I've already heard the entire soundtrack. While there are a couple of place where the stereotypical 'Bond' theme can be heard, the music is generally in a new direction. My personal opinion: David Arnold's scores for the previous 5 movies are superior to this.

For those complaining that the typical Bond theme isn't saturating this album, I have one thing to say - Change is GOOD! Stop whining and enjoy Newman's work as a standalone piece of music! Did you expect to hear the 1960's Batman theme played in the Dark Knight Rises?? No! The tracks are a little short, and there were times that I found myself hitting the repeat button, but overall this is a fantastic effort by Thomas Newman! Every movie he has scored has been stellar, so give it a shot!

I don't think I care for this trend of needing to buy the theme song for a Bond movie separately from the rest of the soundtrack. With that said, I was at the premiere and found the soundtrack to fit the film, but am not sure it will hold up well on its own as just listening music. I'll go right in the middle on the rating until I have a chance to make it my own soundtrack and change as appropriate.
