Given that this was another double album I came in pretty skeptical but like a 11:11 but every time I seem to doubt Chris brown he pulls a rabbit out the hat !! I can tell he really listened to his critics and took it to heart because he brought exactly what were looking from him into this album. Introspective lyrics, diverse sounds, less pointless features, R&B and less explicit melodies. With this album he really brought his “A” game and I’m proud of his musical growth and maturity. Easily the best R&B album out right now Well done Brown !! Hopefully we can see you promote it with a few award show performances and maybe even an appearance at the superbowl with Usher this year.

So I was really hoping to like this Chris Brown album but unfortunately I do not. Chris Brown’s projects tend to be too long for one thing. He should focus on quality and not quantity. As another reviewer said, Chris would be better off doing projects that consist of about 10 great tracks. Some of the songs on this album sound too similar and lack depth. The two songs I do like on the album are Best Ever and Moonlight, so the two popular songs—Sensational and Summer Too Hot—I don’t particularly like. This album gets two stars for the two songs I like. I would not buy the whole album.

I can’t pick a favourite as they are all catchy but Moonlight, Best Ever, stutter, sensational, Feel Something, Angel Numbers/10 Toes, Nightmares, Shooter and Need a Friend are so well written and produced and catchy. Every song is a hit and I LOVE IT. He is a musical genius and a super talented singer, songwriter, artist and dancer. 10/10!

CB really outdid himself this time. 11:11 is an absolute masterpiece of an album. I definitely think this is one of his most cohesive albums since X, some of his previous albums had a lot of filler songs. I’m glad he kept his song list shorter this time, and more concise. I was slightly disappointed with his previous album ‘BREEZY’, but it’s clear CB changed his tactics and went down a different route. Each song is so different, and suited for a specific mood. I’m really proud of CB, I definitely see him winning some of the bigger awards this year. This album gives me ‘redemption’ vibes like FAME. Hopefully people give him the respect he deserves now. There’s a reason why CB has been running R&B since 2005- and still ongoing. My personal faves (so far, more to add) are moonlight, shooter, very special, best ever and feel something. But overall loving every single song. This albums going to stay on repeat for a long time. #teambreezy
