Before you buy this album you should know Katy perry wrote a song discriminating against gay people, song is called "ur so gay"! Honestly Katy your songs are good but I have VERY strong feeling about this subject... You might not have meant it to be against gay people but you wouldn't say that's so pregnant or that so alarm clock would you?? God I hope not😂 Anyway you could have picked ANY other way to say that the guy who mysteriously "broke" your heart was a total douche. For example, Taylor swift wrote a song called mean. Take a hint Katy perry NOBODY thinks it's cool! Think of that next time

Her music was so real and honest way back when and this album proves it. Her highest point was her album Teenage Dream believe it or not, California Girls was real! She's a California Girl and she's definitely unforgettable but sex on the beach may not be accurate but it's still her old teasing self from Ur So Gay and I Kissed A Girl. Prism has a few major songs here and there and some of them were real but This is How we Do? Come on. I was tempted to purchase it (which I did) because it's catchy but Rise? No no no. Sorry Katy but you're not like anyone else. You're a pearl.

I wish there were not swear words in Hot N Cold. I had to go and edit it. Otherwise, has some good songs.

I like these songs a lot better than the new Katy because her voice is raw and the lyrics are more original. My fav is I kissed a girl. 😘 There aren't enough songs like that. I didn't really like "ur so gay" because (despite the album description) it isn't ok. She was insulting a straight guy by calling him gay. Other than that I love all the songs! 😊

This album sounds so much more honest and not as contrived as Prism. She’s turned into such a bland boring pop star. This album is great, and I wish she would go back to this kind of music. Unfortunately, this kind of sound isn’t what Top 40 is looking for, and that’s all Katy cares about right now

Her voice on studio sounds very different when live, specially when she sings "Hot 'n Cold". But her voice has improved these days tho. Half of the songs are meaningless, senseless. But good experimental blending of songs. I suggest you listen to Prism instead.

If you think this is a really fun and cute album then think again. This album has really inappropriate songs about love and life of a gay. It's just wrong and weird. I'm so disappointed in Katy. She has other great songs like roar or grace of god but she really went low. I miss the old Katy. Anyway, I do not recommend this album. It's just not good at all. Sorry Katy.
