Idk where these reviews are coming from! From where I am, Thug runs the ATL rap scene. Thug is up there with Quan, Future, and Migos. Right now, anything Thugger puts out is flawless and the whole South is waiting for Slime Season 3, Migo Thuggin, and Migo Money.

It'll take a certain type of hip hop appreciation to appreciate this tape. Not only has this style not ever been done before, thugger brings this style to light in so many different ways that it is NEVER boring, tape realistically deserves 4/5 considering all these songs were made in 13' or 14' with the tape actually being released in 15' just shows his progression. The release of these songs show that thugger is light years ahead of the rap game and if you can accept his weirdness along with his uniqueness it's pure gold. And the funniest part about this whole thing, is he's just getting started. So all the haters better embrace the sound, or get left behind in the early 2000s and 90s.

This is unique as hell and amazing

I have never in my life like an album front to back, so there for this is my #1 album of all time. I use to be a young thug hater before this album dropped, but once I gave “Check” a listen, my mind began to turn. This album is cohesive as can be and is a masterpiece to say the least.

In all honesty, Lil Wayne and Young Thug aren't as similar as many of the latter's critics make him out to be; Williams has blazed (pardon the pun) his own unique trail since his first projects. Anyways, Barter 6 is not the best album or mixtape (see: Summertime 06, DS2, and To Pimp a Butterfly) of 2015, but I'll be damned if I didn't say it isn't the most interesting. Honestly, this is Young Thug's most fleshed out project, and for fans (this is not for everyone), Barter 6 is a must-listen.
