The whole thing is one big store and the movie for the second album is so weird but now I want to see it again. Love the book that goes with the first album.

I love how the album tells a story about Crybaby, instead of just being a mix of songs. This whole album is such a bop, and totally worth the money! Lovely job, Melanie!

Wth!!!!! Melanie is soooo talented!!! I love the fact that this album along with k-12 goes in order in a story!!! It’s literally the coolest thing ever!!! These songs are sooo interesting to learn about because the meanings are sooo deep!! The titles are innocent baby things! For example: “Sippy Cup”. The title sounds innocent enough, however the song is talking about “Crybaby”. (Melanie’s character in the story) Crybaby’s mom is an alcoholic and her dad is cheating on her mom. The lyrics, “blood still stains when the sheets are washed” is saying how even if you try to forget past things that happened they are there forever (trauma). Another lyric in the song is, “syrup is still syrup in a sippy cup”. The syrup symbolizes alcohol. This lyric is saying how even though something looks pretty and innocent on the outside on the inside it’s far from that. I love Melanie because all her songs have such cool metaphors for other things. Mel is sooo creative and she is an amazing poet and singer!! 100% recommend this album!!!

This was a great album about how she describes herself as, some of the songs like “Mrs.potato head” delivered a message about being comfortable with who you are. I liked the theme of this album.. best singer ever..

all of her songs are so honest and smart. she sings about so many important things other then love and all the other basic song themes. even though she has a few love related songs, she has her ways of making it her own and something you've never heard before. Give it a chance before you think it's weird, because really it's just different. and being different is one of the best things about this album.

I've always found that popular music just sounds the same and seems to only have lyrics about cringe-worthy love stories etc, but this album has everything you could possibly want in it! The songs about love in this album are actually AmAzInG, but it's not all that's in here! It's really an amazing album- please just buy it already!
