The songs "Arms" and "Jar of Hearts" and beautiful and so relatable to my feelings

I love this album first of all! But did anyone notice that some songs are incomplete or they just end abruptly? Maybe it's just me. The songs "Distance" and "Backwards" just end almost mid verse. Anything I can do?

Love this album. Love this girl. I though it would be too pop for me to enjoy. But she's the right amount of pop and real songwriter. Also, all songs are heavy in minor chords giving them sad sounds. I love this. Her raspy voice is amazing and she really writes great songs. This is on of those albums where every song sounds like it could be a hit. I bought the deluxe version and recommend it because black and blue and backwards are two of the best songs on the album. I love it

I absolutely love the depth and edge in Christina's voice and how real and honest her lyrics are. The music has great diversity of all my favorite instruments, and I love the old school rock sound with the piano. Would recommend this album to everyone! And yes, A Thousand Years is the song that got me even looking for this album. Such a gorgeous song!

Love her songs but most of all I love jar of harts and a thousand years she has beautiful sing and can't stop listing to her songs.

Christina is a rare gem with an emotional, soft voice, and I'm overjoyed that I took the time to listen to her unique voice. Here are my reviews for my favorites. "The Lonely" is pleading, sad, melancholy, and very pretty. This is amazing. "Jar of Hearts" is another sadly beautiful song about a traitor, a liar. It is very unique and I love the metaphors of it. "Penguin" is a sweet love song that I adore. "Distance" is cautious, pretty. They are all amazing-these are just the ones I love the most! A Thousand Years? Well, that's another story. Thank you for this beautiful album.

I saw her at both Red Rock concerts she is amazing I love pher. She is so much better live, but I love her album it rocks. I am learning black and blue and wanna try it for a music competition I am in. Ty Christina for great music. Who ever said she was a bad singer needs to get a hearing aid. She can sing unlike you who doesn't know music and is tone def. maybe we should appoint Simon Cowl as your mentor he may show you something you didn't know was there. Lol

Somebody get this girl some Grammy's please!!!!! I had first heard Christina over a year ago when I saw her video for "1000 years" and I liked her, but I hadn't heard anything else from her and I just kinda lumped her in with alot of other really good voices............FFWD until last night, when I stumbled upon "Jar of Hearts", kind of accidentily actually.......That is one of the most "soul moving", beautiful, and sad (in a beautiful way) songs I've ever heard!!!.............If that song does not evoke some emotion in your soul, you might as well pull the plug cause you are dead inside and have no soul! Let's just say this, I've have never bought any other entire album at 2A.M. and listened to the whole thing from begging until end,, that is until now!!! LOVE the girl! ChrisitnaPerriFAN4life!!!

I LUVV CHRISTINA PERRI. Haters...you should know better, a lot of people like her! IN FACT I DO! Honestly, everyone who likes Christina, you have real taste. I'm sure all you haters out there are probaly sitting at your computer or electronic typing up stuff that NO ONE wants to read. NOBODY CARES ABOUT HATERS. LOVE SOMETHING. I know you are sharing opinions...but nobody wants to hear 'She should get a singing teacher!' (there isn't such one haters! If you knew anything ABOUT music the correct term is VOCAL COACH!) or 'awful singer..'. That is really annoying. So THINK before you post something so hateful. Would you like it if someone told you you were awful?

I usually don't buy full albums because I don't like all the songs, but this album has won my award for First Full Album I will buy as soon as I can. Good job, Christina. You should replace Britney Spears in the popularity rankings!!! And when you do, stay near your roots.

To be clear, I only purchased (and am rating) three songs off this album: Arms, Mine, and Black + Blue. I purchased these songs after hearing Christina Perri perform live twice in one week. I couldn't get her music out of my head. In addition to these three, I loved her performance overall; she has an amazing stage presence and it feels as though she reaches right into the heart of pain and then sings it out with all of her heart. The song "Crazy" and her cover of "Be My Baby" were also amazing. If they were available on iTunes, I'd surely be listening to those non-stop as well. There's something captivating about Christina as a musician. She's so vulnerable yet wise. She's so open and lovely yet kind of a mystery. Her voice is raw and beautiful, and I disagree with the review that said she's a bad singer. She has a somewhat raspy voice, but it so suits her music. And she can hit those notes so well. She demonstrates varied vocal range in her music, and her voice is actually so smooth when she's performing live. I was extremely impressed with her live performances, vocally. I look forward to this artist's next album. Her music definitely pulls on some heartstrings, and it's just fun to feel all the scary emotions she sings about and at the same time rocking out a little.

This song gives you a calming melody then they powerhouse it. Phenomenal

I can't help but cry every time I hear the lonely. It pulls from every angle of my heart that Yearns for something to fill the void that is my life. This song is something that truly just, it's just a perfectly written, beautiful, heart wrenching song. And the rest of the album is beautiful too. Thank you Christina.
