Well my favorite song from this album is diamond but to me, I like the old ones better what I suspect. I say it’s not boring but I hope it changes life. What I wish for is the happy and sad song that gives me luck from the life training.

I really love how Sam tried to do a slightly different style of music this time. His voice sounds ever so wonderful on the more pop-styled grooves. I also really like that even though he changed his style, the songs are still meaningful, emotional, and lyrically beautiful. This is definitely his best album yet!

I was excited to see what the album would be like after hearing Dancing with a Stranger but It makes sense to me now why Sam is trying to drum up attention for himself with pronouns and his identity because musically it looks like he has nothing left to offer.

Sam’s voice is obviously incredible with a huge range, but I find the high pitch pretty whiny and hard on the ears. Unfortunately, most of this album is super high pitched. Bummer for sure.

Sam Smith has written an album that spoke to every facet of my being. This album moves like an ocean in a storm, and sweeps your feelings off their feet. The main track, Young, is an absolutely intimate song. They have accepted themselves and will not take criticism to their core. My Oasis is a hypnotic love song for those who have found their twin flames. And absolute jam to dance to. For the Lover that I Lost is a tsunami of memory and reminiscing on the past love with somebody you truly connected with, and as someone who felt this, I was shaken to my core when the lyrics filled my ears. The title track, Love Goes, is a musical endeavor like a glass of wine; the flavor goes deeper than a simple sip. Labrinth’s production for the song is absolutely phenomenal and their voices mixed so well. This album is pop perfection.

When you need to feels something and no idea how to express it just wait for Sam to show you the way!

Every artist needs to evolve to remain relevant and current. You can’t deny this raw talent and these vocals are on point as always. I absolutely love Sam Smith, and I much prefer listening to their voice than all this garbage rap in the charts right now. Nice to have you back Sam! Your doing great!

I notice the majority of reviews of this album were written before it was actually released. Not sure how you manage that unless your basing your opinion on a couple of pre-released tracks. Whilst not filled with as many stand out classics as their previous albums, I really like this. I think it’s more of a slow burn. I find myself keep going back to it.

Always loved Sam’s music, it’s a good album, couple songs not quite sure on but the more you listen they grow on you.

I love this album, this is supposed to be about reviewing his music, most of u seem to think u r here to judge his lifestyle choices! Get on with your own lives and leave him to make his own choices! U have your choices, he has his! Why do u think u have the right to dictate how he lives his life?

Im truly shocked at peoples thoughts and ratings on this album. This album is beautiful and it is genuine and real. My favourite is Another One. My one thing i would say is to have more up-tempo songs but stunning nether the less.

There is an inventiveness and honesty in Love Goes that is reminiscent of the albums written by Paul McCartney and Adele when they’ve been going through tough times. Not everyone is going to like them, but over the years they are recognised as undeniable classics. This may be one of them. Try not to be put off by all the one star write ups. If you’re looking for a string of dance tracks then you’ve come to the wrong place. This is Soul Music and it certainly lives up to that. So buy the whole album and listen to it late at night.

Oh - I really wanted to like this more than I do. Not to be flippant to anyone going through mental health issues - I just want to say to them cheer up! First, I don’t like all the hate they are getting for wanting to identify as non-binary - anyone can be whatever they like so long as it doesn’t harm anyone. Second, however, I was waiting for some stand out tracks - anything - and well sadly it is a very ‘nice’, if down beat album. Beautiful voice (not everyone’s taste, but undeniably a distinctive instrument which they know how to use), great production values, but it honestly sounds like a collection of lovely ‘B’ sides (ok I am old I remember when there was an ‘A’ side and ‘B’ side of a ‘single’). I’m Ready is a great track and Dancing with a Stranger is good too... So... Sam - three stars - not two - not five - just three - I appreciate your talent just wish you’d pulled out some real bangers - maybe next time?

Insipid generic modern pop with trip beats. Like Arianas album this is ten a penny formulaic unimaginative unmemorable wallpaper Muzak. Avoid like the plague if you like nuance and intrigue in your music.

From the moment I heard Fire On Fire (Watership Down adaptation) I have been infatuated with their sound. Bought Thrill Of It All and followed Sam on the composition of their 3rd album, especially from the creativity of To Die For. Sam’s confidence has grown immensely. I cannot wait to play their CD on Christmas Day so I have purchased the download too. Diamonds, love both the acoustic and upbeat versions and Promises is a dream as is all of the tracks. Excellent album.
