rockstar is a classic! Nearly every track is pretty nice. My only complaint, a little bland in the sense of not much diversity for my personal ears. So nothing I’ll come back to frequent. But it’s still a nice piece of work, just overall kinda has a similar vibe and sound each song, you can tell post is kinda staying in his comfort zone.

Was pretty let down with this album, I can really only vibe with two songs on this album in which case are the songs “stay” and “blame it on me”. These in my opinion are the only two that are original and not aimed towards the main stream listeners, these actually feel real and created with the heart not the pocket. All in all pretty disappointing.

I applaud Post Malone for making quality songs with wonderful production and lyrics. He was also able to keep a consistent tone throughout the album to not hurt his message. But, in keeping the tone consistent, every song sounds a bit same-y. This generally isn't a bad thing, but in an album of this size it starts to get stale by around track 7. The only songs which give the album variety and "save it" are the singles he released before the album... Unfortunate that there weren't any crazy surprises.

This album has a good mixture of chilled and upbeat tunes. Really is a good album. Is it better than his previous album? Psycho Blame it on me Stay Are the tunes in my opinion which makes this the better album. However, you can’t have one and not the other. Let’s go Post Malone! Onto the next album, I hope!

First off I don't get why all other reviews I've seen are from before the album was even released? I get being a fan but, that just seems daft to me. To be honest I wasn't feeling the first couple of tracks but, once I heard Takin Shots it really picked up and I enjoyed the rest of the album. Better now & Blame it on me are serious tunes! Again this is just first impressions but, from them alone I'd say it's worth a buy.
