I can hear the inspiration from pop girls before her (Madonna, of course, and Katy and Gaga) but it still has a new fresh sound for Ava. Banged after banger. Only thing is, I want to hear a more sad ballad! But, this album was mainly for clubs I think.

Never really tune into Pop music, but the catchy lyrics and beats were hard to ignore. Really great album. Will definitely keep and eye on this artist and her promising future.

Ava says Dancing's Done is the sond of her next phase- can't wait for it; That's my favorite song. I like Diamonds & Dancefloors, Turn off the LIghts & Last Night on Earth too. It's a beautiful and energetic album but not edgy or super interesting.

This album is probably going to be the best album of the year. I don’t think it can be topped. My favorite track is “Sleepwalker”.

This is perfectly acceptable for what it is. The production is really good and the beats are really good and the songs are mostly catchy. The things that hold it back is its consistency and its lack of features. Ava Max is a singles artist, in the sense that all of the best songs are the singles. “Maybe You’re the Problem” is indefinitely my favorite song by her. But the deep cuts on this are not as memorable or catchy as her singles and are pretty much filler. You could cut this album in half and it would feel the same. The only non-single on here worth listening to is “Sleepwalker”, which I really like. Also, Ava Max isn’t a very interesting vocalist, and I think she needs more features, because just her singing gets old fast. This album is okay. There’s plenty of stuff I like. But listening to it front to back is a just little exhausting.

I kinda drifted off from pop music but Ava has captured the magic of what made me love pop music in the first place. Meaningful but vibrant, production is balanced to where it doesn’t sound robotic. This album made me a fan she definitely deserves some respect as an artist.

The pop girls may want to get back in the studio to cook, for as of now it looks as though Ava is poised to take her place as not A pop princess, but THEE pop princess. Too many artists both within pop and other genres try too hard to reinvent the wheel and show off some niche aspect of their personality, whereas Ava simply gets in your face with the unabashed pop perfection that takes you back to the golden age of pop music. No faux introspection or feigning a sense of depth, Ava simply sought to write a breakup record that allowed the listener to get up and move like it’s their last chance. Diamonds & Dancefloors can be listed under the pop Bible category next to Britney’s Blackout, Gaga’s The Fame Monster, Carly’s EMOTION, and Dua’s Future Nostalgia. Ava should sleep well knowing her time to break into the mainstream had arrived, despite the many challenges along the way.

She is so underrated it’s so crzy, I wish she get more recognition for this body of work !!! 🖤
