The show's version of Imagine was genius. What a complete and utter absurd level of idiocy to NOT have that version on the album. Fire the person that made that decision and fire them fast.

Glee is the best show of all time!! At first I didn't get very excited about it, but then my friend BEGGED me to watch it with her, so I did, and I was sooo suprised!!!!! It was absolutely amazing!!! And the songs were really really great, and it helped that I knew all of the songs they performed, because that makes you apprecite it a bit more :) and all you John Lennon fans complaining about "Imagine", just because they don't sound EXACTLY like him doesn't mean it's bad, and all their doing is honoring him!!!! And I would think you guys would actually be GLAD, because now teenagers who have never heard of John Lennon and "Imagine" now can and all this introduces them to new music!! Like me!! So stop complaining and being downers, this is amazing music for our generation :) GO GLEEKS!!

Ok, so it's not as perfect as the first Glee album... Proud Mary is awkward, and "(You're) Having My Baby" is bit creepy, but this album is STUPENDOUS. It's best if you watch the show, but even without, the songs are still powerful and fun. I love the ballad-y songs: Don't Make Me Over, And I am Telling You I'm Not Going (gotta love Mercedes here), Don't Rain on My Parade. And the teacher's voice is fabulous in "Don't Stand Too Close to me (Young Girl)". "You Can't Always Get What You Want" is a fun, Glee-esque upbeat group number. Overall, pretty amazing.

It's just one step up from kids bop...but still bloody awful It ruins good songs

Lea Michelle is truly a great singer who moves me. Her version of Don't Rain on My Parade is just as good if not better than Barbara Striesands. This song alone proved that she has that rare quality of being able to act, sing and dance. I wish they feature her more.

I love this show so much! I haven't missed 1 episode and I am so excited that it comes back on tonight at 9:28 sharp. I will be so happy if Emma and Will get together. Also I want to the name of Quinn's baby! Maybe Zac or David

Where is Chris!?!?!?! There is not a single song on here where he has a solo!!! he had a BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!! (I personally think he has the best on the show) This upsets me so much. You have no idea. There needs to be more Kurt on the show. I could go on and on about how amazing he is, but I won't because iTunes says that I need to keep this short.

I don't mind covers, as long as they sound somewhat similar to the original, and actually good, but their attempt at "Proud Mary" isn't good, go listen to CCR's version IF you like this one and I guarentee you'll like CCR's original more.

It used to be that the primary goal of the younger generation was to be cooler than the ones that came before them. I am proud to say that at 40 years old, I get to feel cooler than my eleven year old daughter. Why? There is nothing about modern pop culture that is original, challenging or gutsy. The conformist garbage that is this album, and indeed the music industry as a whole, requires the IQ of a celery stick to get. It is shocking that the covers on this album have less edge then Bing Crosby on quaaludes. I'd like to congratulate the producers of this garbage for making money with zero talent and effort.

i luv glee, and this is my fav almumn for glee so far. i found that i liked how the glee cast sang some of the songs more then how the original artist sang it. i also found music that i would've thought that i would hate, but now i luv it. THX GLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GLEE is the ultimate fresh sound. They never fail me with coming up with a new way to inovate old songs. One of my personal favorites on here is "Don't Rain on my Parade." Rachel is a fantastic performer

No wonder pop is dead, record sales are down, network television is dying, and the big record companies (and soon after the network television stations!) are going to die! Quite frankly, I'm laughing at their destruction! I mean that cover of Jump is drop-dead awful. If Van Halen knew that was the only way kids knew their songs they'd probably retire for good. This show is to 13 to 16 year old teenyboppers what High School Musical is to 9 to 12 year old pre-teenyboppers.

Okay, I'll admit, I've never watched Glee before, but from what I've seen (and thats maybe 18 minutes of the first episode) It looks amazing! So you can only imagine what I think of the album.... I love it! Being a Theater kid, I know a lot of the songs, and basically the rest are just common sense to know. Glee takes these songs, and throws all their heart into it, and frankly, it's just incredibly awesome!

I had to watch this show on a school fieldtrip because it was the only movie anyone bothered to bring. It's addictive. Now, about the album, the only song I kinda know on this album is track 4: Don't get so closed to me (young girl). Only reason i remember it is because after the teacher sings the song he asks the really annoying girl what she understood about the song and she answered that he needs his space, she's much to young, and i forgot the last one, but anyway he got frustrated and looked to the counciler for help on this and all she did was vompliment him on his singing instead of telling the student what he actually meant. It was a really funny scene. P.s. Sorry if i spoiled it for you people out there who haven't seen this episode yet. Please forgive me.

As usual, amazing. But why is there a cover of "Don't Make Me Over" which wasn't in the show... and they didn't release "Don't Even Know My Last Name" w/Kristen Chenoweth, or "Leaving On A Jet Plane" w/Matthew Morrison? I want 'em!

This show is about a high school show choir. If you have never been to a concert by a high school show choir, maybe you should. I think this show demonstrates this perfectly. Great show and great cast.

SO overwhelmed right now it's hard to think of what to say, the Glee Cast have murderded this... OMG!!!!!!! i can't think of anything else to say... Amber Riley rocks and definitely did that song better than Jennifer Hudson( no offense). This album is a steal and worth every penny

First of all, Glee club does not do their own songs if you haven't already realized this. Sure, the originals are good but some people like this stuff because it IS amazing.

Probably the best song I've ever heard Lea Michele ever sing!! She's simply amazing! Probably because it has a broadway feel and that's where she's from. She sings this AMAZING live! I was completly blown away! This girl is truly amazing!

Really, how did it? It's just plain horrible!!!

I was hoping for the full experience of watching the show by listening to the tracks on this album and got nothing like that from this album. The show is lack luster and predictable as it is with blatent plot twists and so-called heartwarming stories. The only thing keeping the show running is the song arrangments. I am a music fan as a whole so I know all of the songs that are protrayed on the show. The Glee cast almost makes a decent effort to release something close to the original. But, without remembering what was going on in the show when these songs came out it makes buying the album worthless. If you are a heavy fan of the show buy this album. If you are just a casual watcher or have missed the show for several weeks, don't bother.
