Yesterday I started downloading this fantastic album track by track &, to be pleasantly honest, The Commander-In-Chief has broadened her musical horizons by taking her heavy metal virtuosity back to its classical roots; and she's not alone on this new journey This time with Australian classical guitar showman Craig Ogden, "2 Guitars" is aptly titled because it teams them up for a superbly diverse work which includes pieces by Gardel, Paganini, Saint-Saens, Sarasate, even a piece by fellow Norwegian Edward Grieg & Finishing it off with a new & emotionally stripped down version of "Let It Go", a song she wrote about her brother's downward spiral because of bullying & which is also the last track on her 2012 debut E.P. "Evolution" Marvellous production darling C-I-C; now please do us fellow Metal-heads a favor & return with a REAL Shredding album next
I bought one song, then three, then completed the album. I didn't appreciate all the songs at first listen but they quickly grew on me. Now it's become my favorite album. Both guitarists are extremely gifted!
