This album is healing power. Absolute food for the soul. Very therapeutic. We need more music like this for our youth to listen to and less violent music like Eminem promoting school shootings and joking about the Manchester bombing.

Had it on repeat since release

came out just in time for a lot of people like myself who found themselves swimming after Malcom’s previous release, only to end up swimming in circles in the “ocean of life”, as Malcom painted it in Swimming. Rest easy King.

The realness/ raw, stripped sound while having this soft touch tone to Mac’s voice is unbelievable. It’s so sad that artist are shining more after death these days then while they were still here with us. 💔⭕️👑

Timeless and memorable album, especially if you’ve been or are going through hard times yourself. It’s not a happy album by any stretch, it’s actually very lonely and despairing at times, but it’s relatable. It might take a few listens to “get it,” but once I did, I couldn’t stop listening to it. Jon Brion did an amazing job finishing the album. Mac expresses a since of bluntness and vulnerability on this album that was only really only scratched on in Swimming.
