupe Fiasco is definitely the most legitimate rapper in the game today. He raps about things that matter and problems that are plaguing our society. Sadly, that's exactly why his music is overlooked and underrated because no one wants to hear the ugly truth. I've been a long time fan of Lupe and have always liked his work. In my opinion, this is his best album yet! My fav song is "Deliver" and I love the collab with Ty Dolla! The whole album is simply incredible!! Lupe is a lyrical genius and his music is truly inspirational!!! It will be a sad day in history when he retires :(

This is everything I expected from Lupe and more. Multidimensional. Brilliant. This may be my favorite album of 2015.

I think Tetsuo & Youth is Lupe's strongest work to date. The album is fun to listen to, even as Lupe pushes himself to write complicated verses, use a huge variety of samples, and play with song structure in surprising ways. It's definitely worth buying if you want to hear a rapper try to reinvent the meaning of a "rap song" or "rap album," especially when many of the top rappers today seem to have run out of ideas.

T & Y IS TERRIFIC! The album has 4 seasons-Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Each season has a different mood and I have found myself many times looking to listen to certain parts of the album depending on my mood. Sometimes I'm in a fun blur my hands mood and sometimes I'm in a deliver mood. I usually can pick my favs from an album but my answer can change on this one, again depending on my mood. All good!

Years ago I purchased Food and Liquor, and by far it was one of the best hip hop albums I had heard. Didn't check for Lupe too much since then...until now! This is hands down one of the best hip hop albums in a long time. I can play this in its entirety on repeat. Can't think of another album I can say the same thing about. The production so solid and so balanced with his amazing lyrics. "Mural" is one of my faves. It's over 8 minutes long. Lupe's bars are endless. When was the last time you got 8 minutes certified hip hop. In a time of singers trying to rap and rappers trying to sing and get street cred for doing dumb ish, Lupe saves hip hop from itself. He's gotta be in your top 5 of living emcees. I can see why Mos doesn't want to battle! ~IzzyMaal

Mural is the most lyrical song in this album, so many double entendres. Mural is more lyrical than any song in Kendrick's To Pimp A Butterfly!!! :)

To be honest this album has its own vibe that is somewhat not like anything Lupe has put out previously but I highly respect Lupe for going towards this type of hip-hop music and like he said this is his masterpiece album and I agree 100%. To sum it up in a few words this album is amazing highly recommend it, best thing since "The Cool".

Lupe Fiasco is one of the most witty, creative ingenious artists of all time. His word play is rare and his approach and insight to everyday issues is incredible. Lu said that he was not dumbing down this album and all I have to say is thank you. Every time I listen to this album (forward or from the reverse), it gets better. There is so much content and so many messages in a single bar. You have to listen many times because you will miss it. Every track is great and flows perfectly. I know the word "classic" gets thrown around loosely now a days (i.e. TPAB) but this is exactly that. Lupe Fans will appreciate this album. This was needed. Artwork at its finest.

I love this album, especially the song "Dots & Lines".... Took my mind to another place and created an undeniably vivid picture with this one. Too bad I couldn't give it ten stars. This album is so slept on. Best album of 2015 hands down haven't heard anything this potent in years.

I'll admit I didn't know lupe dropped a cd this year. And I forgot about food & liquor 2. I liked F&L 1 and the cool, but something about lasers turned me off to him. Lol, I've been listening to Lupe forever, and have been listening to this album on the day it came out. Can't believe I only got enough itunes credit to buy it today, would've bought on the day it came out. Once again, Lupe mixes good beats with solid lyrics and meaning. Keep up the work!

the sounds and meaning behind each song have value to any person. the moment you understand the meanings of each song, you can feel the change. Lupe is brilliant, and this album is defnitely worth the listen.

You know an album's great when you can't even get to past the first few songs because you're constantly hitting repeat. Every track on here is great, it's what an album should be. Lupe got the perfect balance between the lyrical genius he's known for and incredible, diverse production. This is Lupe's last album with Atlantic and he really went all in - this album is a masterpiece.

This Album is HEAVY. This and ' The Cool' are Lupe at his finest ! I Haven't heard an artist go that crazy on a beat than Lupe did on 'Mural' in a long time. BUY!

I'm quite mixed over Lupe's music, I always found Food and Liquor a bit over-rated, but The Cool on the other hand was a masterpiece, Lasers was again sorta weak but he was pretty brave in releasing Words I Never Said, and then I found Food and Liquor 2 very boring, the beats were the major letdown, as lyrically Lupe was still good Testuo and Youth is Lupe back on form, the guy clearly has talent but he's very focused with his lyrics now and the production feels far more fresh, I'm glad he left the 5 or singles he released since 2013 off this album and went for new material as I wasn't a huge fan of most of the singles except Remission which featured Common and probably could have worked on Tetsuo and Youth

The moment this album dropped it has been rinsed several times and still needs further re-spins. (in a digital manner of course.) The creation of this album is perfect in our internet and information rich age. Many of the song have surfaced bits of knowledge buried in mind from the numeral articles read and conversation engaged in. Not many artist can claim to have such an effect to their audience. First half of Prisoner 1, contains a distracting violin chord that I have heard in Garage Band and in several youtube intro videos. If you have never heard this chord then I envy you. Such a great album, should be purchased and enjoyed. (even though I’m strapped for cash and counting down until payday). Enjoy!
