Ready. Set. PASS!!!! What a waste of time. This isn't music, it's just another wannabe star, trying to be "different". Most of the time she sounds off key. The lyrics are predictable, the songs are childish. Not a fan.

With songs like “Superstar” “To Be Human” “Orange Trees” “Life is Strange” “Believe in Love” and “Soft to be Strong” ... I will love this “till the end of the Earth” (another great one!)

marina will always be my favorite artist

I'm a big Marina fan, and have been for years. I appreciate how each album is different from the last, it shows her growth as a person and as an artist. That being said, this album fell flat with me. With the exception of maybe three songs, the whole album (to me) is very boring. The music and beats are bland (they sound very run of the mill, mass produced generic instrumentals), her vocals never reach some of her delicious deeper gritty notes (she seems to sing at middle-higher registers for most of the songs), and the lyrics aren't as fun and clever as they were in previous albums. I'm feeling mostly underwhelmed lyrically and instrumentally. Nothing has that earworm quality to it that previous records did. It's like someone reading their powerpoint presentation word for word to the class boring. (Personal pet peeve of mine is weak weak rhymes, with any artist). I'm happy she took a step and once again tried something new for her album, unfortunately this time it just wasn’t good.

if I could I’d give Fear a 4 or 4.5. It was good, but felt a little lazy to me
