This album is not only missing the Kasabian track, but a Siouxsie and the Banshees track and a couple of others. Also, track 11 here sounds an awful lot like the 28 Weeks theme (track 1). Is this Mr. Bates' nod to John Murphy, or a plagiaristic act? You decide. All in all, a decent soundtrack, but not as exciting on its own merit, expecially if you haven't seen the movie. Tyler Bates has done much better work than this.

Absolutely awesome score. Great sound & tempo. Probably the best soundtrack i've heard after the Pirates Of The Carribbean. Certainly advise to have in library.

Plenty of great music in this soundtrack, Tyler Bates has a great feel for music. The last six tracks are exceptional but not to take anything away from the entire soundtrack as a whole. If you liked Ty;er Bates 300 soundtrack you'll like this.

Tyler Bates has proved to me time and time again that he can make a film so good with an equal bombastic soundtrack. The composer set out to create a dark and moody atmosphere, and he succeeded! Must buy especially for two tribes song, awesome music!!!

I just saw DOOMSDAY-It was AWESOME! Can't wait to put together a COMPLETE playlist after I get the score! I see someone posted a question about the ending credits track-It was by Kasabian...they're really good,If you're a fan of early-mid 90's Brit-Pop,ie;Charlatans UK,Stone Roses,The Verve,Etc... (Although Kasabian is a newer band) I guess there just wasn't enough space to fit all the songs-Siouxsie & the Banshees "Spellbound",Fine Young Cannibals "Good Thing",and Kasabian "Club Foot".

I would have liked the score, had it actually been original. Tyler Bates has already been busted for plagiarising Elliot Goldethal's score from TITUS for his score in 300, but he rips off John Murphy 28 DAYS LATER score in DOOMSDAY. Listen to "Sinclair Slips Away" and then John Murphy's "In the House in a Heartbeat."

I just downloaded the Doomsday soundtrack and noticed one of the songs in the movie wasn't on the soundtrack, the track is called "Good Thing" by Fine Young Cannibals. It is the song that comes in after they introduce Soul.

The score is ok, but this guy blantly rips other composers. Check out "Titus" if anyone likes the "300" score and "Mission:Impossible 2" he lifted stuff from for this. It's amazing he hasn't been sued.

Bates has an amazing and inventive way of juxtaposing classic 80's electronica with orchestra making his score to Doomsday epic and huge. His attention-grabbing use of synth, orchestra and choir makes this one of the coolest scores of the year. It's heavy, raucous and fun and I highly recommend getting this one!
