Especially after knowing (now) all that she's struggled with since her last album, this had to have been the therapy she needed. I love this album. It sounds like she's singing from the heart, not jsut a song that was written she liked. There are a couple songs that aren't on repeat, but all the others are (for the most part). I like that she threw in "Southbound" for a catchier "Pop-ier" country sound that others ARE DOING AND NOT GETTING CRAP FOR and then there's "Kingdom", "Low" and even "Ghosts on the Stereo" which lean towards the original country feel.

Carrie, I love you and I want to be just like you for who you are as a person. Congrats on the 2nd baby. I am going to be at this concert in Seattle on May 24 my bday and can’t wait. This album is the most versatile album Carrie has put out. From her roots in country with “Ghosts on the Stereo” and “Kingdom” to catchy pop tunes with “End Up With You” and “The Champion” to R&B with “That Song That We Used to Make Love to” and “Backsliding”. Then there are the controversial songs of “Love Wins” and “The Bullet”, which just show that Carrie is not confined to the conservative country. “Spinning Bottles” and “Low” show her emotions so well. “Cry Pretty” is just powerhouse vocals that Carrie has always been known for. This album is my favorite of hers.

I was afraid I would hate this album, but in reality there’s only one song I don’t care for: End Up With You. Carrie has such a wide range of vocals and she’s like a chameleon with her voice. She is very impressive. I’m a huge fan since I first saw her audition on American Idol all those years ago. That being said, I hope she goes back to her country roots.

Hands down one of her best! Each album Carrie releases gets better and better! I’d give her 10 stars if I could. There’s so much feeling in these lyrics and the sounds she’s helped produce are full of vibes that you can move to. I’m constantly tapping my toes or grooving to these sounds! One of the best female country artists in my opinion!

This CD is the BEST she has put out since her early "Jesus Take the Wheel" stuff....every song I love and a couple of songs I relate to personally.. I haven't liked much of her music since the early stuff but this one is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!

I have loved all of Carrie’s albums and have gone to see her numerous times on tours, but this album has so many amazing songs on it. Every song elicits a response from me. Maybe it’s the fact that I also sing and write, but this album is probably my favorite one because it seems like the most personal of all of her albums so far. I will continue to keep buying her music and going to see her as long as she is in the game! She is an amazingly talented young woman!

This album is absolutely beautiful! I love how some of the songs have a more country flair to them and others are really upbeat sounding. They are all well balanced with each other. My favorites are: The Bullet, Kingdom, and Love Wins. (And all of the others)

That is my favorite song on this album, but the description of the song up above the songs on the album have it all wrong. See, when she is talking about how we have to love each other, and how we are all sisters and brothers you know that’s a reference to her Christianity and faith. I don’t get why they are saying that she is talking about the importance of gay rights! (Respectively) That song has absolutely nothing to do with that!! All I’m saying is that the description of the song messes up the true meaning of it.

Love Wins is my favorite song ever. I am your biggest fan Carrie! I wish I could go to your concert.

This was not her best album. Blown Away and Storyteller are way better. Carrie’s strength lies in storytelling and a lot of these songs missed that. Her voice doesn’t fit some of these songs. Yet for some reason, End Up With You ended up being my favorite.

What can I say about Carrie's 6th album and one of her best she's released there isnt one bad song on the album there are a few that arent as great as the others but it's still amazing...my song review 1.Cry Pretty The Song We all know her lead single and title track and one of the best vocally on the album Still can't get over the vcals holy wow one of the best 9/10 2.Ghosts on the Stereo Talks about having a party with three country legends Hank Haggard and Jones and It is by far one of the best tracks on the album and it is country 8/10 3.Low The best track on the album it's country bluesy and rocking all at the same time this song has to be a single !!!!!!!!!! Again the raw emotion on the vocals on this song are incredible 10/10 4.Backsliding this song wasn't one of my favorites at first but it has really grown on me and it gets stuck in your head and very easy to sing along definitely more Pop but still good single potential 8/10 5.Southbound the party song like Mexico and One Way Ticket it talks about pontoons beer and margarita's something you'd expect from Kenny Chesney...It is a great dance tune or a car road trip song and definatley a different tune from Carrie 9/10 6.That Song That We Used To Make love To I think it is my least favorite track on the album it's pop and very repetitive will I listen to it yes cause it's Carrie and shes beyond amazing is this my favorite track no 6/10 7.Drinking Alone Now we get into the second half of the album and the better tracks and I actually love this one it's got a r&b feel and a sexy Carrie 8/10 8.The Bullet Oh my gosh what can I say about the Bullet it is perfect for what this world needs now and I hope it is a single its so emotional you will get goose bumps 10/10 9.Spinning Bottles think Wasted and Blown Away talks about the abuse of Alochol.. Her voice is so emotional on this song 8/10 10.Love Wins the second single and it is incredible another song with a great message saying we all need to love eachother 9/10 11.End Up With You the most popish song on the album not one of my favs it is a love song 7/10 12.Kingdom a Sweet song about family that I can tell Carrie is proud of and it is so sweet and angelic a must hear 9/10 13.The Champion I know people have mixed feelings about this song being on the album but I for one love it and so glad it's included I think its the perfect ending to this album it is different but then all the songs on this album are different....and It is such an impowering song about being the Champion perfect ending 10/10 Overall I give it 5 stars cause it is one of Carrie's best albums my reccommened tracks are Cry Pretty Low Backsliding Southbound Drinking Alone The Bullet Love Wins The Champion

I love Carrie Underwood & this is her best album yet in my opinion! I love every song except for The Champion. I loved the concept but thought it came off corny. But every other song on this album is a total hit to me!! She smashed it out of the park!!

Carrie definitely put a lot of work and dedication in to these songs for her fans and I truly appreciate that.... I have two favorite songs and I cry during both of them because they are so powerful and emotional but truly amazing.... if you don’t buy the whole album you should definitely buy Love Wins and Cry Pretty!
