Jason Derulo has bent the expectations of "good" music on a teenager's mind. Everyone knows that the most liked songs cost $1.29, but in this album it's worth every penny. I was pleasently surprised. I think Jason Derulo is going to be heard more on the radio in the near future, and hopefully he will make more albums, for his growing crowd of dedicated fans. Personally I have purchased everything that he has made so far. Good luck!

When sincerity is a principle in one's life it becomes easier and easier to express oneself through any form of artistic work. Jason Derulo's music is evolving at a rapid pace and it's exhilarating to see an artist move up the charts who is exceptionally dynamic in ways BEYOND his artistic form of music and dance expression. I truly believe that an artist who is DYNAMIC on the stage is dynamic because he is well-grounded in other areas in his life. I'm absolutely excited to see how his music evolves as this talented young musician continues his personal quest on impacting this world in a positive light. I love it when entertainers know how to entertain on the stage and also, create meaningful events off the stage through reaching out to their fans. this really is a great album. my favorite songs are "in my head" "whatcha say" and ridin solo." i bought "whatcha say" and "in my head" but not ridin solo. i REALLY love that song but does he really have to say sh** 4 times?! i would buy this song if they had the radio edit because i just feel that word is really unneccesary and it ruins the whole song. i saw him in concert at "Phooson" and got to hear this song 5 months before it came out and i wanted to buy it more than anything because it was amazing! but the words... not good...

When I first heard his single Whatcha Say, i was already waiting for this album to come out. HE has a great voice and can go to all keys. I highly recommend every song on this album, especiallly Blind, Ridin Solo, In My Head, What If, and Queen of Hearts. MUST BUY!!

I really like the sound of his songs. They have cool beats and lyrics. If he would just stop saying his name and recording company in every song it would have gotten five out of five stars.

ok, just to let you know how good this album is, i never write reviews. I just couldn't let this one pass. Everyone song on this album is amazing. I can't find a single complaint about any of them. One of the best albums i've ever purchased. Great voice, great beats, every song is "radio" worthy. Personal favorites: Whatcha say (Both versions), Ridin' Solo, In my head, The Sky's the limit, Queen of hearts....basically the whole album. Lots of promise in Jason Derulo. can't wait to hear more from him. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!

Jason Derulo is a very talented artist, but his songs are nothing new. I encourage you to buy this album, or a few of the songs if you like that style of mainstream. The only thing I don't like is that he sampled from a talented artist, Imogen Heap, her song "Hide and Seek". Whatcha Say is based around her chorus, and it just isn't fair to her. Other than that, a lot of the songs are okay, and few are good. Another thing is that he is just Chris Brown. Everyone hates Chris from the Rhianna incident, Jason is just a replacement. I can here Chris Brown singing these songs. But if you loved Chris's songs, go ahead and buy the album. I would strongly recommend "In My Head" if you want to buy some of his songs. I think it's the best song on the entire album <3 Overall it's a good album. There is certainly worse music out their. I suggest listening to all these songs before you buy them though, because I think some are terrible, but that's just me.

Though this album is great, I gave it 4 stars for a reason. I saw Jason Derulo in concert, and his dance moves were amazing, but his singing was not as spectacular as I thought it was going to be. So I gave it 4 stars because his talent is only good. My favorite songs are Ridin Solo and In My Head =)

Best songs ever sung

Love this album, every song is catchy and enjoyable. My only issue is that alot of the songs sound like JLS. The songs could be swapped from both albums and you would never know. But putting this aside, well worth buying.

Loved this album from the first listen, 10 great R&B/Pop songs which could leave being spoken about in the same bracket as acts such as Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Chris Brown and what's even better is that he writes all his own songs! :D Also Auto=tune isnt everpresent on the album, some people dont even know what it is go listen to the stark differences between T-Pain and this album and if you think he can't sing... Live Lounge. Whatcha Say - 10/10 Ridin' Solo - 8.5/10 (there's a demo to this song that's a sample which really takes it to 10/10) In My Head - 9.5/10 The Sky's The Limit - 9/10 What If - 9.5/10 Love Hangover - 8/10 Encore - 10/10 Fallen - 9/10 Blind - 8.5/10 Queen Of Hearts - 9/10 (Nice play on words) All in all this is a great debut album, and one i'll be listening to for ages... just like Ne-Yo

Amazinnnn Defo Buy... In My Head, Whatcha Say &+ Ridin Solo...

i listen to alot of music, alot of RnB aswell. And when I heard "Whatcha Say" for the very first time, i thought "yeaah this is a good song, it's new and it sounds proper good". I was impressed, thinking he's gonna do proper well! The I heard the acoustic version, and thought it was just a shabby version, pretty much the exact same. EVERY track on this album is based on pretty much the same chord sequences, they all sound very similar, and it's disappointing. I don't encourage people to buy it. RnB is supposed to sound like R. Kelly, Usher sorta stuff, and in modern times, artists like Trey Songz. But this shows no talent at all.

When it comes to R&B i tend to prefer my slow tunes like burn by usher or the usual Boys II men but i was surprised when i heard this album. listening to whatcha say i thought that would be his his only good song and nothing else would not compare but i was wrong. a must buy!
