It started in Paris, to get away from her parents. It turned into Something Just Like This, somebody to kiss with fairytale bliss. And now the whole memory bank is unlocked. Piano melody reigns with soaring and bass-heavy EDM as The Chainsmokers tell the tale of times past. Relationship struggles becomes a common theme, especially when she breaks up every night. 'Young' reminds us that its not easiest of days in our youth, under the control of authorities and belittled. The first full Chainsmokers album is great, with my faves going to 'Something Just Like This', 'Break Up Every Night' and 'It won't Kill Ya.'

I love the Chainsmokers their good singers but for the album Memories..Do Not Open I need a clean version for it as well

I’ve been listening to this album since it came out and I’m still obsessed with it!

Going into this album, I knew that it was going to be pop oriented, which I was fine with considering how "The One" and "Paris" sounded. They were both beautiful tracks, and I loved them both. The rest of the album, however, just feels... lacklustre... It still has standout titles, like Something Just Like This, Paris & The One, as well as new released songs like Honest, definitely Bloodstream & Young. It's a decent album, but it has let every Chainsmokers fan I know down. You'll probably forget about these songs within a few months, but you'll hear these songs in a club in ten years and all the memories will rush back. 8/10

For you sensitive parents, lyrics with the "S-Bomb" are labeled "CLEAN" here. Only "F-Bombs" get an "EXPLICIT" advisory on this album. Grow up already!

I didn't necessarily want to like the Chainsmokers but can't help it. There is certainly a similarity to all of their songs- you can tell a song is theirs when you first hear it. That said, all the songs have a twist that is different. I am the kind of person who listens to and apprecitates lyrics and find their music to be meanful from that perspecitive. If you don't care about lyrics, I suspect you may not have as high a rating as I am giving. My favorite song is Something Just Like This, which is such a beautiful love song. But, I also love Don't Say, My Type, Honest and Wake Up Alone!

All the songs sound the same but it's a good song.

All the songs are pretty forgetable in my opinion. Only song I really like is "Something Just Like This",even though the drop sounds like the same keyboard sound from "Roses." I I hope they go back to making what they made before.

No point purchasing their music if you don't want your young kids listening to curse words in the car. It's a shame they mess up their hustle that way. There is a group of next generation kids who will never know who the chainsmokers are.

They should have just put the material from the EP's and Something like this and Paris and made that an album. This album feels very generic and lacks the feel of their previous EP's. Minus 2-3 songs, its just not that great.

Not only are they swearing in an attempt to sound cool, but the sound quality is subpar for an edm group. They are so stereotypical that they could be the death of this genre. The Aviary by galantis is what people should be buying instead of this flaming garbage.

I love getting the lyrics stuck in my head, then trying to forget them! Ha ha ha!

Impressive hard work and it’s heard in their music, featured artist’s and talent is not short at all. Every song has a purpose and rhythm you can enjoy listening to or move too!

For two amazing DJ's, I didn't expect an album full of radio driven pop songs. I wanted more of the classic Chainsmokers and this wasn't it. I'm hoping for a change in the future.

I'm a huge fan of the Chainsmokers but this album was thrown together way to quickly and what they came up with was just a disappointment. Has a few decent songs however. Please don't rush the next album and have more features !

Everyone says each song sounds the same, and they're right - they all sound of the same GOOD tunes. I mean, many good rap songs sound the same, plenty of the biggest pop hits are all auto tune, so why is this any different? Plus give them the benefit of the doubt, it's their debut. Their last ep sounded better, though, I must admit.
