Days in the East by Drake Song Info
Only one day after releasing the subliminal filled rap record “Draft Day,” Drake is back to owl hours as he released this record in the middle of the night via his blog. He cryptically sings about a girl in his life who he holds dearly despite past issues. The song samples a line from Rihanna’s song “Stay,” which is funny because the song is presumably about her, but who knows? On August 2, 2019, the song was re-released after Drake dropped Care Package on all major streaming platforms — a project he describes as “some of our most important moments together available in one place.” The release comes nearly six months after Drake re-released his breakout mixtape So Far Gone.
