The Count of Tuscany is the final and longest track on Dream Theater's 2009 album, Black Clouds & Silver Linings. The song explores the soundscapes of many different eras of the band's discography, as well as opening doors to new ideas in its 19+ minute run. Petrucci wrote the lyrics about a count that frightened him while he visited Tuscany in 2004.
