I listened without prejudice and I am wondering why this is called a Maroon 5 album when it seems like an Adam Levine solo with guest stars disc?! I’m gonna chalk this one up to a “the pandemic stunted creativity” release. They are better than 2 songs (and the first two openers at that) disc throwaway. I’m still a fan boys…and loyal fans tell you the truth. Get back to a great band and stop putting out music that was better left sung in the shower.

Not even close… I hate so much.

Wow. I was SHOCKED to hear this was M5. This is an all time low for them. I have been a long time fan but the last few albums have been such a let down and this was sadly just as bad if not worse. Auto tuned to death and it sounds so forced. M5 is at a point where I think they feel they can just throw some stuff together and everyone will buy it. Obviously we know trends change but this is so off the mark…get back to your roots guys

I've loved everything they've done since their very first single dropped. There isn't one song that I can say I love on this album. I think they are trying to remain relevant with a younger crowd...but its like they are losing touch with who their audience is. I will still buy all of their albums, but I hope they read these reviews and take them to heart. I still love Maroon 5.

I don’t care what people say but, Maroon 5 is a legendary Band with solid hit after hit! Haters say they sound the same. What? When Bands change people complain and say they should go back to what made them good. You people need a life. Haters make them famous!! Love this Album!

I think this album is amazing. Yeah, the others are good too, but I think this is fresh!

Remember their debut album? There were thumping guitars, rocking drums and a nice edge when you combined the instruments with Levine's voice. Now the band barely exists as it's all autprogramming and just sounds like rock for people who love to stare at their navel. Adam Levine must be the music indsutry's most sacred prostitute as he will do anyting to sell records. This is such dreck!

M5, for 9, I value them in the extremism, of what prevails, we need to enforce and embody, that the creativeness of the relativity of mind is consequently the best solution, I favor them & wish them well, the flow of the process is amiable for creative purposes, this is their most significant contribution. Please release, Remedy (Feat. Stevie Nicks), as the next single for the album.

They need to go back to the funk/rock attitude of their music. This album is trash. Forgettable.

This sounds like someone from the band called the others and said, “We should do an album.” Nothing really exciting here. Their music has been on the decline for a few years. It’s time to go and continue listening to rap with lyrics that are beyond comprehension. Where has pop music gone?

I don’t care what the haters say. To me, this is a good album. The sound is different and I love it. It makes me want to sing and dance. I like how the music has evolved with this album. Great job guys.

The only new song I like is beautiful mistakes but frankly Megan thee stallion sucks… I definitely have mixed feelings for this album. I do miss the old Maroon 5 days.

They’re so desperate to stay popular it’s actually sad lmaoo

Usually it is…a major M5 fan! I own all they’ve put out but this one, sorry I wasted my $12. There are a few gems with possibly here; yet the songs are so short or repetitive I wonder where the creativity went? Adam and the guys had such an opportunity to present a thoughtful, moving, deep album with all that delayed the release of this one and WOW they missed the mark. Or perhaps in their old age they have become complacent and misplaced the passion of lyrics they’re know for. Still a fan; always will be. Just bummed to have waited so long for 43 minutes of 14 sub par songs that seem like afterthoughts of studio dabblings. With guest appearances. Sigh.

Don't know much from this band before overexposed. That's the bar I set and this was nowhere close to there. Red pill blues was nowhere close either but I could at least enjoy it. Good for nostalgia once or twice more but mainly a cringy album

Bam! Right out of the shoot in Memories, you can hear the distinct echoes of Pachelbel's Canon. Didn't think they were going for the Andrew Lloyd Webber Plagiarism Award where he "allegedly" lifted recurring melodies written by Giacomo Puccini. Puccini's relatives sued Webber.

This is the third review I’ve left today where I finally actually like a band/musicians songs that I’ve never been able to even tolerate before LOLOLOL! And you all hate it! You hate the new stuff huh? I love it! I love this new, tolerable maroon 5 sound, and I actually downloaded the album! First time ever! First time I didn’t cringe when I heard one of their songs! Hey, if you don’t hate this album, check out Ed Sheehan’s new single “bad habits” or whatever it’s called. People hate that too and it’s good. 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t usually review music. But I felt like I needed to with this one. With every album they have made, they inch a little closer to being generic. Their last album still had some good songs, but this one had even less than the last one. I counted 2, maybe 3, and they were all ones that had been pre released.

And I’m not even a “maroon 5 fan”

The band has officially become everything that is wrong with music today. Monotonous and boring, not soul. They have really fallen off musically as a band.

I was excited to see that they came out with new album...but as I sampled each song , I was supremely disappointed. It’s no longer pop... Adam and the boys be soundin’ too rap-like....why do white pop guys eventually all be wanting to sound sound black....??? ... and end up doing a horrible job at it. C’mon fellas, this is crap.

Mixing Rock and Hip-Hop was the best thing that Maroon 5 could have done. I’m glad there making different kinds of genres for there music by expanding themselves as well.

Ok there are the naysayers- don’t listen to them just because they don’t like an album and have to over analyze everything. This is a reallllly good album and any old or new Maroon 5 fan will enjoy it. If you can’t roll with changes, we’ll, it’s going to be a very very hard world for you (the bad critics). I am very happy and I love the album.

They need to get back to their roots. All sounds the same and club-ish.

apart from about 2 songs this album is absolutely terrible. They have really lost there spark, its almost like they made no effort with this at all.

I’m always a bit sad with maroon 5 these days as the newer sound they’ve gone for over last couple of albums has been so disappointing! This is a band who released an absolutely cracking album “songs about Jane” in the 2000’s. To see their quality of music deteriorate this much is absolutely heartbreaking.
