This album is incredible. I’m kind of a pessimist and new country hater as I hate how far it differs from the original “oldies”, but I have to say, this is killer. Jason Aldean is in his prime with this album.

I love Jason’s music and grit, but some songs on this album sounds like Florida Georgia Line. He deviated from his original sound for many songs. It’s a very edited and synthesized album for him. If you like that sort of thing, you’ll like it. If you like Jason’s country edge in his past albums, you may not like this one.

country purists crack me up with the "this isn't country enough" or " "is this what's passing for country?" Get over yourselves. I don't understand why the label is so important. It's a great album with catchy tunes. That's enough for me.

This is Aldean at his finest! Rearview town mostly ditches the gimmicky computerized sounds that all of mainstream flirted with in years past...and this album is like the best of Jason Aldeans growth over his career all blended into one album. Some songs make me think of “the truth”, some remind me of “night train”—it’s just an awesome blend of great stories, unique sounds and melodies, and overall terrific country music. 😎👍🏼

Were some of these songs on the last 2 albums? Maybe not...could've just been common story lines. Oh I know what it probably is...it's the cliches & imagery, and basic lack thereof, that I recognize from 80% of his records, line after line after line. That's it...figured it out. Nevermind. But in all fairness I only listened to it once all the way through.....or was it 10 times? It just sounded so familiar that I can't tell.

As a Texas music fan, this JA album is great. It's got some angst, which is missing in pop country more so, the melodies, to me anyhow, feel new and different yet still Aldean, turn it all the way up, it'll make you wanna ride real fast, middle finger in the air...

I’ve been a Jason Aldean fan for a looooong time but lately his music seems like he literally sits in a liquor store to write his music. Get back to (Wide Open) and steer clear of this country pop/rap Florida Georgia Line crap. There are far more things to sing about then liquor drinks and dirt roads.

I've read where jason said they only release 4 song for singles for each record even thou some have had more. here is my predictions for singles am i going with possible six 1) you make it easy ( a givin) 2) dirt to dust 3) set it off 4) gettin warmed up 5) rearview town 6) better at being who i am. time will tell.

Was so looking forward to this album, but, unfortunately, Jason's music is all starting to sound the same. Write some meaningful lyrics like Amarillo Sky or Fly Over States. Enough of the girl chasing crap. You are starting to sound like Luke Bryan.
