Wake up everyone
How can you sleep at a time like this
Unless the dreamer is the real you
Listen to your voice
The one that tells you
To taste past the tip of your tongue
Leap in, the net will appear
I don't wanna wake before
The dream is over
I'm gonna make it mine
Yes I, I know it
I'm gonna make it mine
Yes I'll make it all mine
I keep my life on a heavy rotation

you cant hate jason mraz
This album is a testimony to Mraz's personal growth musically and emotionally. This album is thought provoking, melodic, and an all around great addition to any music lovers collection.
I knew Jason was going to be around for a while when I first heard "Waiting For My Rocket To Come" in it's entirety. I had a feeling that album was just an introduction of great things to come, MR A-Z was a nice sophmore album but was not received well by the mainstream and I had questions as to whether I'd hear from Jason again (the mainstream has a way of burying true talent). Well Jason answered the critics with this third album and quickly reminded me of how hard he struck me with his first album. I guess I knew back then that something like this album was coming not too far down the road. This album also solidifies my idea that MR A-Z will be around for quite a long time and we have not even begun to scratch the surface as to what he will deliver in the years to come. Everyone should get ready for the ride because this is not the pinnacle of what Jason can create, more is coming, trust me... This young man is truley a gifted singer, songwriter, composer and someone I will thoroughly enjoy listening to for the rest of my life. Bravo Jason, just Bravo!
If you are the kind of person who tends to enjoy country and classic rock, just about everything in here is the stuff for you. Believe it or not, this song is really easy to learn to sing. Listen to it 2 or 3 times and you'll have. This song ROCKS.
as a huge fan of jason for about 10 years, i will admit that i was kind of surprised with this album. granted, he could sing the ingredients on a package of donuts & i would buy it but i really really love the simpler, acoustic stuff he does. the album seems a little overproduced. i do love the horns and the jazzy feel but every single one of these songs is even more amazing acoustic, and live. & i have to agree with one post, i have heard a lot of these songs from live shows 2 or 3 years ago....if you listen to the selections for friends live album, in the song 'song for a friend' around 5:29, there is a section from 'coyotes' . most of thses songs have been written for a while...it would've been nice to buy something of jason's that has stuff that nobody's heard before.
Wow, I just discovered Mr. AZ not long ago because I heard I'm Yours...where have I been all this time??? I am utterly addicted to his sound, his words, his voice. He is a vocal gymnast and genius. I have downloaded nearly every one of his CD's. And like children, you just can't pick a fave...BUT...I love Butterfly...that song knocks my kneesocks off (listen to the lyrics to know what I'm talking about!)...he is the most seductive song writer I have ever heard. You can't classify him into just one genre...in this album he will take you places... folky coffeehouse acoustic, funk, jazz, hip hop, rock...each time I listen to him, I find something renewed in every song, and everything he writes just grows on me. The small sound clip samples don't do this album any justice...only buy the EP version with the bonus tracks, which I personally prefer. He is best when he is raw, live, acoustic, and with the least accompaniments musically. One more thing, even if you think he is repeating tracks from other albums, he makes them sound so different each time around that it is never, ever redundant. And when is his next album due??? I will be waiting...
Jason deserves so much more recognition for his work!
This entire album is just amazing, I love every song and the way that each one touchs me differently.
This is a great album. I love Jason's style- so layed back and easy- and fun to dance to. Speaking of dance......... Itunes, you really really NEED to get So You Think You Can Dance! So many people love that show, and I'll tell you right now- if you get SoYou Think You Can Dance, you will make A TON of money off of me! Please, iTunes!!
I know that "I'm Yours" is getting a lot of attention but there are others songs on here that are worth the 99 cents as well. I am myself a guy and I like Jason Mraz. I do get a little bit of crap about that from my pals. However, I also listen to some Metallica, some lesser known Indie bands (My favorite is Matt Pond PA), and I absolutely love Pink Floyd. I'll admit "I'm Yours" is a pretty amazing song (What Mraz song isn't?) but buyers should really listen to more than just that one. I like "Love For A Child," Details In The Fabric," "If It Kills Me," "A Beautiful Mess," and the all night session version of "Dynamo Of Volition" way more than "I'm Yours." Ultimate Recommendation: Buy The Whole Album. Second Option: "Love For A Child," Details In The Fabric," "If It Kills Me," "A Beautiful Mess," "Dynamo Of Volition (From an all-night session.)," then maybe "I'm Yours."
this is great
Jason Mraz is God. basically.
Jason I really enjoyed your appearence on SNL. Great variation of "I'm Yours" Your music is so pleasing to me. Keep it up. What style do you call it? Mike C
awesome
Well There's nothing to say but Amazing! I absolutely love the song I'm Yours, but definetly one of the best album's ever!
Calm, relaxing, and the lyrics are adorable!
I really love most of the songs on this album. My favorite is Lucky. Colbie Caillat is amazing with Jason Mraz. I would love to here more of their music together, because they are both amazing. Support these musicians by pressing the "ADD SONG". It's only 99cents, and It is so worth it. I have their whole album and I love to wake up to "Butterfly" each morning.- A great way to start anybodies day. There couldn't be a better combonation of singers, or should I say artists. Don't stop being supportive to these stars!
I first heard I'm Yours on the radio and I instantly fell in love. So I looked it up on Itunes and soon fell in love with several others, including Lucky (feat. Colbie Caillat). Jason Mraz has to be one of the best singers I ever heard and out of 5 stars I give him 1,000!!!!
hands down the best bonus cd i've ever purchased! the bonus track songs are better than the album version. Jason Mraz is blessed with an extraordinary God given talent. His ability to weave together poetry and songwriting accompanied by masterful instrumentals makes this album a must by for anyone that listens to REAL music. this is music in its purest form!!!
This Album Is Excellent!!! I Love To Listen, It's So Mellow!
I knew this albumm would be amazing as soon as I saw all the live songs available. Yes, I told myself, this is worth twenty bucks. And guess what? I was right. Make It Mine - fantastic horns, I love the tambourine in the live version. So subtle and yet so energetic! 9/10 I'm Yours - my heart belongs to the original version, but I LOVE this version too! The live version's quite cute. Huzzah for Toca! 9/10 Lucky - not my favourite, but it's really beautiful. Colbie's a nice touch and it's not as annoying as "Bubbly." 8.5/10 Butterfly - prolly my least favourite, only because I've heard it so many times. It's still incredibly groovy, though. 8.5/10 Live High - Mraz + gospel choir = good combination. That's what's proven on this album. Great message, too. 9.5/10 Love for a Child - so deep and pre-WSWDWST-ish! A must for the hardcore fan. Touching and sad. 9/10 Details In the Fabric - I LOVE THIS SONG. I wish there was a live version of it. You need this song. 9.5/10 Coyotes - I love, love, love this song. One of two or three favourites. Both versions are excellent. 10/10 Only Human - the studio version is not so great, but the Casa Nova Sessions version is AMAZING. Take my word for it. 9/10 The Dynamo of Volition - huzzah for Mrazrap! Another classic from the man with the hat. 8.5/10 If It Kills Me - so passionate and beautiful, it fills me with emotion every time I hear it. Live and studio are equally brilliant. 10/10 A Beautiful Mess - one of his masterpieces. I love this song. The live version is amazing, too. "Here we are... here we are..." is haunting. 10/10 Man Gave Names to All the Animals - excellent cover of a Bob Dylan song, so groovy and fun to listen to! 9/10 Mudhouse/Gypsy MC - classic, classic Mraz. It's fun to listen to him interact with the audience. 9/10 Life Is Wonderful - life is wonderful with Mraz in my life. The "trumpet" solo in the middle is amazing. Great version of one of his best. 9.5/10 Overall conclusion: GET THIS ALBUM. It's too amazing (make it a-Mraz-ing) to ignore.
Yup, that's what I said. Funny enough, I was surfing around MySpace and stumble upon a profile that auto-starts "I'm Yours". Before I could click the back button on my browser, I found myself nodding my head. I had to know who it was as it did sound somewhat familiar, however I didn't hesitate and grabbed this disc later in the day and it's been on iPod ever since. Being a rock and hip-hop head, consider the lines that were crossed in order to grab my attention.
The Hensley record " Beyond" is such a great record. I just got it and cant stop listening to this guy! Check him out! You will thank me later!!!
I love Jason Mrazs beats in his music he always makes a song that you can listen to over and over again. But each song is always somewhat different from the other. That is what I really like about Jason.
This just a great album , well amazing. I love The duet with colbie Calliat on Lucky such a good duet thanks Jason..
I like the song im yours me and my friends do and we are boys!
Im so impressed by this album it's great to album for relaxing, and he's also great live the dynamics are stunning and the songs reveal true emotion with depth, from a teen's standpoint I'm impressed.
The best album out today, my favorite song is I'm Yours. Jason does it again. He is awesome and his voice isn't all yelly like many other singers out there. Rock on, Jason!
Amazing, absolutly fantastic, Jason Mraz has done it again! One of the best artists of all time
The acoustic "Casa Nova" songs are unbelievable! Sooo Sweet!
Jason rocks and after seeing him and concert and listening to his abulm endlessly I can just say that he did it. Though I'm Yours is the breakout song there are many other ones like, Live High and Make it Mine that share the same quality of stardome. A great Buy
I heard this song like 2 years ago on youtube and no one else had heard of it its really not that new. Find some new songs.
An admittedly unashamed Jason Mraz fan, this album did not blow me away at first, but after multiple listens the sweet vocals and interesting musical journey do add up to an enjoyable listening experience.
Why the hell are all ur songs 1.29 now i dont want to buy ur stupid 'whatever bit rate audio' i was perfectly happy with my .99 cent quality
Jason Mraz is underrated in my opinion. This album never gets old to me.
GREAT ALBUM! whoever says his songs are medicore must have Xhit stuck into head, have u really fully listened to all the songs here?dont judge just because I',m yours its a pop catchy song and it perfroms well on the billboard chart. i love "if i kills me"and "love for a child"MOST "details in the fabric"is great too but its a sad one
I'm yours is a good pick up song so if you are in a bad mood listen to this song.
My mom is seriously crazy about his top song "I'm Yours"! It gets pretty anoying!!
I have always loved Jason Mraz, and this is his best album yet. It just frustrates me how people "know" Jason just because of "I'm Yours". Yes, it's a great song, but look at all of the other amazing songs on his album. You know they are there. Don't ignore them. Listen.
And I mean, FANTASTICAL! I love Jason Mraz, this just proves he is an amazing dude!
i love dis album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what it is about this man, but the old saying "I could hear him sing the telephone book and be happy" doesn't even apply here; it is an understatement. Because the MRaz man would take the telephone book and make it into his own unmistakable, undeniably catchy, own masterpiece of wordplay (again), along with his great band, add some of the best music ever and have an unbelievable song on his hands. This man and his talent are just remarkable - We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things - easily the best album of the year in terms of growth for an artist, consistency and all-round feel-good-ness! The bonus cd? The EP's? Gives you a taste of this man live! And trust me, nothing could be better than that! His show at Radio City was pure magic. You go boy!
I really liked Jason Mraz's first album and thought there was no way he could top it, but he totally proved me wrong. It's really pretty incredible how he incorporates an orchestral set, a jazz beat, and rap-r&b lyrics and makes it all flow together seamlessly. "Butterfly" and "Make it Mine" are phenomenal songs. Must listen to.
this album is my all time favorite by Jason Mraz! it is so inspiring and incredible! i enjoy listening to on a regular basis and love his sound and style. A MUST HAVE!
i have been a jason fan for awhile but this album is so complete it is amazing. he is such a gifted artist-i can't enough.when i think i have a favorite song-the next day i find another. the song "love for a child" is so moving and visual, when you listen to it you can see his entire childhood unfolding. wow!
Yet another awesome release by Jason Mraz. I've listened to this so much that I'd have to replace the needle on my phonograph if I had such a thing. Beautiful and unpredictable at times, Jason Mraz reshapes pop music.
I have some of Jason's previous songs, but this album just blows me away. He's improved a lot and his songs are perfect for his smooth voice. :)
I've been a fan of Jason's since he started out and seen him play so many times but this is by far his best studio album yet. Every album this man puts out is amazing but this is definitely one you can't live without.
THIS IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY THE LYRICS MAKE NO SENSE AT ALL THE SONGS ARE HORRIBLE THEY MIGHT BE BETTER IF SANG BY A DIFFERENT ARTIST WOULD NEVER BUY ANY OF HIS SONGS.
This is one of the worst albums ever.
