About CANDYLAND by Brooke Candy Album
CANDYLAND is the sophomore studio album by Brooke Candy, released on July 25, 2024 and containing sixteen songs recorded from August 2020 to June 2024. It is also set to be followed up by a second volume in late 2024. Candyland was first slated for release in summer 2022 with the working title "Freaky Princess", reportedly featuring singles "Flip Phone", "Yoga","Juicy Fruit", and "FMUATW", as well as other songs in this early batch such as "Fish" and another unknown song. The album has been described as “more pop and digestible” than her debut album Sexorcism. Brooke announced the album’s completion on September 9, 2023. She also confirmed that the unreleased song "Fish" would appear on the album. On November 21, she confirmed via Instagram that the previously scrapped Jhawk-produced song "I Don’t Love ‘Em" would appear on the album as well. The album was supported by the singles "Safe Word”, "Pills", and "Block" throughout 2024 before the album’s official release on July 25, 2024.
