Kid Rock shows off his REAL talents in this record! Love it! As I grew up with Kid Rock I relate to his life lessons and I see his hidden messages in his music. The kids won't get it, but true fans will, GREAT music and GREAT messages in there man!!!! Can't wait to see him in concert this year!! Listen to the words in his music people! Great stuff!!!

Ok, We listened to it all. It's not good. We're Michigander's ourselves. My husband and I have been big big fan's since 1998 and have seen him in concert over 20 times. We're not into his last couple of albums maybe liked two,three songs. "First Kiss" sounds like a Bryan Adams song. Pretty much bored with it all. What happened to the Kid Rock music I fell in love with. I'm sooo bummed!

Fell in love when I heard First Kiss and after listening to all the cuts I bought the whole album- something I rarely do these days. Excellent tunes for rocking on a Saturday night. Wasn’t a fan of his earlier music. He first caught my ear when he put out All Summer Long. If you liked that, you will love this album.

First off, this is probably not for most old school Kid Rock fans unless your taste has evolved as mine and obviously his has. Johnny Cash is by far my favorite on the record. The entire album has a southern rock feel with the occasional modern country spice but it doesn't seemed forced. I say it's a good buy. Especially considering there aren't many alternatives in the way of new music.

Rock is good, blues are good, country is inherently good, Dixieland anthems are even ok. But Kid Rock makes music in all of these categories that is just flat out shallow. The chorus and tags of his songs can be catchy but there is no substance to any of it. It's about whiskey, good ol times, beer, and other pointless garb. When I listen to music no matter the genre i just want to be moved, or inspired, or captivated. I'm a Michigander and I actually appreciate Kid Rock and I'm sure he's a great guy. The music though. The music is just terrible. And I guess there are a ton of people who don't know what meaningful music is. Go listen to needtobreathe or something and find what your looking for

It’s like he didn’t even try. The lyrics are crap in any musical genre. The music itself is shallow and does nothing. It’s like he just pulled random lyrics and chords out of a hat with ‘Country’ written on it and then strung them together without even caring. Your fans deserve better than this. What was it that David Spade said “nudge me when he gets over 5 decibles”? How about nudge me when he writes something that means something again.

I listen to all genres of music. I love some old school vulgar Kid Rock. This album is different, but what he's been working towards. This album really shows Rock's maturation as an artist. Complete album. He has an awesome voice, reminds me of Segar. This album is reminiscent of old school southern rock. It's not like much else out there today. Any negative reviews are obviously folks looking for hard rock, or old school Kid Rock. Or mad cause the genre iTunes classified it in. Whatever. This album is a must have for a real music lover

From Devil without a Cause to Cocky to Rebel Soul to First Kiss -- I've watched the Kid and admired the transformation as an artist. And I've given two enthusiastic thumbs up to every single album of his. I'm glad he hasn't regurgitated the same stuff from 1998 onward. I love this album!

I purchased the song Jesus and Bocephus from ITunes. It was a good song. Kid Rock has really grown and matured. I purchased the full hard copy of album today. If you don't like it why don't you just FOAD!

I checked this album out because Rock worked with Band of Heathens..but boy is it rough. FOAD sounds exactly like The Band Of Heathens "Shotgun" track (which is better by the way) and is the only track really worth a listen to. Looooong gone are the days of Devil without a cause and it's been downhill ever since

I should have given up a long time ago but I held out hope he would give us a little of his Rock/Rap music again. I was wrong even though that's a majority of what he plays live having seen him 8 times. I guess I'll give this cd to my mom like the last two. No need to even put the parental guidance sticker on these as they are made for parents. Not mad just sad. He is still extremely talented and I will miss him.

I do not get the bad reviews, this is Kid Rock, its original and him. All musicians evolve, I have liked everything he has put out, he is one of the very few that I download the entire album. I am grateful he keeps on singing, puts out new music….he is great in person also, puts on a fantastic show. Grow up people, who wants the same old ; same old…..
