About This Is Us by Backstreet Boys Album

This Is Us is the name of the seventh studio album from American Grammy-nominated international pop boy band Backstreet Boys. It will be their second album since becoming a four-piece band and is due for release on October 5, 2009 in the UK through RCA Records, October 6 in the US through Jive, and later worldwide through Sony Music. On the album the group have reunited with previous collaborator and producer Max Martin (responsible for the previous hit "I Want it That Way") to try and create their "best record since their 1999 worldwide smash hit album Millennium. They have reportedly worked with Ryan Tedder, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly, Jim Jonsin and T-Pain for the album as well. They have also worked with award-winning producer/songwriter RedOne, who was behind the number one singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga. RedOne produced the album's lead single "Straight Through My Heart", due for radio release in August and digital download/CD release in September.

This Is Us is an American drama television series created by Dan Fogelman that aired on NBC from September 20, 2016, to May 24, 2022. The series follows the lives and families of two parents and their three children in several different time frames. It stars an ensemble cast featuring Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Ron Cephas Jones, Jon Huertas, Alexandra Breckenridge, Niles Fitch, Logan Shroyer, Hannah Zeile, Mackenzie Hancsicsak, Parker Bates, Eris Baker, Faithe Herman, Lonnie Chavis, Melanie Liburd, Lyric Ross, Asante Blackk, Griffin Dunne, Caitlin Thompson and Chris Geere. This Is Us was filmed in Los Angeles. In September 2016, NBC picked up the series for a full season of 18 episodes. In January 2017, NBC renewed the series for two additional seasons of 18 episodes each, and then in May 2019, it was renewed for three more seasons. In May 2021, it was announced that the sixth would be its final season, which premiered on January 4, 2022.
