This is such a great album! I'm obsessed with it and I love that you can dance to every song! My favorite song is Boom Pow. It's so much fun. And I love La Fuega. Keep it up Alexandra! Kisses from USA! ✌🏽️
Get it girl !!!So amazing!!! Can’t wait for your next album !!!
Fav song is 9 lives I just love her voice and accent 👍🏽☺️☺️
Was scared that this album wasn't going to come out anywhere but Japan so I was very excited when I saw this come out today 😊😊.
Generic trash
I love Alexandra Stan’s music, you can dance to every song!
I've been a fan of hers for years and she's just gotten better and better. This album is absolutely fire.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Another stellar production from Alexandra Stan! This album shows that Alexandra can successfully blend her unique Eastern European heritage with other sounds from around the world. A testament to her international appeal. Highlights of the album include the thumping “Did it Mama,” the Caribbean-inspired “Coco Banana,” and the lush mid-tempo groove of “Ecoute.” My personal favorite might actually be “Alone,” a modern, bubbly, early 1990’s dance confection. It’s a well rounded album, with few songs that I didn’t enjoy. (The two I don’t care for are “Step It up” and “La Fuega.”)
I was shocked this was already released, considering it just came out in Japan but I am thrilled, this album is amazing!!!

There's some good songs on here especially I Did It Mama, La Fuega, Alone, Get What You Give, Ecoute and Balans. Alexandra's vocals and melodies are the standout as always. Overall sound of Alesta is very catchy, upbeat and fun. However, this isn't as good as Unlocked though which I felt was more empowering and emotional. I think if she took more time off to make this album it would've been a little better like she did with her previous one and would sound less rushed. Also, the other review someone left is a full on rant and quite harsh to be frank. I still think Romanian music is good and remains one of my fave types of music today. They sound a bit pressed if you ask me and didn't leave a very constructive review about the content or artistry of this album. * Two years later and this is one of my fave albums ever, it’s timeless and still as catchy as the first listen!
This (her 3rd) album is very different from her last two, yes it's not as good as her last (unlocked) which is my fav but this album has some good songs, "Alive" being my favourite a proper dance number which could easily be a hit here in the UK! I will admit after the single choices I wasn't expecting much but was surprised as I like at least half if not more of the songs just wish there was more of them, hopefully the European version with have bonus tracks like her last album!
As a fan of Alexandra Stan, I'm severely disappointed with this. The only decent song is "We Wanna" (which, FYI, was originally a song for Inna until they swapped it over - it's on her YouTube under "New Music Preview" in case you want to see the original). Other than that the only other bearable one that can be listened to is "I Did It Mama". I can honestly see why this album is just the low low price of £3.99 but even that is a bit of a push for the array of garbage actually on here. Roton & Global Music have been going severely downhill in recent months (although in fairness Roton has for over a year) and this is just another example of how very wrong the direction of travel is that both record companies are taking. Where is the originality in Romanian music anymore that we seen between 2008-2012 when Mr Saxobeat, Hot, Sweet Love, Deep In Love, Shake It Mama, etc were all released? If it's put a big fan (me) of Alexandra's off buying this then it's no doubt put off others too due to the sheer garbage that's on here. Hopefully the poor sales will be a wake up call to Roton & Global Records (and to CatMusic even though they're not involved in this but they're equally as garbage) that this new focus on "mainstream" tracks just isn't going to cut it and hopfully it re-energises them into releasing the type of sound heard between 2008-2012 to get Romania back on the map when it comes to music because let's face it, if it wasn't for Inna, Romania would now be virtually unknown after recent years of churning out garbage.
Loving this she proves her music gets better

Alesta is the third studio album recorded by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan. It was released both digitally and physically on 9 March 2016 through Victor Entertainment as a follow-up to Unlocked (2014). To achieve her desired sound, Stan collaborated with several producers on the record, including Andreas Schuller, Thomas Troelsen, Sebastian Barac and Marcel Botezan. The singer also took part at a music camp organized by Marius Moga, where she further worked on material featured on the album. Musically, Alesta, a dance record, draws influence from ethnic, Eastern and Western European music. Lyrically, Stan confessed during an interview with Cosmopolitan that every recording "[tells] a different story". Upon its release, Alesta debuted and peaked at number 34 on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart. Five tracks from the album were released as singles, with "We Wanna"—a collaboration with Inna and Daddy Yankee—reaching the top 60 in several countries. "I Did It, Mama!" was accompanied by a controversial music video, and experienced commercial success in her native country. Fellow singles "Balans", "Écoute" and "9 Lives" portrayed featurings with Swedish-Congolese singer Mohombi, Romanian band Havana and Bulgarian reggae performer Jahmmi, respectively. To promote Alesta, Stan embarked on a two-week venue in Japan, while appearing in many interviews and media coverages there.
