The death of Tim Bergling in 2018 was a shock for us all. But it turns out he’s not gone forever. The album ties the bowstring on the Avicii discography package as family, friends and co-producers of the ‘Wake Me Up’ hit-maker settle unfinished business. This is especially the case with ‘Heart Upon My Sleeve’ (where the TRUE album featured this song as an instrumental), and ‘Heaven’ which is a product of the history-making Avicii/Chris Martin sessions which had also birthed ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’ and STORIES track ‘True Believer.’ One of my favourites is the first track which declares a message of getting off the grid. It’s operatic pulsing tones hooks you in just the same as you’re battle to win the insta-game. A common theme in the entire album is click-clacking synth hooks as used in ‘Bad Reputation’ and ‘SOS’, however it comes off the best in ‘Excuse Me Mr Sir.’ Although there are some numbers which I find are lacklustre (as with any album), there are some real shining moments sprinkled within, and each song demonstrates mastery of even the most delicate, intricate moments, as was evident with the style of Avicii. I like this album and I like how they put lyrics to “HEART UPON MY SLEEVE” which was track 10 on the 2013 album true Imagine Dragons is a good choice. This whole album from Aloe Blacc “SOS” to every other track is amazing. You can’t go wrong with any Avicii song it’s just feel good music and Tim new how to capture it. Amazing!!!! Long live the greatest musician of our time TIM aka AVICII. He will live through our hearts as his music lyrics flow through us.

Avicii’s posthumous album, TIM, with help from his family, friends, and amazing Producer Carl Falk, I feel has helped close the last chapter on Tim Bergling’s star-studded, and woefully short life. Lyrics, tone, and titles all begin to make sense for the artist’s out, as the majority seem to be centered around death, and the potential afterlife. The collaboration with Chris Martin from Coldplay on Heaven is incredible, just as their previous A Sky Full of Stars was. Favorite song by far, with potentially the eeriest title, is Never Leave Me - amazing tone, melody and harmony. Difficult to envision someone who could create such uplifting-sounding music could be in such a dark place. RIP Avicii. You will be missed forever.

It’s nice to see his work has actually be finished and while many of us are left to think of Tim would have finished these songs differently, the production is amazing and every song has its own unique story to tell.

I’ll miss avicii so much. Very glad those close to him were able to finish and put out one more project for him.

no surprise this album is amazing! an amazing man created it!!!

Most or all of these tracks are great, but there were several bangers leaked from concerts and studio recordings that are notably missing (ex: Lord, which was completely finished and even used in the documentary about Avicii). If the people behind finishing and publishing this incredible music are reading this, I think I speak for many many people when I say releasing more of Tim’s music is a fantastic idea. When Frederic Chopin died, he requested that all of his unpublished music be burned, and his mother and sister instead gave it to the world, not in spite of him but in love for his musical genius they thought everyone should enjoy. Thank you for the work releasing these 12 tracks, and we hope for more to come down the road.

This album makes me miss everything Avicii was about, who he was as a person and a skilled artist. It’s still hard to accept that he’s no longer with us physically but this album lets us know he lives on through his music and work. Words can describe...Tim you’re one of my Hero’s and will be forever.

Tough Love has a certain somewhere between middle eastern and Indian classical music feel. That’s the best track in the album imo followed by Bad Reputation. All others are good too.

Heaven is a mind boggling record. Peace Of Mind & Tough Love throw some pure percussion. Ain’t a thing & Heart Upon My Sleeve are blessed with excellent vocals. And last but not least, SOS just delivers that warmth to the heart. TIM is Truly Immortal.

So happy this has been released, guy has been the soundtrack to most of my adult life and seen him at Ushuaia 4 times! Gutted ‘forever yours’ hasn’t made it, a signature Avicii classic!

People are buying and praising because it supposed to be Avicii’s album. He passed away unfortunately but we shouldn’t praise bad music because of that.

Have to this this a two star should be 16 songs but only 12 song in the album also the tunes our love, for ever yours, and faster then light, are not in the album so very disappointed in this
