Streetwalker by Michael Jackson Song Info
Streetwalker is one of Michael Jackson's songs in the 2001 special edition of the album, Bad. It was originally recorded for the original CD release, but it was cut from the final track listing and replaced with Another Part Of Me. Jackson sings about a fictional infatuation he has with a prostitute, about how she loves him and leaves him because it’s part of her job, but he fails to understand how she’s able to make love without attachment. He wants to whisk her away from the streets and make her his own: “I’d like to take you places How about New York City Or Paris, France What do you think of that?” However, he fails to do so, as we can see from the outro to the song where he’s still pleading for her love and attention.
