This album was released when I was born. So I have been listening to Britney my entire life. I've always loved her. In my opinion this is one of the greatest albums in history. This is pop music. This is the Best Selling Album By A Teenage Solo Artist & One of The Best Selling Albums of All Time. This album is so beautiful and perfect. This shows exactly how talented Britney is. Everything from Baby One More Time too her duet with Don Phillip on I Will Still Love You. This album is a master piece.

This Album is amazing! It is truly art work, a masterpiece!! She has been fantastic since the beginning to Femme Fatale! She has a way of working that makes every other artist behind her. The best songs on the album, "...Baby One More Time" "(You Drive Me) Crazy" "Born To Make You Happy" "The Beat Goes On" some more mature songs like "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart" and the rest are ranked a little lower in my opinion but still genius. Britney Spears is a legend, named Pop Princess, moved up to Pop Queen. She has many followers that look up to her. Despite some of her moments that have happened when she was not messed up, but Confused. She is still a GREAT artist. And her getting past them bad moments shows her amazing Strength it shows her intelligence on what she needs to do to stay on top. She will always be the best, Shout out to Britney and the true fans like myself. A beautiful women creating history... The way this album is presented and selling MULTI millions of copies just as a teen. Reset the standards of other artists her style revolutionized the world of music. People watching her every step to figure out what she is going to do. She is an icon in music and music artists, fans, undiscovered music artists, and her "Haters!" Never forget she is what created Pop. 1999 was the year God put pure work on the limelight of music. Special thanks to Jive Records that supported her and let her release her music. :) 10/10 stars! I love this album it was my first CD I memorized the lyrics and over a decade later I still remember them all.

I wasn't even born when this album came out. I haven't bought any of the songs though. My faves are: (You Drive Me) Crazy ...Baby One More Time From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart Born To Make You Happy Sometimes Brit's new stuff ain't bad but I think this is better. I like her new stuff but I wish she would go back to this sometimes!

She showed her beautiful voice off and dance moves with this album and used her diafram to sing, unlike she does now (she is still amazing) this girl is a icon, a legend and praised by millions. How memories of my childhood come flooding into my mind. I havent heard this album in like 11 years and the second i hit play i was literally singing everything word for word and it just will always be one of my favorite albums ever. Im sitting here at UCSB just looking back at the clueless child I was and not really thinking about my future. Wow, its just a really nostalgic album I guess. Buy it and if youre barely coming across this album for the first time then listen to it and put it on repeat. Granted you wont be able to put the cassette on repeat in your car but still, just the greatest.

I remember receiving this album the year it came out for my 10th birthday. I was a huge fan. I still am I just listening to her older albums. I listened and memorized all the songs and I still remember and listen to them today to bring back memories. Even to this day I love this album! Even if you aren't familiar with her earlier work, you need this album! Amazing!

This is britney's breakthrough album and certainly redefined teenage/bubblegum music!! Brit's title track was a monster hit worldwide and helped turned her into a mega star!! Help the album sell 27 million copies!! Also you drive me crazy and sometimes are the best songs also from the album!! Britney is a superstar and set the Standards for teenage pop stars today!!

This is an example of an artist who's musical integrity is paramount. Who seeks lyrical excellence and mastery of her instruments that she plays....Psych! In truth, this is meaningless and pre-packaged pop for morons and perverts who like to listen to her come-ons and imagine they can get with her. And that's basically what she's overtly doing shamelessly. She's selling herself. It's as if she's a prostitute who's wears are much more of the visual and the auditory than the physical. Just a stripper who thinks she can sing, but can only do her best to sound like a feisty 12 year old. Like Hinder said in their most recent album in a song that was most direclty aimed at Britney: "you're a waste of a dance routine, you're nothing but a strip tease, because you know you can't sing." Most of these synthetic and artifical songs sound like a pinball machine as the "musician's" that are not Britney tell a computer to make pops and fake drum beats to provide a background for the songs that were mostly written by some sweedish dudes, but are all about Britney talking about her feelings. It's interesting that she is singing all these songs about her feelings, that weren't even written by her. So they're actually the feelings of mostly some Sweedish dudes. She doesn't sometimes run and sometimes hide, some dude named Sven does. She's not "thinking about you," some Sweedish dude is. She shows up, and waits for the fake music programmed into the computer by someone else to cue up and then sings someone else's lyrics as if they are her singing about her own thoughts sounding as if she's a 12 year old girl and all the pervs and shallow 15 year olds drool. Ah the corporate clay-mold phase. When they're corporate clay-molds designed for profit like this it's actually worse than when they inevitably hit their even faker rebellious/individual phase and turn into wackadoodles. Britney was the trail blazer of this de-evolution and paved the way for Amanda Bynes, Aguilera, Lohan, and the current twerkadoodle.

This album brings back so many awesome memories! I remember when Britney first came out, and she was an instant hit! I've been following her ever since! I'm glad she picked herself back up, and is making music again, but NOTHING she has done recently is better than the first 3 albums she made! I'm so glad I've got to watch her career blossom into what it is today! She will always be one of my favorite singers, and performers!

The song is about loving someone so much they drive you insane. Sometimes - Her second single. The song is about having a crush on someone, but being too shy to tell them. Born To Make You Happy - Her fourth single. The song is about being born to love someone with every part of your being. From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart - Her fifth single that is highly underrated. The song is about going through a break-up and knowing everything'll turn out fine. I Will Still Love You - The duet with Don Philip. The song is an absolute masterpiece that talks about your significant other being everything.

I remember getting this CD about 4 or 5 years ago...all of these songs are AMAZING. Its funny listening to these and then her brand new songs. Sometimes its hard to believe its the same person. Each and every one of theses songs is unique, beautiful, and fun to listen to. Although there isn't one bad song on this album (which is VERY rare, and she can't say that about any of her other albums) the best are: ...Baby One More Time You Drive Me Crazy Sometimes Born To Make You Happy From The Bottom of My Broken Heart I Will Be There E-Mail My Heart Each of these songs are amazing in their own way. Here's a review, track by track, of each song: ...Baby One More Time- This song is the title track, and its filled with strong vocals that make you want to throw your head back and sing. It's filled with Britney's classic power that can't be copied. 8.5/10 You Drive Me Crazy- A song that every girl can relate to, the slightly desperate note to the song makes it unlike any of her other songs. All of the different beats in the background highlight her voice and make this a one of a kind piece. 8.5/10 Sometimes- A beautiful ballad that brightens your mood. Just listening to the sweet, melodic vocals with a tint of strength will take you to another place. The haunting, sweet vocals will stick with you long after the song ends. 10/10 Soda Pop- The classical beach party song. Unlike any song Britney does (and will ever do) this song captures that konga line, vacation feel that everybody loves to hear. With bouncy beats and Britney's strong vocals, this is a truly one of a kind song. Listening to it more than twice in a row will make it get on your nerves though, so keep that in mind. 7.5/10 Born To Make You Happy- A perfect example of classic Britney magic. Her sad, soft vocals mixed with the sweet background music in this makes it beautiful. This will be stuck in your head over and over again. ;) 10/10 From The Bottom of My Broken Heart- A sad, soft, pleading ballad, this song will have tears in your eyes by the end. The sheer beauty intertwined with the lyrics, music, and vocals makes this one of the deepest, lovely songs on the album. 10/10 I WIll Be There- Britney shows us her helpful, sweet side in this song Lending out her hand to anyone who listens to this song, they'll feel connected to her. The verses are catchy, compliment the chorus, and make you curious to listen to what's coming next. Amazing! 9.5/10 I Will Still Love You- Seeming like a Disney movie song, this may not be your favorite at first. But after listening closely to the lyrics and the perfection of Don and Britney's vocals, it'll grow on you. Not the best on the album, but still amazing and strong. 7/10 Thinkin' About You- This upbeat, "end of the movie" type track will have you smiling. Listen to the lyrics and you'll find yourself relating to what she's saying. With a great range of vocals and sounds, this song shows off Britney's bubblier side. E-Mail My Heart- The track of the album. This song makes you cry, love, and become hooked to Britney. This is my favorite song of this album, and possibly all of Britney's songs. This is beautiful and rich, with a mix of strong and airy vocals. There are so many hooks and amazing parts of this song- it is impossible to choose your favorite part. I have absolutely no bad things to say about this. I wish Britney would go back to these types of songs! 11/10 (Yes, 11/10, you read that right!! :D) The Beat Goes On- A perfect song for after E-Mail me back. A refreshing, futuristic sounding song mixed with jazzy vocals separates this song from the rest and gives us a taste of the Britney to come. Very repetitive, I find it. But still very fun to listen to!! :) 7/10 So there you have it, my opinion of all of her songs. Her best album by far! I wonder what this sweet, young, brunette Britney would say when she heard her new music. I guess we'll never know.

I was in 6th grade when this album came out. Me and my best friend would lock ourselves in her room and blast this CD on her little boom box and dance and sing along to every song... Great memories! Luv u Britney!!!

This is just hands down amazing her voice is amazing. I used to sing to every song when I was in like 2nd grade. Listing to this now being 19 I can really appreciate how truly talented she was and still is. Her voice was jut so much stronger on this album
