Brings back the old Skool mixing. All together well done.
A deceptively balanced continuous mix of remixes from the recent album. Different transition styles, nice edits, and a variety of tempos keep things varied but cohesive. Doubles as listenable headphone dance pop or a house party dancefloor starter.
Not a remix fan but love Dua's music. If you buy one song off this album it has to be love is religon, maybe Levitating with Madonna and Missy. The rest are a hard pass.
The original songs are better
Iโm so Disappointed
Amazing
The title says it all, but I guess Iโll expand upon it (not much, though). Nearly all of the remixes are disappointing (there are better, much better, remixed songs of FN on YouTube) and they seem to overtake the song, making it something completely different from the original (I really, really hate when remixes do that). Each song, on the original, had the potential for a great remix (like the Levitating one, Blessed Madonna or whatever itโs named). This is especially so with Physical, and loved that Gwen was on it, but the only remix of it was just....blah. So, yeah, to put it simply, this โremixโ album is a miss. Sorry, Dua, love the original FN and I do look forward to your future projects-wish you the best!
absolutely ruined one of the best albums of the year
The Blessed Madonna lacked the creativity and talent to do this remix album. Future Nostalgia was one of the best records of 2020, this is a shame.
Definitely surprised which how much I was into this album itโs awesome BOYS WILL BE BOYS is my favorite so far.
Clearly some of these negative reviewers have never heard of a remix album because this is amazing. It actually adds to the nostalgia theme with samples from artists like Jamiroquai, Gwen Stefani and Stevie Nicks showing up throughout the listen. This isnโt going to sound like Future Nostalgia but itโs still great. Definitely check this out.
Itโs alright
I cannot get enough of this album. The mix is fabulous. I'll be on this album for awhile.
I love the physical Remix with Gwen but I just donโt love remixes but I still love dua
dua babe i love you.... but ummmm this isnโt it. sorry but omg go stream the og furute nostalgia
Dis Lipa youโre amazing!!!!
It was a great album, probably the best album released by a female artist this year. Now originally when I saw this, all I saw was "The Blessed Madonna", and I figured that Madonna just had a new surname. Come to find out that Madonna was only on one song on this entire album, and it still wasn't that great. Whoever this Blessed Madonna person is needs to quit being a DJ while they're ahead. This album doesn't really offer anything new besides a few features, and they were all just wasted. I would've prefered if they were the original versions of the song, just released with the features and then slapped with the label of Remix. Dua Lipa hit a foul ball this time around. Hopefully next time, she hits it out of the park with something actually worth caring about.
Heres the problems with this "DJ MIX"...You got some great remixes, but they are quickly destroyed by chopping up the songs way too short and not allowing us to enjoy the extended club remixes. They just don't flow like a DJ set, and this is Club Nostalgia after all. Also, we could have done without the celebrity guest drops. That just killed the overall flow of the whole album. Great concept but not executed properly.
Just a few songs that are ok but, all others not good. Really should of left it alone. But, I guess gotta hype up for more sales.
This mixtape sounds like when you mix alcohol and certain drugs on a long night out (don't do that by the way); it goes one way and then the other way. Luckily WB released the unmixed version on September 11 and out of 17 songs, you can pick at least 12 good ones (always love the rolling piano sounds of Paul Woodford). One star for this bad mushroom trip and four stars for the unmixed album.
Wow I cannot understand the bad reviews at all! This whole album is incredible! It really lives up to its name and captures the energy and nostalgia of dance music through the decades. I love the non stop remix track list, the music samples and the featured artists. Who would think to put all these legendary artists and songs together on one album? Itโs pure genius! It sounds like your listening to the radio but also sounds like something youโd hear in a club. I just love it! Thank you Dua and all those involved for this beautiful love letter to dance music.
The tramp Madonna would be more closer to reality
I feel like 90% of the people negatively commenting on how poor they think this album is arenโt really familiar with how remixes work. Songs are going to be remixed, period. If you prefer the original, then stick with it. Donโt tear down perfectly good remixes (of which Madonna only touched 2, so idk why sheโs getting so much flack) over preferences. A lot of these DJs have long established careers. This is real club musicโ the original version of FN would probably only be played during Hot 100โs night or some rooftop party. But a CLUB, club would be playing this. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
Is way better than Gaga
you all are dumb is a club album for DJS AND CLUBS
I was exited to see this pop up in my recommendations but.......donโt listen to it.
i actually enjoy this album more than the original
Better collaboration
THE BEST REMIX ALBUM THERE IS! A party from start to finish. Donโt go expecting the same sound as the original album, go with the intension of feeling in an underground club with your friends, a good night out and having the best time of your life for 50 minutes and 14 seconds. Congrats Dua and The Blessed Madonna. Keep the good music going and the originality.
Listen to these songs on repeat and stay for the straight delivery into what fantastic club music sounded like before it was tarnished with daisies and over priced hype festivals. This album has brought me to a new hope that artists can continue to develop sweet beats that sooth my soul and inspire my will to live. Those days of Ministry of Sound being definitive, feeling the rhythm in your chest! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
Trash
A good remix album!
At first I agreed with most everyone else, that it felt really choppy, lots of weird sounds, and not very congruent, but I'm finally listening through it all the way (instead of jumping around to the songs I like most), and it's really growing on me. Not nearly as good as the original, but I'm understanding a bit more of what The Blessed Madonna is trying to do, using new sounds and funky 70s disco. Love the Lily Allen-esque "Good in Bed," and, surprisingly, I may even like the remix of Future Nostalgia...more than the original? *gasp* okay, maybe I don't like it MORE, but it's faster, drum-mier, and quick-paced, and I really like it. Give it a chance and it may grow on you like it did for me!
Dua I love your music but girl this is a mess.... the remixes sounds like a meme creator did them. Sorry but this is a miss for me.
I love the collaborations with these artists and Dua! ๐๐ฅ
I rather the original album way more.
trash
Blessed Madonna took everything great about the original and replaced them with generic beats and honestly weird sound choices. The guest features are hard to even notice itโs mixed so poorly. Buy the original.
This is on repeat play. Excellent mix!
What a fun album. All new takes on already really good songs. With everything going on in the world, this is a great way to get us up and dancing even if itโs in our house!!!
I mean come on, a Club album usually has remixes that are for the clubs to dance to. What the .... are these less than two minute songs on here??? You get people on the dance floor and boom songs over. Horrible way to honor the original album
Bad reviewers are missing the point of this album , the remix of the remixes is carefully structured and programmed using โโnostalgicโ dubs and overdubs and sampling from all sources ; cleverly intersected with famous collaborations; Blessed Madonna has respected Dua Lipas artistry and the album is perfect ๐๐ป in all its splendor bringing memories from the 70โs ; 80โs and 90โs . I play it over and over and discover new sounds and references besides making u just dance all the way trough . ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
I donโt know what is that... Are people really enjoying this?
Physical is the peak of this album. Dua should be writing music for her and Madonna. Her and Sia could help them all out at this point.
If I went to a club that played music like this Iโd leave. I was hoping to enjoy at least some of these but, with the exception of the version of levitate she released, all are bad like almost hard to listen to bad and I LOOOOVED future nostalgia
What is this? Your new album is great, you donโt need this.๐
Done in a style of a 90s radio mix show. SUPER Amazing mixes !!!!!
Dua Lipa gave a bunch of her songs to different DJ's and said "here, have some fun with these!" interesting guests, interpretations, & samples. i wish there were more extended remixes, but the sheer variety makes up for short songs. if you don't like this record, you probably donโt like to dance.
So many nostalgic feels to these mixes
This is a good album but you have to listen from the start to finish to appreciate the mood it sets, the final track is a redo by Moodymann and it is straight fire, itโs so well done, worth the price of the entire album and so much more.

PLAY THIS RECORD LOUD ๐ฟ๐ฅ๐ถ
Should have just done a deluxe edition not this
Club Future Nostalgia > Future Nostalgia
Awful
While the album has some good remixes, the album has a while is really confusing. Some of the Future Nostalgia songs have their own remix EPS and remix singles which are much better listen than this.
