I have been listening to Ava max for about a year now and I love these songs sooo much💖

She released this on my birthday, and what a treat it was! As her first full album, I think she really was able to capture attention with great lyrics, fun music, some artwork hooks, familiar samples and her beautiful voice. She won me as a fan, but I do have a few criticisms: I think she might have reached her sample limit. Some of the songs are too similar. The “retro” style that has came back into mainstream pop is becoming redundant. I would love to hear some fresh, original stuff from her. She’s put out some great singles since this was released, so I’m sure she will continue to grow her talents. Favorite Song: Belladonna, check out that whistle tone near the end!

Truthfully, I feel like a lot of the bad reviews on here are coming from people who see you shining girl and are SCARED.
