He has persevered through the tough times, followed his dreams, been honest with his convictions, faithful to his family and has demonstrated an unapologetic love for our creator. Puts out a pop album and literally calls it “Country Stuff” - I’m so confused.

This dude, he can’t sing at all. AND DONT COME AT ME SAYING I CANT SING BECAUSE I CAN! So this “Walker Hayes” should just ✋ stop.

“Fancy Like” is a great song, but the rest of it proves lazy lyrically and musically. An awfully uninteresting collection of mundane songs that simply doesn’t live up to the hype of one song. Feels rushed and unpolished. Pack it up you one hit wonder.

How can this be called music. This proves anyone can make a album whether they can sing or not.

Drinking Songs just came out and I already have listened to it to many times to count. It’s another hit for Walker and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Love all his music and when I watch how happy his family is on Insta it makes me wish I was a family member. Thrilled for the success he’s having.

I don’t understand why people take any energy to leave negative reviews on music. Our family is loving this new album from walker hayes! Catchy tunes! Our four year old loves dancing around!

Finally he has an album out, which I love 10 out of 13. I like his current sound/style. It’s also cool to finally see him get recognized for his work. The hard work paid off. So what if it’s not traditional country, it is country to me, with a lot of country elements to it with cool beats and the way he presents his lyrics. That’s why I gave it 5 stars.

Just because it may not be country, doesn’t mean it deserves bad reviews. I don’t see y’all making hits.

It’s been ages since I bought a country album, but after hearing “Craig”, I was sold. This whole album is solid vocals, creative lyrics, and sing along worthy. I love how family driven most of his songs are, especially all of the love for his wife. I know “Fancy Like” has become a love it or hate it situation, but Walker Hayes is so much more than just the whipped cream on top. Totally worth giving the rest of the album a shot.

First of all, ignore the haters! I was hooked when I heard “Craig” on Apple Music. Fancy like is a fun song. It’s certainly not the worst song ever BUT if you listen to some of the actual content his music has a lot of greatness. He just puts a catchy beat in the mix so it reaches more people and a generation that country music needs!

I’m still suffering brain damage from the few songs that are out, I might be in critical condition by the time these other songs are released. I have lost so my brain cells and my ears are bleeding from this not country music junk.

No one packs a song with clever lyrics like Walker Hayes. We've been huge fans of his ever since we heard his song "Face on My Money" back in 2016. There are lots of great singers in the world, but far too few great songwriters. We're so happy to see this hardworking singer songwriter finally get his long overdue acclaim and success. This album does not disappoint. Besides the incredibly catchy "Fancy Like" track that most of America has already fallen in love with, there's the follow-up single, a gritty groove called "U Gurl," which is sure to be his next big hit. Walker and his daughter have already come up with a dance to go with it and everything. My favorite track on the album is actually "AA," because even though he's tackling the serious topic of trying to avoid slipping into alcoholism, he does it in such a playful, humorous way. It's hard not to love this song. He's also got a more upbeat remake of his song Craig, which tells the touching true story about what his friend Craig does for him and his family. It's also the basis for his own charitable movement, "Be A Craig." You'll enjoy his trademark clever lyrics throughout this album, and especially in songs like "Drinking Songs," "Country Stuff," and "Briefcase." I not only recommend buying this album, but also going back and looking up some of his old gems from 2010 onward, such as "Pants," "Your Girlfriend Does," "Mama's Hot," "Pimpin' Joy," "Dollar Store," "Face on My Money," and so many more!

Don’t get me wrong I love me some traditional country, but this country pop with the contagious hooks and beats is also what I LOVE. Walker Hayes knows how to match feel good country music and those who don’t like it? Don’t listen to it! But for the millions of us who love it, it definitely puts you in a happy mood and I’ll take it!

Now this is how you deliver a debut album. Walker continues to take his inspiring story and turn it into equally moving music. Briefcase, What you don’t wish for, and i hope u miss me are highlights. The weakest song by a mile is the title track, but even that’s still a bop. Bravo, sir.

Even Dolly Parton will tell you that country music tells a story… this man has a story to tell. He infuses multiple sounds with “country music” to tell his story. ALL the greats have done it. Do your research haters…. Dolly, Johnny, Cash, Miss. Loretta, Elvis, Tanya, Reba, Garth…. Job well done Walker. Instead of hating, go educate yourself on this man’s STORY and the MEANING behind all of these songs. Oh! And if you don’t have anything nice to say… well, don’t. ; )

First of all let me start this review with saying fancy like is not the worst song I’ve ever heard sure not the best but definitely not the worst I hate hearing these people on these reviews say that this is not country those words have been done to death and I hate hearing it this is kind of why I’ve walked away from Texas country music almost completely because of these mean fans when I want to put a country album and this is the usual stuff I prefer so what just respect my opinion please.

I see a lot of comments as to this being country or not. Who cares? It’s good! He’s good! That’s all that matters to me! I buy & listen to what I like. I’ve loved his music since Craig! And absolutely loved You broke up with me! So happy he got his big break! He & his family deserve it! This album will top the charts! Wait and see!

I love that his songs are upbeat, clean, happy and just makes me feel good which is what I want music to do for me. I also love his connections with his family and how his kids are part of the team. Love this guy!
