OMG this is superb. The Royal Philly clearly loved doing it as they've chucked everything at it and it's brilliant. I didn't need bubble tho. Steamroller Blues is a new one for me and it rocks. Burning love is a triumph, Trilogy brings a tear as does ghetto as always. Lets just say I hope the neighbours like it!

Just downloaded this after pre-ordering it in August and IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! Every song sounds so powerful and I actually felt quite emotional listening to his classic love songs Love Me Tender and I Cant Help Falling In Love as I would like to use one of these for my bridal entrance for our wedding next year!! Long live the King - Elvis!!

Fantastic album worth every penny an more

It does not get any better for Elvis lovers , the Kings sounds fantastic behind a full Orchestra ,some timeless classics sound even better. People will still be listening to E in times to come . Elvis never really did leave the building . You will love it *******

I really didn't think I would like this but wow it's brilliant. This album just gives a hint of what the King could have done had he not been taken from us so young. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

When I first heard about this, I was very sceptical about this Album, I didn't know how the songs would sound after they were edited and overdubbed.. I bought the Vinyl/CD Box Set and I can honestly say that normally I wouldn't agree with tampering with original songs/recordings, (Especially Elvis!) but after listening to this today, the songs on this album sound absolutely beautiful and gave me goosebumps listening to it! I would highly recommend this to any Elvis fan, or to anybody to buy this to get a feel and appreciate the best singer/performer/entertainer that ever lived! I will still say that the originals are still better than these recordings but the new ones are still amazing. Overall this is an outstanding album! This Album is currently No. 3 in the UK Charts as I wrote this and most definitely deserves to be Number 1! - Glenn Morgan - November 2015

'Burning love' is an unexpected brilliantly arranged opening track.....and one I can't stop playing and frankly worth buying the whole album for simply for this song. The whole album is enthralling and the orchestral arrangement and accompaniment is a wonderful and tasteful compliment and new twist by the RPO to the unique voice of the one and only Elvis. I'd certainly like to hear more of this.

Legendary album. So powerful

A gem: a masterpiece of combining simply... The worlds best.. This takes the music of the Elvis Presley to another level... It is truly beautiful to hear Elvis's magical voice accompanied by the worlds finest orchestra!!! I was in awe, after the first 30 seconds of track 1!! I Bought the album immediately after listening to this short sample....I just hope that further albums may be released combining the two worlds best vocal and musical entertainers.... Over produced and taken away all the real atmosphere of Elvis. He will be turning in his grave at Gracelands.

This album is nice but...why? Some of the songs sounded beautiful as they were. Burning Love always sounded raw but now sounds too polished. I can't hate it because most of the songs are classic and timeless but I can't seem to love it either.

Am always pleased when a new release of Elvis arrives - this one is a classic - the King's amazing voice accompanied by the full orchestra is superbly produced. So so much to enjoy in this album.

Just listened to the first track burning love and was blown away by the RPO working their magic with the violins and fiddles creating havoc in the background & the lyrics supplied by a man who had his throat kissed by angels, great job, great mix, long live the King ❤️❤️

This is too much about the orchestration and not Elvis. The arrangements are not sympathetic to his vocals. Don't like it at all. An insult to the King

Just bought the album, I have listened to it twice now straight through because it is such an amazing sound. Elvis always sounds great, but how he would have loved the orchestration that accompanies his voice. A superb new Elvis album, well done.

Great album, but why spoil it with Buble?

There'll never ever be anyone to match Elvis. Grew up listening to him thru my childhood in the back of my dads Wolesley in the 70s and now in my forties, his music is still playing. Never ever dates, he's still adored by all generations. Challenge anyone not to cry buckets at the last two tracks. Awesome album with Royal Philharmonic, as we remember the King. Thinking of Priscilla and Lisa Marie.

Just listened to this album, not impressed, cheap attempt to open Elvis up to the wider market, which is not needed. One album I will never buy, it's so wrong

Good idea—hear once then revert to the original m’thinks. Only real real fans will buy this. The string mix is held so far back it is sometimes unobtrusive. A proper mix engineer would have wacked plenty of echo into “Lovin’ feeling” and “Bridge”—that might have made a difference. Giving “loving’ feeling” a serious spector string feel might have shot this into the singles chart too?but not this version. A lost opportunity

I was listening to Radio 2 with my dad today and they played a track from this album. A must for him to have and I loved it!

Phenomenal singer & greatest orchestra in the world blended together to give probably the best album this year. Thirty eight years since his untimely passing & he's still musically very much alive & on top of the pile again. This is a fantastic album enhanced by RPO. Thanks

awesome album u never know that this isn’t how they were recorded. i have seen the elvis live show in wembley twice and could only imagine how this album would sound live performed the same way.

I have listened to many many Elvis tracks, each one perfect in their own way but this .. this album really has blown me away. The orchestra matched with his amazing voice brings things to a whole new level, every song has given me goosebumps, something I only get with certain sounds when a song really works. Congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this album, I hope to hear many more in the future!

If only he had heard this …...- the sound of his voice mixed with the orchestra is just lovely - well done to the whole team who put this together. Its not over produced and enhances the quality of his melodic voice so well.

The orchestra can not match the emotion that Elvis feels in his songs. They also do not match his power they sound too gentle. The orchestra does not fit with Elvis at all and these recordings remove the essence of Elvis. The originals are perfect just the way they are cos they are exactly how Elvis wanted them to sound. This album would have been better as an instrumental album as it focuses on the orchestra and not on the voice, essence and the emotion/power of Elvis.

I was a bit dubious when I first heard about this "new" album, but after hearing a couple of tracks on the radio I decided to download the album, even though I already have all the songs on various CDs. And I have to say, I'm glad I bought this album. The orchestral backing on the songs that have been selected for this album is superb, and I have to admit, some of the tracks are better than the original. Some of these songs Elvis only ever recorded live in concert, but now they sound like Elvis recorded them in a studio. This is great album and has brought Elvis back to the top of the British album chart. Well done to all involved.

Play it loud. Magical.

All started with this man don't have to say anymore

Always been an Elvis fan as I should be as I'm proud to say we are related ( somewhat distantly - 7th cousin 1 X removed), but I actually bought this on the strength of hearing Priscilla being inteviewed and the passion with which she spoke about this project. Let's face it, it ought to work and it does. Once of rock n' rolls biggest performers and greatest vocalists in a marriage with the world's preeminent orchestra backed up by amazing production. Some of the songs are perhaps lesser known to the average Elvis fan, but they've been chosen with care and thinking about it, you do wonder how tracks like Blue Suede Shoes and Hound Dog would stand up to this treatment. They probably wouldn't but there are some notable absentees that surely would. Suspicious Minds, Crying In The Chapel and The Wonder Of You all spring to mind. Maybe they're saving them for Volume 2. I do hope so. The stand out tracks for me are Burning Love, Fever and American Trilogy but there are no disappointments here. Way to go cuz !!

Just treated myself to this - Elvis's voice is as beautiful as ever and with the adding of the orchestra it just makes this album something else - simply beautiful - no one can ever compare to his brilliance

This album is just absolutely amazing. Nobody since Natalie Cole has pulled this off in such a spectacular way. The RPO are just awesome, it's technically perfect and add in a passionately performed accompaniment by Michael Buble on Fever and you have one simply outstanding album. For years Elvis managed to make my spine tingle when I listen to him, this takes the pleasure to such a new level it really is hard to put it into words. Don't even think about it, just buy it you will not regret it for one second.

Cannot wait to hear all of these songs! Eyes closed, it's like Elvis is right there in the room with the orchestra! Amazing decision to make this album, perfect selections of songs!
