Definitely the best Album The Killers put out since Battleborn. The keyboards in Caution and My Own Souls Warning are very well done and the U2 sounding riffs in Dying Breed are fantastic. While I love this album I still don’t think The Killers have written their masterpiece album just yet. If Brandon can somehow get Mark and Dave in a room with Ronnie (without killing him) I think the band could work wonders for their next Album. I think Brandon should do everything in his power to make the next album after Mirage their Grammy award winning masterpiece. They have the potential, they just need to unlock it.

Brandon Flowers continues to write/compose/sing soul anthems that seem especially written for me and my life experiences. The sound is a great mix of 80s and modern while avoiding the overcomplicated bungled noise of today's music. Well done.

i don't like the 80s vibe why can't they just go back to Hot Fuss and Sam's Town days...

"Imploding the Mirage" is a stunning return to form for The Killers. The one-against-the-world Americana drama. The throbbing basslines. The giant hooks. The bare vulnerability. The ridiculousness. The bombastic anthems. The stadium-ready breakdowns. It's all here, and it's the best thing The Killers have created since "Day & Age."

Huge Killers fan but not afraid to acknowledge when they misstep as I think they did a little on Wonderful Wonderful. WW: had some really good songs, some I thought were not so good, and just missing something. ITM: Think every song is very good to great. Album one of their best at really working when listening as a whole rather as individual songs. That being said: Give it a few listens before you make your judgement. Start with the last song (title track). I really think it’s one of their best ever and should be added as one of there permanent staples in concerts going forward.

Words can’t explain the joy this album has brought to me. Listening to the first four released songs for hundreds of hours at a time....and the entire album...it’s finally here!! And it didn’t disappoint!!! The Killers are back baby!!!!

If Brandon Flowers is the blood, Dave Keuning is it’s beating heart that makes that blood flow. Battleborn was apparently their last hurrah. Keuning’s solo album had more heart and soul in one song then this album has in its entirety. I say this as a fan and their ship has sailed. Do yourself a favor and skip this album, I regret the purchase as a fan since their inception. RIP Killers.

I love everything that the Killers produce! Sure their old stuff is better, as is the same with every band, but they are still relevant and one of the best bands out there. Side note; the iTunes description of this album is incredibly inaccurate.

Been waiting for this, very happy! The guys are sounding great and it is SOooo good to hear Brandon’s unique voice! I can hear a smile in his voice. So nice and needed right now. Now for this pandemic to end and a tour to begin! Looking forward to seeing them live again.

The Killers come back swinging with 2020’s Imploding The Mirage. Opening with the grandiose yet personal My Own Soul’s Warning and Blowback transporting the listener to a new world. Dying Breed, Caution, and Lightning Fields add to the epic atmosphere with gorgeous melodies and powerful lyrics. The Killers aren’t afraid to be honest... or lighthearted as shown by Fire in Bone, and the final track Imploding The Mirage. The high point of the album lies in final few tracks such as Running Towards A Place, My God, and When The Dreams Run Dry. This record is unapologetically energetic and optimistic and will leave you with a bounce in your step, and a newfound sense of courage to face the world with a grin on your face. A breath of fresh air in musical landscape that is oftentimes crowded with sounds of doom gloom.

These singles are seriously great. The Killers are among the most consistent bands out right now.

First off, good job! Secondly, what?! How has no one reviewed it when it was released?!

This isn’t a The Killers album, Caution had a chance, but the rest of the songs... man, they are so slow and Brandon sounds so monotone. Even Ronnie’s drumming is slow and sounds like he doesn’t even care. Really sad and disappointed to have waited for so long for such a lame result.

I don't want to beat a deadhorse here but the only negative to me is Dave and Mark are not on it so to me it's not a true Killers album BUT if they don't want to play for various reasons you can't do much about it. That being said I think it's a great album that is a mixture of mainly The Cars meets Tom Petty if that's possible? For an established band usually at this point in their careers they just phone it in and you can tell the effort is there and bringing in new producers and sets of ears keeps The Killers music fresh which is so hard for an established band but they'd done it with great results here.

Opening track is epic, love it!! Love the rest of the album too now that it downloaded, like Christmas in August!!! After seeing these guys on BBC at Glostonbury I am on a mission to see them live.

Great lead single and a great album.

Well deserving of five stars, there isn't really a bad song on the entire album. This is one of those albums you can just put on the car stereo and cruise down the highway with. Musically, the Killers have completely emerged from the creative doldrums they suffered a few years back. This is their signature sound with all new songs and, lucky us, just as singable and fun as ever. Buy the whole album...now.
