i think he has created a new genre of music - alternative R & B. You could perhaps mention Prince or Lenny Kravitz, but this is more pure soul. And I'm a hard rock guy! This is killer stuff!

Great Album by Miguel. I will say that him, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd have some of the best R&B albums out right now. As long as he stay on the right track musically and continue to make good music, he has a long career ahead.

So I've never heard of this guy, gave a random listen to the title track and I was like wow, this cats pretty fly. Listened to a few more tracks, and had to buy the album. Nice.

This album is so awesome. I can listen to it straight through over and over. My favorite songs on the album are, Use me, kaleidoscope dream, Don't look back, and How many drinks. Kaleidoscope dreams bridge is reminiscent of The brothers Johnson's remake of Shuggie Otis' Strawberry letter 23. Not quite as trippy but very good in its own right. Buy this album.

For those missing that old R&B feeling where it actually felt special to listen to songs Miguel has definitely brought that back with this album. I would go as far to say that Miguel is a milestone in R&B as an artist. This album is a must have if you love music to keep it simple.
