I've never heard of tech nine b4 but have been told he's great and well I have done nothing but listen to this album all day everyday since I got it, the beats are amazing and the lyrics are breath taking. I fully love this album

This is a great album I love all his songs and albums but if I had to pick the best so far I would pick something else I love the great input from other artists and not as hard out rap as showen in see me

Tech N9ne is a great hip-hop artist, and Something Else is certainly an excellent release. Tech often raps over types of beats which I don't usually enjoy when from other hip-hop artists (like on songs such as See Me, Colorado), but the fact that the song has Tech in it is enough to make me enjoy it, and I usually start to enjoy the beat too! I love the metal-infused songs (Straight Out the Gate, Love 2 Dislike Me etc.) and the contrast that Tech N9ne often creates with beauty and darkness is an excellent touch to his music. This is probably the album I have been anticipating the most this year, and it is definitely as awesome as I expected!

Not your everyday run of the mill rapper....this album proves it...enjoyed from start to finish. The skit help the listener understand the meaning of the songs and the order..fantastic work TECH N9ne!!!!!!

For all those so-called Technicians out there, this album has to be his worst yet. Idk but it sounds like Tech is swaying a little towards the mainstream with this album. Don't get me wrong, he always has party songs but I think he didn't put his all into this one. So far the only song that gives me goosebumps is Straight Out the Gates. Deep, powerful, meaningful; the real Tech. I was pretty disappointed. Besides the fact that he didn't come to Jersey this year :(

I still like the album, but this album shows how tech is going mainstream. He doesn't sound like the old tech we all love. It's sad to see tech put this out. Maybe tech will go back to his old ways on his next album. It's still worth the buy though.

This album made me cry it was that amazing!!!! A true masterpiece!!!

First of all I need to say that this album more than blew me away. This isn't your usual "hip-hop/rap" that you're used to hearing on the radio etc etc. It's a whole nother level, way above that. Tech is a lyrical, musical genius and it's evident from his work here. His ability to portray emotions in his flows makes him stand out. I've had people that HATE rap music check out Tech and completely changed their mind. In regards to the album, it has some nice features like Serg, Krizz, Game, The Doors and various Strange Music members, and even some more mainstream features like Wiz Khalifa, T-Pain, Kendrick and B.o.B. The tracks are set up to go from a darker point of view in the start, such as Straight Out The Gate and B.I.T.C.H. which explore Tech's darker side, and eventually transition into a more positive view towards the end with songs like Believe, Strange 2013 and That's My Kid. The album comes together in a way that carries you through an emotional journey of some sort, it's amazing. Tech is one of the few rap artists I have respect towards, and you owe it to yourself to check out this album if you're looking for something that stands out from the sea of generic hip-hop music. Worth every dollar!
