Glee has the very best singers ever! Lea Michele is just so amazing and has the best voice ever. Cory Monteith is amazing also. Their voicies go so great together. I just love GLEE

I love these songs and this show but my boyfriend says they ruin perfectly good songs we get into some pretty heated discustions.

I love this compilation album. The price is perfect for what they are offering. You get verisons of songs that were not offered during the season like the all 3 of the Defying Gravity versions. The best companion for the best show ever put on telivision. Total musical fun. Thank you!

Why would the Glee cast do full versions of all of the songs they sing in each episode, BUT, not one of the greatest songs of ALL TIME. The Glee version of "Imagine" still edits out the first verse of the song. On the show I can understand the edit. But I want to buy the entire song, just like they do with every other song. To OMIT THE FIRST VERSE, with the most powerful four-word opening of any song ever written, they insult Lennon's memory and destroy the song at the same time. I love Amber and Lea working the song, but the slimmed-down version of the song on the CD is soooo disappointing. It is like Glee taking a paint brush and trying to connect the dots on a Monet masterpiece...... it is just wrong. So beware if you want the full-version of "Imagine" because one-third of the masterpiece has been blotted out. (AND ESPECIALLY AT THIS PRICE FOR THIS CD!)

Don't get mr wrong I love glee but nobody would spend 100 dollars buying an album besides it's not even complete so itunes there's definitely something wrong

During Season One I bought all the albums that came out, and I still don't have every song. It's ridiculous. I'm a hug Glee fan, and make fun of me if you must but I would like to have every song, and because I bought most of these on albums previously it won't let me say I already have those! Does anyone know how to get it to recognize the other songs?

I started watching glee with my friend a couple weeks back, and now we are both obcessed! Glee is the best TV show ever! Go Gleeks!

People who are complaining about the price should realize that this is not intended to be a full album purchase. iTunes figured people who would be purchasing music in this would already have a good majority of the music from singles and albums. They just didn't want the singles cluttering up the store to make way for season two singles. And this is actually a pretty good price considering they charged you for one dollar instead if $1.29 on the album price.

Okay, I've got to say that Chris totally trumps Lea in Defying Gravity. All the way. He's got way more emotion than she does.

Loved every minute of it. My only question is how soon is the complete season two coming out???

ok, normally I'd rate this 5 stars, but 100 bucks?! SERIOUSLY?! I love Glee, but I can't afford this unless I get two $50 iTunes gift cards, and my allowance is only $10 every two weeks, so that would take, like, forever. I hate iTunes for making this so flippin' expensive! If I can find this at Target or something, I'll go with that instead. I am so not paying $100 for music.

Don't get me wrong -- I <3 Glee, and when Lea Michele sings, it darn near breaks my heart, but this album is NOT every song that you heard sung in season one. I'm sorry, but doesn't "complete" give you the idea that it's every song? Auditions are missing ("Respect" by Mercedes, "I Kissed a Girl" by Tina, "Mr. Cellophane" by Kurt). Also, missing from the Pilot episode are "You're The One That I Want" by Finn, Rachel, et al, and "Sit Down, You're Rocking The Boat (Artie, Kurt, Mercedes, Rachel, Tina). "Le Freak" is missing (from Episode 2, Showmance). "This Is How We Do It" and "Poison" are missing (from Episode 3, Acafellas). "Tonight" is missing (from Episode 4, Preggers). "Cabaret" is missing (from Episode 5, The Rhodes Not Taken). "Ride Wit Me" is missing (from Episode 7, Throwdown). "What a Girl Wants" is missing (from Episode 8, Mash-Up). "When You're Smiling" is missing (from Episode 12, Mattress). And, so on. 4 stars for Apple not hiring someone with a dictionary.

I love alll the music, but why spend 100 dollars on this when you could buy the entire first season for half the price? And it has all the songs... U would think songs would cost less than video? I wud just buy the tv season.

Alright, think of it like this. I just bought a 20 song Glee alblum, each song priced individually at $1.29, for only $12.99. If you bought each alblum imstead of just this one, you could save over $60. I am also suspicious, because the finicial departmebt of this show must have seen this flaw, so I think that this is just some scam artisit trying to rip you off. My advice; go get each alblum. It may take a little more time, and it won't all be as organized, but it will save you a TON of money.

I can't help laughing when I hear Mr. Shu rap. Bust a Move was great. Ice Ice Baby isn't the best song but they made it a lot better. This song came on once and my friends sang it. It was hysterical.

I love having all the songs from season one on one album. Of course, it does not not include some songs from the show, but I don't think those songs will ever be released on an album. They were probably just for the show. I believe that $100 is a reasonable price. Anything more would simply be too expensive. I love Glee. I'm a big time Gleek. The songs are awesome. Lately, they have not been doing as many older songs and show tunes as they used to. I like the older songs and show tunes better even though I am young. To those people who keep saying that they should make their own music, I must remind you that it is a show about a GLEE CLUB. They are supposed to sing songs from other artists. If you do not know what a glee club is, look it up!

This album was very helpful! Papa Don't Preach was a favorite of mine!

I added up: Volume 1 (17 tracks without bonus tracks), Volume 2 (17 tracks), The Power of Madonna (7 tracks without the bonus track), Volume 3 Showstoppers (14 tracks on standard, 20 on deluxe), and The Journey to Regionals (6 tracks). It only came up to 67 (that's with the deluxe edition of Volume 3). You are getting an extra 33 tracks on this album without bothering with buying all the extra singles individually.

If you like musicals as much as I do you will love this album. Every song to me is amazing and even inspiring in some ways. I realize its 100 bucks but you will not be disappointed. This album brings out the singer in everyone one and I guarantee you will be singing passionately in your car in no time.

This queer show should never cover classic rock songs again! Stick to covering nonsense pop songs and not great bands like the Doors, journey and AC/DC

I love that they have some of the songs that weren't included in the other albums, but they didn't add them all. I'm especially upset that Kurt's "Single Ladies" is nowhere on this album.

The price of this is insane. If you are dumb enough to fall for this, then good for iTunes.

Best singer no matter what they sing

i bought the song "defying gravity" because it reminded me of jack before he died. i'm a huge house of night fan and this song brings tears to my eyes every time i hear it. its the song jack sung before he died and i'll miss him throughout the rest of the series. R.I.P. Jack Twist merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again.

Sure it's not every song but it is a good amount if the songs. It is kinda costly, there probably should be some kinda discount for buying so many songs. But it would have cost the same amount if u bought each separate album. So it's not like you're paying extra. 4 stars for not having every song & the price.

Wow, wow, wow. I only just recently started watching Glee, but I have to say Im pretty amazed. There are some amazingly talented people in this show. My favorite song on this album by far is Chris' verison of 'Defying Gravity.' It honestly gives me chills. Chris Colfer is amazing. :)

Agree the cost of this is very steep to say the least!! However I have done my homework & if you already own all 5 Glee CD's that have already been released then you only need to purchase 33 of the 100 songs so the cost should drop to $72.27 AUD. Still not cheap but a hell of a lot better than the $167.80 AUD that Apple iTunes is asking for. Shame on you Apple...how do you expect school kids to pay this price...you are totally out of touch with reality.

What's with the unbelievably high price? According to iTunes US, this is 79.99 to purchase there. Convert that into AUS and it's 85.22 as of today. What's with the massive mark-up? It's absolutely ridiculous and I say this as a fan (of Glee, not iTunes at the moment).

At today's price, it's cheaper to buy all the other Season 1 albums (Volumes 1-3, Power of Madonna, and Journey to Regionals; then buy the remaining 31 tracks individually at $2.19 each. The proof: The Complete Season One = $169.99 Volumes 1-3 (3 x $16.99) + Power of Madonna ($16.99) + Journey to Regionals ($9.99) = $77.95 $2.19 for each of the 31 songs included in The Complete Season One which aren't available on the other albums = $67.89 $77.95 + $67.89 = $145.84 $169.99 - $145.84 = $24.15 So, if you want all the songs legally you can save $24.15 that way. If you already own one or more of the other Season 1 albums, you're wasting even more money on this album. If you have access to the US iTunes Store, the same alburm there is approximately $100 AUD - $70 AUD cheaper than here!

If you buy the albums separately, you don't get the COMPLETE set of songs in the series, you only get a selection! Anyways, the album is great! :)

I purchased approximately 9 songs from the individual albums of volume 1, volume 2, volume 3, and madonna edition and this is what I get!? There were almost 100 comments on Ping when it announced this that we wanted a "Complete my album" for everything purchased! And now I just cannot pay this much for something like this! iTunes this much money is too much. I was wanting something to simplify all of the Glee albums I had which are scattered on my page. Thanks iTunes, you, for the first time have disappointed me.

The price may be high but if you bought all the songs separately it would cost $210 instead of $169 but if you have already bought many songs from this album you probably shouldn't buy this album

Glee's audience is largely composed of hyperactive tweenagers and the parents that birthed them. Plus a healthy number of other categories of people. They are not going to pay $169.00 to buy all these songs. Be realistic, iTunes.

OMG! This album is soooooo expensive. Seriously if Itunes want us to buy this album they should at least make it a bit cheaper. I mean $169! That's way too much! It should only be about $110, at the most! I really think in the future Itunes should think about making cheaper decisions.

The singles of all of these songs are £0.99 each so to buy all of them individually would obviously cost £99. Therefore £79.99 is actually a pretty decent price, it's just a lot in one go. Anyway, fantastic covers that I genuinely love.

This album was £7.99 when I looked at it 2 days ago and yesterday the price was raised. It makes no sense as you could buy all of the other albums seperately plus all of the other songs that are not included on those albums and it still comes to around £30. I think that a mistake has obviously been made and I wrote to Apple yesterday to try and notify them of their (what I hope to be an) error. I love Glee and so I was extremely confused and annoyed when I went to buy the album and the price had changed!!! BRING THE PRICE DOWN APPLE AND I WILL BUY IT!!!!!!!! (I have rated the album, not the price) :)

I would normally rate this a lot more but $80?!?!? You have GOT to be kidding me. I love most of their songs and the tv show, but I sincerely hope this is a mistake. The album is good however it's a shame about the price. Before it was released I had already got ALL of these songs for no more than £25! Apple should understand that no one would buy an album at this price if they could get it a lot cheaper. As well as that, they left out one song. A bonus track that wasn't released like "Burning Up". It was "Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love" performed by Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff. I'm just saying. It should be 101 tracks not 100 because I'd really like to have a paid for copy of that.
