The production and beats on this album are insane, 40's production carries and continues to evolve and finesse the entire game, along with Drake growing as an artist with more witty lines and double and sometimes triple entendre's than I've ever heard from him. I'm on my 4th listen and I'm still noticing different meanings and hidden gems of the same line I thought I understood previously..
One of the most heavily criticised things I've seen by Rap fans which I believe is the strongest most positive on the album, are the vocals. More specifically Drake's range and emotion and energy he's putting into them. They are incredible, the different pockets he explores and melodic switches pair up with the beat switches for incredible almost seemily spontanous direction changes that surprise you ever time, even after multiple listens.
Nobody can do this but Drake, nobody.
If you think otherwise you are delusional. He's the GOAT for a reason. This album surpassed my expectation. I'm not going to pretend I mess with every track on the album, but I'm hooked to over half and that's a much better record than your favourite rapper/singer's last album, probably a better record than in the last 20 years, you can listen to this album back to front and back again, easy.
Don't listen to the hate. This is one of Drake's best albums...
But as the title says...This is For All The Dogs...If you ain't one this ain't for you!
