I like this album and I don't live in a trailer park. Kid Rock is not the same artist that he was 17 years ago with Devil without a cause. He was 27 then and now 44. I am a completely different person than I was 17 years ago and I'm sure everyone can agree that we all are not into the same things that we were 17 years ago? If you are, you need to get out more and try new things. If you're into classic rock like Seger, Mellencamp, 38 special etc... you will like this album. If you want Devil again, it ain't for you. Listen before buying. God bless Kid Rock and all the haters.

People writing negative reviews are probably too stupid to realize how much talented this guy is. I was not a huge fan until I seen him live. He sang, rapped, played guitar, drums, piano, and harmonica. He's a bad dude. This album was very good and smooth transition from the last album. He's evolving as a person and an artist.

First thing is first, most of the negative reviews below compare this album to Devil Without a Cause. This album is not Devil Without a Cause. The angry, rap-rock infused Kid Rock is gone. The man has grown and has evolved his music to a more southern rock/country fusion. If you enjoyed Born Free or Rebel Soul, than you will like this album and I would highly recommend a purchase. If you want more early Kid Rock, just move on.

I wouldn't really call this album rock, although there are some elements of rock. I would call it Americana. It kind of reminds me of John Mellencamp. Still very good though.

It is very rare anymore that I like every song on an album and this is one of those rare albums. i was never a big fan of his old stuff, not a fan of rap or yelling and screaming music. Kid Rock has a wonderful and pleasant voice I love listening to him just sing.

Man, miss the Kid Rock sound I grew up listening to and LOVING. Polyfuse, EMSP, Devil, Cocky, Live Trucker...the goods. Even later stuff like Kid Rock and Rock and Roll Jesus was at least decent. His last album was terrible and this one is even worse! Not even one good song on it. He should play retirement homes now. So weak. Where you at Rock, where you at?????

Kid Rock has been hanging with Hank Williams jr, Ted Nugent, Charlie Daniels etc so his new influences are country. I do like some country but I do hate NEW country as it sounds like bad rock to me. The lyrics are Kid Rock but the music is Kid Country ala new country. Update: Removed all the music from this CD from iPod. Just too too mediocre..

I think this album is so beautiful. It has a mixture of something old and something new. Im 20 years old, I’ve been listening to kid rock since i was a kid. Jesus and Bocephus is by far my favorite song. It feels as though it belongs in an award winning film. Love this album.

What's the difference between him going from Rap/Hip Hop to Country Rock and Taylor Swift going from Country to Pop. Maybe if some of you had some sense and listened to lyrics you would understand. You can tell all these stupid 1 star reviews are you dumb teens. His Name? Gotta change it because it's country rock. He sang Rap? I like song out of all his albums. I go to the lake in the summer and instead of hanging with kids, I Hang with Adults and a lady named Cindy loves KidRock and that's how I got into it. We dance ALL SUMMER long to KidRock

I've listen to this gentleman since I've been a kid. I've heard him play everything from rap and rock'n roll to jazz. There's nothing he can't do in the music world. I had the fortune to speak to him once. I'll say he's as kind a soul as you've ever met and probably one of the most intelligent individuals I've ever spoken to. He's an amazing person. The world could use more people like him.

I love this album! I don't understand the negative comments made, because this is Kid Rock. He's always been country rock. He always adds a lot of soul to the country rock, and you can't beat that!!!! P.S. Even before country rock, when he was a rapper singer, you could hear the soul in his vocals. This music is so tired I fell asleep before I heard it.

Wow, every time a new k-rock album comes out I get excited thinking I'm going to be surprised by one of my favorite all time musicians - but nope! What has happened to the combination of great southern rock/blues with an edge? I don't need a ton of cursing and swearing, but these songs can't touch songs like only God knows why, prodigal son, and what I've learned out on the road. Those were great songs not just slapped together in a hurry sounding garbage! This guy has incredible talent - far more than what has taken to make this!

Damn solid record,Johnny cash is a standout track,only critic would be not enough solid rock,he's def going down the track of country exclusively which ain't a bad thing,just don't want him to lose his rock roots too much,well done on an outstanding record

I rate the best songs First Kiss, Jesus and Boephus, Drinking Beer with Dad, FOAD, Say Good Bye, One More Song. Those are not in any partcular order. I will say that my favourite song on the Album is "Drinking Beer With Dad" killer tune!!!

That's what you'll feel like after listening to this album. This is classic American Rock and Roll at its best and Kid Rock does this better than anyone. As the title suggests. Brilliant album that makes you tap your feet and makes you smile. A shame more music isn't like this. His best yet!

Kid Rock done really well on this album, got a bit of everything in there from Rock to country and others I respect him for who he is. Kid Rock is true a Legend to the music business!!

I was really looking forward to this so it's sad to say this new album is well shy of the quality I know Kid Rock can produce. Whether it's the new band, lack of genre fusion or trite material... This has not had the same impact as some of his earlier albums. In fact, First Kiss, One More Song and Good Times, Cheap Wine are the only decent tracks. Followed Kid Rock from the beginning and as a big country fan too, he just isn't suited to pulling off this kind of album. Whereas 'Picture' was a great example of a heartfelt country song, these just seem lacklustre. An amazing live artist and I never thought I'd say this but I preferred Rebel Soul to this new album. Those songs were at least multi layered. Couldn't be more disappointed... Genuinely was so excited by this.

This man really tried it. My iPad took so damn long to load this flop album, it was probably trying to warn me. Once you Talk bad about the queen herself, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter .... You can't go back to your usual life. This is why him, and his album are flopping, like his non existent dick flops at night. Flop n Roll.

After listening to this album a couple of times I'm sad to say this is definitely not Kids finest hour. I have been following his work and always looked forward to his new music. This album seems very slow and country compared to his older music and I have to say I am disappointed. Where is the American badass?
