Okay, so this is literally one of my favorite summer time albums to listen to. I know this album like the back of my hand. I got tired of uploading the original album (CD) to itunes everytime there was an update and it didnt have the original art and any of that stuff. After purchasing the album on itunes. I came to a startling realization. There is a song missing. Its not just any song. Its kind of a big deal since it was one of my favorite songs on the original CD album. Its called Little Bird performed by Cass. It was the last song on the first disc or supposed to be song number 15 which is now LAX which is supposed to be the first sone on disc number 2. In other words there is really great sone missing here and one of my favorite. Its really unforunate. I encourage everyone to get Little bird by Cass if you enjoy listening to this album. I still gave it five start cuz this is literally one of my favorite trance albums of all time!

This is a great album, definitely gives the feel of the clubs.... As they were 3 years ago!! I'm not complaining about anything on the album, as you can hear that Tijs is really starting to come into his own flavor on this album. I DO have a problem with iTunes labeling it as a new release. This album was originally released on 26 May 2006. Perhaps iTunes could properly label it instead? I understand that it might be new on iTunes, perhaps they should add another line to the album info instead of confusing the matter.

Little Bird - Cass???? Its just missing????

The second CD is phenomanal, and is quite a journey. I don't find anything interesting about the first CD. I'm giving this 5 stars because 10 dollars is the price of one CD and this has a BUNCH of songs.

My favorite still is ISOS 4, but it's nice to see that L.A. (America, more broadly) inspired such a trancy feel, though I know the west coast scene is far ahead of the east coast when it comes to electronic music, trance in particular. Anyway, it's a great album, filled with great trance songs (trance from back when the term actually denoted a certain sound as opposed to its current role as an empty word more and more associated with generic dance sounds) but this review is to express my excitement that the full album, with full-length tracks, is available now! For so long I've wanted the full version for some the tracks but they weren't among those included in the previous sampler album here on itunes. I think it's great Blackhole, and/or itunes have made the decision to offer the full package as opposed to a ridiculous sampler.

once again tiesto is the only DJ who ablum after album never fails to impress. love it.

I have the orioCD but wanted to buy on iTunes but it’s missing song 15 cd 1 Cass - Little birds!! It’s a great song but I can’t buy it now.

Totally the best song on this album an it's not even featured...

Only been waiting for this release to get on iTunes for only a couple years now. Though I own the original CD of this, I am still buying this for the tracks I havent already bought. Now if only they would do this for In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza... But there are a couple of mess ups on the labeling. Empty Streets (Haji & Emanual Remix), Everything Matters (Matthew Dekay Club Mix) to name a few, and Alex Stealthy - Something Is Wrong isnt even the right track! Or atleast not the right version.

This digital version is missing "Little Bird" by Cass Fox, a wildly beautiful song that was on the CD. Very unfortunate!!

I love this album. It totally goes with the L.A. life and vibe. Tiësto always does an exceptional job.

I heard Moonlight Party in Abercrombie and tagged the song immediately and this song name came up! Thank you thank you for directing me here! This album gives the feeling of real club music, not just the popular Hot 40 songs. In fact Moonlight Party could make it to the top 40 if they had the right marketing. Just saying, great underground artist and sound.

Great tracks! 29 tracks over 6 hrs of music. It doesn't get any better than this. Tiesto is the best! Love the Continuous Mix Disc 2!!!

I own lots of Tiesto, but this one is my favorite. Much of the music is tinged with an experimental edge that keeps it feeling progressive, emotional, magical. This is a great financial deal, more than six hours of music, more than 700mb of files... .

The only reason I found it is because it became part of the top ten best sellers in Dance. No wonder. It's killer awesome. What gives with the iTunes staff ignoring this album completely - not even listing it among the new arrivals last week? Outrageous ! ! I feel cheated and abused by the iTunes staff. Why are they so asleep at the wheel in this section? What's worse is they continue to ignore it even after it's a best seller. Now, thanks to the post below, I discover it's NOT a NEW album at all but was released on May 26, 2006. Now I feel completely ripped off by misleading labeling. I probably wouldn't have bought it had I known it wasn't a 2009 release.

The original Sunrise 5 LA. I purchased a copy at a store and the titles are not close. Itunes should check this out......I wasted 10 bucks! Oh well.....here is too experience.

I got this album several years ago, and listened to it while my life was well. Nowadays, with things having changed, I can't stand to listen to this album because it brings tears to my eyes and has me sit in deep nostalgia and daydream about the past and the way things used to be. I stress you buy it while your life is good, for it will capture the emotions of that moment and it will be felt again and again hearing this album even thirty years from now.

If an album is not available on the iTunes Store, check on other streaming services like Spotify and Amazon Music. If it’s not available anywhere, that would suggest that it has nothing to do with Apple. It usually has more to do with the artist or the record label company, who decides what is available on streaming services. But I agree, lack of availability of music on streaming services is partly to blame for piracy. Music companies can avoid piracy by releasing the music to streaming services. Anyway, great return of classic trance. Shame on the mainstream music industry for ruining trance. Many trance artists have gone electro and progressive house and eventually big room, psytrance, and hardstyle.

Ive been a huge fan of tiesto for many years but this has never been one of his better works

This album has stood the test of time like few others, BUT THIS VERSION IS A RIP OFF!!! You dont get the crazy end to disc one of Cass-Little Bird. 5 stars if this still had it, not sure why it is missing . You are better off downloading a torrent of the real verson of this CD or else you are msising out big time, yes it is that big of a deal. The full version is literally the best electronic compilation I have ever heard. Also check out the original Politics of Dancing by PVD and Nyana by Tiesto, they are good for years of listening. PUT LITTLE BIRD BACK ON ----WTF IS THIS.....

Agreed, amazing album, but missing my favorite song track 15!

I love this album, it is a great complication, but it is missing track 15 of what would be disk one (Cass - Little Bird) It would be nice if you guys could get that song onto this album! My rating would have been 5 stars if that song was there..

iTunes store - Tiesto - in search of sunrise 5 Los Angeles The music is amazing, nothing less then Tiesto's usual perfections, heck you even get both continuous tracks if you want the original medium mix, EXCEPT there is something missing...CUE FILES for the continous tracks! Now i gotta find the proper accruate rip timings so i can divide the tracks in the 2 continuous tracks. EDIT: I found the cue files, HOWEVER 1 Song is missing!! Tiesto - in search of sunrise 5 Los Angeles - CD1 - Track 15 - Cass / Little Bird This song is not present in the iTunes download, however it was present on the CD's my cousin bought from the store, a real shame!

This album has been my loved album For many many year and will be to come.. Now I have moved abroad and left cd collection at home.. I downloaded from iTunes but one of the best songs of the whole album little bird is not on it.. Rest of album still amazing just loses a star on that one point.

I got this album a few months back off a friend, and all i can say.... is that this 100 per cent does it for me. Building uplifing trance flows tune to tune.. One hell of a buy. A MUST HAVE for all dance music lovers!!!! 5 stars all the way!!
