Man, how far away they have gone from their original sound. Nothing wrong with experimentation or evolution but they make music purely for short-lived pop radio play now...no angst or story telling at all.

This album is another capture of where they are as a band. It’s always a little different then the last album. It’s not crazy different, but it’s enough to make this record it’s own thing.

There are two different generations of M5 fans. They need to start remembering their OG fans one of these days when they’re in the studio. I can dream.

What happened? I am all for musicians branching out and going in new directions but this isn’t a direction, it’s sellout…done. Overproduced, same melodies and trends of all of the other crap being produced in the 2000s. No wonder the top 20 on iTunes is loaded with real music from 30 and 40 years ago…because everyone is fed up with bile like this and want music.

I appreciate the Juice and Nipsey features and the Megan song is ok but pls pls pls go back to being a rock band 🥺

Songs About Jane you could play straight through. I wore that thing out. The first time I heard Harder to Breathe I knew this band was the real deal. They have certainly had other successful albums but have never re-captured what they had on that album. Bring back rock!

Every song sounds the same and what’s the point of having abunch of members in the band if there’s barely any instruments or use of them? If it was just the Adam Levine band then I would care for it more but I can’t even call this a band anymore just the Adam Levine and friends band not the worst album but not a good album for a band

I think they’re losing their roots of originality! I’ll pass. Miss that unique dynamic energy.

I still enjoy this album, the features are some of the best portions of the songs and add a lot. But this is a huge difference for them as a bad, but overall I think they did a good job!

I love when artists change up their sound but for the past few albums the band have been phoning in the most generic mix of whatever is trendy on radio without any creative spark. It’s just so middle of the road, processed, bland...like how do they listen back to this and think this is acceptable?

I believe, Maroon5 is simplify, the alternating factor: they’re the reason we are contributing to the discrepancy that they’re ,unsatisfactorily, but they ease each album with reactions to bending limits & singing well it implodes to being legendary, I can’t understand why you dispel, hatred they’re an accomplished & accountable band full of bending rules, the pondering is we need creativity urges from them, I can’t wait this this is released I urge others, to buy this album, & listen to the songs! True artists with recognition they deserve 👍

It’s not bad, but I definitely miss the days of “V” and “Overexposed”

Maroon 5 is all of you! It’s about you , me and the ways of life. There is so much disconnect because of social media. We have become cold inside. Music is about Love and ways we go in and out of it. Maroon 5 captures that and it’s magic!

This band has fallen so far from the tree its not funny. They started out as a Funky, Blues, Jazzy kinda rock with hints of pop in them, thats what made them catchy. Now, they are giving BTS a run for their money in pop music. Lame, boring and uninpsiring music that can hardly be called music. I mean, does anyone in the band actually play an instrument now? Or is it just synths and loops?

It's been a journey...And a slow descent into madness. Honestly, Maroon 5 used to be my favorite band. 'Songs About Jane' is still one of my all time favorite albums. And even when "It Won't be soon before long' "B-Sides' and 'Hands All Over' came out, I still loved every track. 'Overexposed' was actually the first album that included tracks I didn't like. But i figured it was temporary. I knew one of the main writers was gone at the time and he would be returning later. And i still like most of the songs on it. So I waited... Then 'V' came and it was the first album that included actual radio hits that I didn't like. It's also when I stopped buying Maroon 5 albums. So I cherry picked songs I liked from 'V' and 'Red Pill Blues', which is something I never thought I would do with Maroon 5. And now finally, we have 'Jordi'. The First Maroon 5 album where I don't like any of the tracks. Seriously take a note from the fans and go back to rock. Back when we could hear the roar of the guitar and the crash of the drums. Back when you could decern the other members of the band besides Adam (Ever since the voice got big, it's sounded like Adam Levine the solo albums.) They used to be unique. Now they just blend in with everything else on the radio. Nothing here stands out and makes me say "hey it's Maroon 5! they're back!" Now i'm just wondering if I missed the funeral for the once great band, that we're clearly never getting back.

I liked Megan Thee Stallion featured, but Maroon 5 isn’t what they use to be. Go back to being what you were. It was more your style. Ok so some of the new stuff i like but it’s not the same. That’s all 👍🏾 If you want to collaborate with some one tho, I suggest considering Steve Aoki. Can’t go wrong with him. Just saying 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

Feel bad for the other “band” members. What’s the drummer do, or the guitar player for that matter. It should just be Adam, let the other guys go start their own stuff.

I loved and support this talented band… until around 2010 ish tbh. Moves like jagger was a nice song but started the sellout trend and every album i think, THEY CANTTTT POSSIBLY GET WORSE, but no this is even worse than red pill blues and god i hated that album, lost and beautiful mistakes are tolerable,had potential but wasted for generic pop songs, i will always cherish the first 3 albums and a bit of over exposed for being apart of my childhood and at least having some soul goove and funk but no thats all gone, thanks adam and especially mr valentine for wasting what talent you have left on stupid pop somgs with repetitive guitar riffs that are drowned in and out with poor flynn having his drum set up just to hit a snare once every other beat with the occasional cymbal swing 😢

When people have gave them backlash for being mainstream pop, they didn’t mean they should make trap songs with Meghan Thee Stallion. Levine may love hip hop but he’ll NEVER be a hip hop star because he lacks the ONE thing required in hip hop which is charisma which Levine DOES NOT HAVE.

maroon 5 is a boring, below average basic band.

Are all of the songs fantastic? No. Are any of them as good as anything on Songs About Jane? I would say “Lost” is, and maybe “Remedy” with Stevie Nicks. They just aren’t jazzy rock songs. But this is an enjoyable album overall, and most (if not all) of the negative reviews came out in…May? Why is that even allowed? Haters are gonna hate, I guess. Give Jordi a listen, even if you don’t want to purchase it.

Everything sounds the same in this album as it did the last several.

Maroon 5 is perhaps the most nostalgic band for me. I remember BLASTING Overexposed when I was 11, jamming and bawling. Even years before that, my mom loved Songs About Jane so I always heard “SWBL” and “Sunday Morning.” I saw Maroon 5 on their Red Pill Blues Tour in 2018, and it was the best concert experience I’ve ever had! That was the pinnacle of my M5 obsession, and I was lucky enough to be in the pit. It was such an amazing show. JORDI sounds totally different than any of their other stuff. While we might say that we miss Songs About Jane and IWBSBL, we have to understand that they have to evolve. And while we’ll always miss early-2000s Maroon 5, their evolution has been amazing. With my first listen, my favorites are Lost, Remedy, One Light, and Can’t Leave You Alone! Maroon 5 is so under-appreciated nowadays! They deserve so much more recognition. I will never not be a fan of them.

I used to love Maroon 5 (esp albums 2 through to 5) but not keen on this new style of music. Too many collabs & the remix of Memories is terrible. These guys can & should do better.
