A lot of people appear to be bashing on this collection because of a percieved lack of quality. What a lot of these people fail to understand, however, is that the particular form of hardcore featured here is old-skool dutch hardcore; this style is worlds away from the style of "happy hardcore" that we are used to today, not to mention the fact that its run was from '93ish to '97ish. When you compare Amiga hardcore to the beautiful, hi-tech productions of today, do the tunes stand up in terms of sheer stunning quality? Of course not. However, I would just like to point this out, because a lot of people seem to be unaware of these things. As for the comp itself, it's an impressive effort indeed, but I didn't find a whole ton of what I was looking for; just a few classic slammers such as Happy MF, Cold as Ice, and Hallucinating. Definitely useful for people looking to get into DJing old-school.

Only reasion Happy Hardcore dose not work is because its not Angary Hardcore its the sounds coming together that makes it sound paranormaly upset unless you rather use sounds that are just annoying. To fix this little problem you need to listen to the lowest rated stars

happy hardcore is practically my life. seeing as i spend almost every day listening to it, i can say for sure that THESE SONGS ARE NOT HAPPY HARDCORE. i hav never heard of almost all of these djs and the tunes all sound exactly the same. the few djs that i hav heard of in this album hav MUCH MUCH better songs. so how can itunes choose these when there are so many better?

This album is what I'd call cheddar. There are so many good Happy Hardcore tracks out there, and this is what iTunes has for sale- the most cheesy Happy Hardcore tracks. Disappointing.

wow something actually worth paying for. 50 songs for 10 bucks = $0.20 a song. i'd say it's worth it. i'm a candy kid at heart so i can't say no to such dance/stomp worthy music :D

this isnt happyhardcore even though the dutch call this happyhardecore ,,,but 4 beat toytown uk dj s is wat happy hardcore was labeled as .. this is bouncy techno funcore dutch!!! , this was the out come dutch an scottish bouncy techno...this not happyhardcore!!!!!

Yes! This is DUTCH happy hardcore. The record label this was released from is Dutch. So this is what they call it. This is a great true happy hardcore CD. All these tracks ran from 93-96 and were GREAT! People are confusing this from like Happy hardcore from the UK that took off in 95 to 2001. (Brisk, trixxy, sharkey, bang)

It's a good ablum but it vanished from my itunes and it wont let me redownload for free, so im kinda mad.
